Best Philly cheesesteak sandwiches outside of Philly! Love the cheese wiz fries and the peppers are so good and complement the sandwich well!

Had the Pepper steak with cheese. Loved the roll and sweet peppers. Hardly any meat in it though. We came in at the end of the night so maybe that’s why? I’d agree with those that say this doesn’t compare to the real deal you’d get in Philly, but it’s close enough for me to enjoy it. I’ll give them another shot and see if the next sammy gets a decent amount of steak or not.

Clean restaurant, nice employees, delicious food! Philly cheesesteak was good(not the best, but still good), turkey hoagie was great, and fries we’re ok. Plenty of options for adults and even a kid’s menu. Highly recommend!

I have yet to make a comparison to real Philadelphia Cheesesteaks. Looking forward to doing that soon, but for now this will do.

The only good thing I can say about this place is that the service was friendly and fast. These people have no clue how to make a cheese steak. I don’t know what kind of meat they used but it was absolutely awful, and anyone who thinks these are«great’ also has no clue what a cheese steak is supposed to taste like.

I had ordered a meatball sandwich and it was delicious I’m going back for one this weekend at the Torrance CrossRoads. Philly’s Best a good price I love it. This is probably one of the best meatball sandwiches I’ve had in a long long time as well spice juicy is not dry and they put lots of cheese on it it’s really really good!

I went here today for a really quick lunch and the philly was pretty good. The bread that they use is tasty but it is a lot of bread which takes away from the actually contents of the philly. The customer service was great and the order came out quickly. The restaurant was clean and they have a great selection of hot sauce.

Ridiculous that Philly’s Best only has 3 ½ stars! I would go to the Long Beach location but I now live in the South Bay. I tried another cheesesteak place out here & came back to this! My boyfriend loves it, too. Fries are whatever but the onion rings are to die. Delish! Friendly staff & great service.

Just to update, I tried the sub with provolone instead of the white American that comes standard, and it made all the difference in the world. No saltiness, just deliciousness!

A solid three, no higher no lower. The cheese steak was filling, and a good value. The fries were bland, even with the Old Bay seasoning… Next time i would order the beer-battered onion rings, or get the fries smothered in various toppings, for which they have many options. If i’m in the crossroads plaza, i’d rather take my business to In n’ out or LnL Hawaiian barbecue. Not a bad choice if you’re in the mood for a hefty ‘wich.

Great food and exceptional service called ahead today to order a Philly cheesesteak and the lady on the phone was very kind and took my order. When I arrived she came out from the back to make sure my order was correct and I received great customer service. Thank you kind lady owner?. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommending this establishment to friends and family.

I am not much of a Philly Cheesesteak guy, so I don’t know how these compare to a good cheessteak. I thought it was OK. It was better with hot sauce and jalepeños. I would go to the Jersey Mikes if I am in the area again.

Good service… But for a «Philly cheese steak» restaurant… I’ve had better. Disappointing.

Been coming here for several months and my favorite is their Philly Cheese Steak Fries. Super cool people that work here.

The Sandwich was good. The bread was as close as you can get to the bread on the east coast. My only problem is the girl who worked the cash register also cut the sandwich. She put a glove on the hand she held the mustard with but touched the sandwich with the hand the didn’t have a glove. That’s not best practices for any restaurant to me. I think if you’re handling the money put gloves on both hands to handle food or don’t touch the food. Money passes many hands and has fallen on many floors and sidewalks so be very caution when handling food after you’ve exchanged money. The cook should have wrap the sandwich in my opinion. After all that’s how they do it at Jersey Mike’s. At Subway they use gloves to make the sandwich then take them off to exchange money. I love Philly’s Best so please be cautious so we can keep coming back!

I wanted to like this place, I really did. I have a soft spot for cheesesteaks dating back to middle school when I’d go to Coco’s every Saturday and order one. Not really the best of the bunch but it certainly introduced me to it. With Del Amo Steakhouse now gone, one must find a local alternative and sadly it won’t be here for me. The potential was there, good bread and quality ingredients. I had the mushroom steak and the food was cooked well. Problem is, it didn’t come together like a cheesesteak should. You expect a little bit of char which helps bring out the flavor but that was nowhere to be seen. You can taste where it would be good but ultimately it’s bland. Bit of a shame.

Love the sandwiches here. They have Amoroso rolls, Wiz, and Tasty Kakes — The trinity of a true Philly sandwich spot. We tried the Italian which was really good and not too heavy. I had the chicken sandwich after seeing the pic on the window that showed they use shaved chicken instead of cubed or sliced. I added wiz and onions, and I really enjoyed it. Only thing I would change next time is make it double meat. Also had the cheesesteak fries which were very tasty. The prices were surprisingly low at an average of $ 6.99 per sandwich. The only thing they are missing is Garlic Fries. Philly’s Best if you’re reading this please add garlic fries to the menu :) Everything was great and we’ll definitely be back!

This was the first time trying Philly’s Best, so we didn’t know what to expect. Upon entering the door, we were greeted by a young lady from behind the counter. She had an energetic smile and attitude, which made us feel like we made the right choice for dinner. We ordered the plain Philly steak sandwiches, but with her recommendation, added grilled onions to it. Boy was she right about the onions. She said it adds just the right amount of flavor and moisture to the steak sandwich. Plus, they use a high quality bun for the sandwiches. Such a winning combination. They also won we over with the unlimited Kosher and Dill pickles. For a first time visit, it was a very pleasant meal and we look forward to going back again and trying something different from their menu.

Had lunch at Philly’s Best the other day and was happy with the food but did have some issues, lemme break things down: Ok first off the Philly cheesesteak I had was delicious, the restaurant is clean, and service was fast. My issues, price! Just seemed like I paid about $ 3-$ 4 more than I should have for this kinna food. Did have fries and a soda but still I’m throwing this out there, prices should be shaved just a bit IMO. Will be going back but would love it if they put out some kind of discount through Unilocal or other means. Then I’d prolly be a regular and a lot of other people would too. I like you Philly but leaving you a tre’ star until you come up w a solution. Oh and parking is kinna a b! atch because it’s a very busy center but that is manageable they just need to run more promotion or discount programs.
