This place is gross! Seafood was not fresh or anything else for that matter. I would not come here again and risk getting sick. Oysters tastes old and slimy, steak was brown before even being cooked, the fruit even looked weird. Yuck

Prepare to eat ass. If you’re lonely and you want to eat your heart out go right ahead but only on weekdays for their lunch specials. Any other time well… prepare to get even lonelier because you’ll be loathing to fact you spent $ 30.00 on less than mediocre food.

Where to start. Hum… Not quit Vegas standards. Food was good but not great. Over priced for the line up. Sea food quality was good. Just not jumping head over heels. With a name like Las Vegas Buffet I was looking for variety and options. Mostly seafood and Asian cuisine. Which is great but Vegas has American, Brazilian, Asian, and every other place under the moon. Just ur average buffet, but way over priced. Got me in the door with the term«Vegas» but next till I will drive to Vegas for a Vegas buffet. That way I am not disappointed.

SO I was very surprised and very pleased. Came here to celebrate my aunts birthday and it was my first time. Its near the Del Amo mall so the area us nice and busy. When you walk in you truly feel like you are in Las Vegas, chandlers every where and tons of people. All the food is FRESH, hot and amazing. Some people(like myself) get skeptical about some buffets but if I can say so myself one of the best I’ve ever experienced. The sushi was iced and fresh and all Chinese food was fresh and replace often as the food goes fast. Tons of crab legs including a salt and pepper marinated crab legs which were delicious. Now my fave was the Teppan Grill and they use garlic butter just like at Benihanas. Great place to go with family, friends, and kids are free on Mondays which a adult. MUSTTRY!

Had hesitated on going as my girlfriend doesn’t eat seafood, and friends reported it rather pricey. Found a coupon and decided to try it. Wasn’t as expensive as they said. I am giving 4 stars only because the variety is nowhere near that of a Vegas buffet, or even HTBuffet or Golden Corral. However, the quality of the food was excellent. None of the bland, mass-produced items at other local buffets. Everything I tried was good.

Giving it five stars because the 3 star average is ridiculous. It definitely deserves a higher rating than the other buffets in the area and I would go back. Light jazz muzak. +1 The highlight was the Brazilian chicken and sausage on a spear. Did not try the beef. I’ll have to say I was not impressed with the sushi selection, but if I want sushi I don’t go to a buffet anyway. Crab legs and cocktail shrimp were A-OK. Dessert section was nice. At least the cookies were. The frozen yogurt(strawberry) was particularly tasty too. The meat-serving guys behind the counter were AWOL at times. Not in the mood to shout them down like I’m in a night club. Also, the pizza and chicken nuggets were appalling — but that’s what you get if you choose that instead of the grown-up food.

Honestly, I had to drive forty minutes to get here, then wait another forty minutes to get in, and it was not worth it whatsoever. Personally, whenever I go to buffets, I’ll eat from the seafood, sushi, and dessert sections. The oysters here are not bad, the sushi is subpar, and the sashimi was definitely frozen beforehand — I could feel the freezer burn. Lobster is limited to one per person, but it was dry and just overall, horrible. My aunts and uncles really liked the crab apparently, so I guess that’s a plus? I made the horrible mistake of trying the Brazilian BBQ section. Their roast beef is well-done… Definitely do not eat. Everything in that section was pretty much dried out and overcooked. Also side note, their mac and cheese is gloopy and the flavor isn’t noteworthy. Dessert itself was hit-or-miss. They have frozen yogurt with toppings which is pretty nice, but every other dessert wasn’t good. The crème brulé was bearable, but it was just too eggy. The cheesecake wasn’t bad though, I probably enjoyed that most. Service was meh — waiters weren’t as attentive as they could have been, but I went on New Year’s so it was super busy, so I understand. Overall, I wouldn’t eat here unless you already live in the area. Even then, only come here if you have a super big group with a wide variety of food preferences.

My family really enjoys eating at these kinds of buffets since we go all out when it comes to our food. So when they first found out that there would be a Vegas Buffet at the Del Amo Mall, they were super ecstatic. For a buffet, this place is like a lot better compared to most other Chinese buffets that you probably know like Hokkaido. There used to be another Chinese buffet near the mall but that one closed down for quite some time. At this particular location, there is a huge variety of food and it’s quite impressive. Their crab legs and oysters are insanely good! Those are my parents’s first choice whenever we come here. They usually stock up on those for our whole family to eat together haha. Food can be salty at times but that’s expected at a Chinese food buffet like this one. Service can be meh but it’s forgivable. You come here to eat. It can get pretty busy during peak hours just to let you know and the wait can be long when it happens. There’s plenty of parking so no worries about that. My family usually comes here whenever they are in the mood or there is a special occasion. There are two other locations: one in Glendale and the other in Hollywood. Glad that there’s one in Torrance for my family to come over! I know that people from OC would drive all the way down to Torrance just for Vegas Buffet LMAO that commitment doe…

Parking — so this place is in the outdoor mall area so there is ample parking however it shared with mall goers and can get crowded during peak times. Service — they were quick at clearing our table and refilling our beverages Food — Good variety and great choices. I’d say only place that was underwhelming was the lobster that the place boasts, every person in your party gets a ticket for a lobster — which is really just half a lobster and it was just ok. I think the sashimi was more exciting. In addition other than the fro-yo and chocolate fountain the desserts were a little lacking, my crème brûlée was way overdone and not creamy. Other than that — crab legs, sashimi, and made to order noodles were fantastic.

So happy ever time I come here. The servers, chefs are awesome and tips are welcome. All kinds of food, including American, Asian, DimSum and Sushi, plus so many surprises. Go slow and indulge. No bar, but they do serve a small variety of beers. Not to worry there are plenty of bars nearby, if you just have to get your«drank» on. :) Happy eating. Also enjoy Wide screen Television with sports and Jazz playing over the speakers. Great atmosphere.

You get what you pay for. Vegas buffet is awesome, as far as buffets go. If I had to go to a buffet in the area, this would be the one. On that alone, it might deserve 4 stars. It does strive to be cleaner and have a wide variety of food. If you start near chocolate fountain, you have all the salad fixings, then seafood(shrimp, oysters, clams, half blue crabs, crab legs), Brazil station(chicken, bacon wrapped chicken, sausage, beef), Chinese food(all the usual suspects) then some American food, and finally sushi and the hibachi station. Some items were refilled faster then others. The oysters and crab legs go fast and refilled quickly. I gave 3 stars based on experience and food which is just fine. Nothing amazing. Service was subpar. Unfriendly. We asked for crab leg crackers and we were told the 3 they gave us was enough for our table of 20. Really? Maybe if you stick to one or two stations you’d feel more satisfied and appreciate the food — unless you love buffet style eating, everything starts to taste the same!

This place is incredible! Their food was fresh and so good. I’ve been to many many buffets and this one by far is the best. They are definitely worth the money. We went around 6pm. P. S. the dessert was amazing! Usually the desserts at these kinds of buffets are bland, but this one definitely exceeded expectations.

My Husband and I went here and we thought it was great! They have fresh everything all the time because they’re so incredibly busy, they’re constantly bringing out more food. We loved that! So I’d like to give it 5 stars for the food but now the nasty stuff. My Son who is 18, decided to take his girlfriend out to dinner as part of her Christmas present On my recommendation he took her to Vegas Seafood Buffet. When they came home they both seemed a bit angry. He and his girlfriend told me they sat them in the way back with all the black people. Now my Son’s girlfriend is half black so she just thought is was strange that all the black people we grouped together on the patio section of the restaurant and that was coldest part because it was on the patio! My son’s girlfriend asked to be moved because she was cold and they sat her next to a door that every time it opened, it slammed into the back of her chair hitting her head. Well the hostess said no, we can’t move you but when they looked around, there were clearly other places available. She complained to the hostess about the door hitting her in the head every time it was opened and she told her that the door was not to be used unless there was a fire, YET… everyone was in fact using the door. My son has been with this girl for almost a year and these two kids have never mentioned any thing like this before. So it’s not like they go around pulling the race card, which inclines me to believe that they feelings may have been valid. Now I’m not suggesting we boycott but to be aware and if anyone else feels this way, then I think our community has to respond. (Sorry for any typos)

We had a holiday dinner here for a group of 20 nurses. It was nice to have the buffet option and people could come and go as they pleased. The food was pretty good. Not amazing, but better than most buffets.(I haven’t been to a buffet in a long time though). The customer service was great and the severs were quick to refill drinks and clear plates. They had a nice outdoor enclosed patio area, so we were able to be secluded from the rest of the restaurant.

The food is average or below average. My kids love the fondue a lot and that’s why we came here several times. I think the hot plates and Mongolian BBQs are slightly above average, while the cold plates are mostly below. The decoration looks fancy, and the staff works very diligent to remove the finished plate. I don’t really like their restroom and tend to avoid using it.

The Good — Excellent Mongolian stir-fry station with quality ingredients(sirloin steak, prawns, fresh veggies, lo-mein noodle). Good crab legs, not salty. Good walnut mayo shrimp, Good Brazilian churrasco station. And they have fresh papaya! Good lunch price The Bad — oysters, squid and clams didn’t taste all that fresh. mango pudding dessert was hard like rubber. I would avoid most items sitting under a heat lamp and go for the fresh carved meats and stir-fry…and the crab legs! Expensive dinner price for what you get. For better overall buffet experience, I would still go to «NY-Style China Buffet» on PCH. The only thing«Vegas» about this place is its modern glass & marble décor. The food choices are pretty much what you’d find at any generic LA. Chinese buffet.

Heard good things about this place so came here to celebrate my dad’s birthday! Sunday Brunch is $ 20 per person which doesn’t seem bad to me at all. Walked in and was seated right away. They have a sushi station, seafood station, Mongolian station, soup station, meat carving station, hot foods station, salad station, and dessert station. I just stuck with the sushi and seafood station though. What I got: 1st plate: sushi first! They have a pretty good variety of sushi and sashimi. I got a piece of every roll that had salmon in it since it’s my favorite! Fish looked fresh and tasted pretty good. They even have a station for just the fish eggs which I wasn’t too big of a fan of, but it looked so colorful so I had to try it. 2nd plate: my seafood plate. Crab legs, shrimp, and scallops. Snow crab legs were always restocked so I didn’t have to go fighting for it with other people! Parents loved it, said it wasn’t salty and went back for a couple more plates of them. I probably ate about 10 crab legs on my own… I would just stick with the snow crab legs and not the seasoned crab legs though. Baked shrimp wasn’t that good, but the walnut shrimp was. Baked scallops were good and had a good amount of the tiny scallops in them too. Hot & Sour Soup: good! Not too spicy or too sour. My mom makes this at home sometimes and she definitely liked it here. Dessert: crème brûlée was definitely my favorite and ate 2 of them. Frozen yogurt was okay and they flavors they had for that day were vanilla, chocolate, mango, and some other flavor. Service: Fast at picking up the dirty plates and refilling water cups. So good service in my book for buffets. Parents loved it here so I’m sure we’ll be back again!

My GPS tries to prevent me from getting fat. Every time I try to go to the Vegas Seafood Buffet in Torrance, it directs me to the wrong side of the mall. Takes me a minute to orient myself and remember it’s in the open shopping area, near the Marshall’s. Sorry, Google, gluttony wins again. This buffet isn’t really as extravagant as the ones in Vegas, but it’s about 4 hours closer. I’ll take it. The prices are also a steal: Lunch(M-F 11:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.) — $ 12.95 Dinner(F-Sat 4 – 9:30 p.m., Sun 4 – 9 p.m.) — $ 21.95 There’s also a separate price for weekend brunch and weekday dinners. A «couple» items I like on the dinner buffet line: –Raw oysters: the big variety so not high-end, but not fishy either –Roasted Duck: crispy skin, juicy duck; grab it fast because it takes them forever and a day to bring out a new one –Taro Bun bun & Rose Bun: the breads are soft and warm; hope you’re not cutting carbs –French Style Beef: tender beef cubes stir-fried, solid flavors –Sushi: they have the raw stuffs, salmon/tuna/octopus, etc.; not the fanciest but fresh –Chocolate Fountain: skewer fruits/marshmellows, stick under fountain; let that inner kid out! –Oreo Cup: Oreos and cream in a mini cup; don’t worry, there’s a berry on top to make it healthy The Brazilian BBQ is a bit dry, but most other items here are great quality for AYCE. I look forward to my next visit, although my GPS is probably already plotting its next move to thwart it. Good luck, Google, gluttony always wins.
