[Review #46] After every ballet class, my l’il one refuses to leave without stopping by the garden. There’s a stone path encircles the garden, with a small pond to the east that’s filled with koi, some turtles, & on some occasions, a mallard or two will visit. H likes the gentle breeze & it’s usually cooler in the garden than the rest of TCAC. She regularly makes a couple of rounds with a stop or two at the koi pond before we can have a peaceful departure. I guess the tranquility of this place mellows her for the ride. LOL :-X Since she loves gardens & koi fish, I think we need to visit a couple local favs of mine: Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden(I visited regularly during CSULB midterms & finals week… serenity now… LOL) & South Coast Botanic Garden(free on the 3rd Tuesday each month). Namaste [bowing]… Om…

Cute and relaxing little Japanese garden to visit well you’re at the art center or stopping by the Torrance library. Nice for take pictures or having a relaxing lunch by one of the small waterfalls. They have a pond filled with coy fish and a couple of turtles. It’s kind of small but very cute. If you have trouble finding it, head over to the performing arts center and its right next to it. The website states you can book the garden for weddings, but it would have to be a terribly small wedding I would say no more then 10 guests.
