I had a wonderful experience with Julie. I purchased a bed from them, that I saw advertised on Craigslist. Over the phone, Julie took the time to look the piece over for any dings and scratches, and even texted me photos, to show me that the 1920’s bed was in perfect condition. I was moving soon, and they stored it for several weeks for FREE, until I was ready. They only charged $ 50 to drive it up from Torrance to West Hollywood. The delivery men were polite, and even set up the bed for me when they arrived. They were very careful not to bang the walls. I hope I find more goodies to buy from them!

A very good vintage shop, especially for old school books! A lot of African wood sculptures, a very good selection of vintage typewriters. Not the place for jewelry or clothing. A nice assortment of furniture and depression glass.

The store has a lot of great vintage /antique items. They only got 4 of 5 because he wasn’t too keen on my Girlfriend and I walking through the store. We are always looking for Vinyl, books that pre-date the 50’s and Antique Typewriters alike, they have a nice selection…

Had an opportunity to drop into this shop the other day. Perhaps, I am spoiled, as I live in an area with tons of antique shops? Frankly, I didn’t find this shop overly compelling. Don’t get me wrong, they certainly had a few interesting items but I found their prices to be high, the store wasn’t organized and much of the stuff felt more thrift store than antique or vintage. For the right shopper, this place could be good. However, I don’t need to leave Long Beach to find numerous places that have a much better selection. I was hoping to add another shop to my rotation, but that unfortunately didn’t happen. My instincts were correct, while the shop had exactly what I was looking for with a little effort I was able to find something just as compelling at a fraction of the price. Happy hunting!

O M G! I had just been dropped into old town Torrance and found this gem of a place. I walked in and first of all — a cute little dog in a dog bed was sitting at the cash register just chillin’. He looked at me and knew I was cool and let me browse and in no time i found the vinyls(I do have a bit of a collection) I was blown away by the selection! It was one good find after another and the prices were more than reasonable for the find. I was having a small heart attack every time i flipped back the vinyls one by one because i could NOT believe what they had in this shop. I felt like someone had dropped me in the middle of Candid Camera and this was all a set up. I was waiting for some one to jump out and say«Just kidding! These aren’t for sale!» or they were one million dollars each. But this was no joke, i did some SERIOUS spending here and plan to do it again. BONUS! At the end of my shopping attack i brought my overwhelming stack up to the counter and the man– seeing that i was an avid collector — asked me if i had checked out the box he had sitting next to the register with — surprise — MORE vinyl treasures! I jumped up and began scanning and almost cried! I found 6 more records and nearly passed out several times. He said they regularly get shipments and to keep checking back Please check out this store — they also hold a street antique fair the last Sunday of each month. I didn’t get the attendant’s name, but I liked him. He wasn’t too friendly and showed me he was straight business. I love a no– nonsense approach

I loooooooohhhhhhvvve this place! Judy is awesome! They have everything from high-end deco and midcentury modern to fun and quirky curios of all kinds – think gigantic Raggedy-Ann doll from a movie set! You could lose hours in this place looking at all of their stuff – and Judy is willing to give you a deal! Sometimes she’ll take a signifcant chunk off the sticker price without a beat – and without making you feel like a cheapskate schnoorer! If this place didn’t exist, my place would be filled with lame, particle-board, Ikea crap, but instead, I have beautiful pieces of history exemplifying that yesteryear labor of love – all for a decent price! And if you live close by, they will even deliver larger pieces for no extra charge – viva Street Faire Antiques!
