I can not speak for the Towaco location, but the Pine Brook location is the worst ice cream I have ever eaten in my life. Forget about the fact that the store is laid out horribly, with only a few flavors displayed. Forget about the fact that the teenagers in there have no idea what they are doing. I could live with all of these problems if the ice cream was good, but it’s not. I have been here about 5 times, trying different things each time, and I have never been pleased. I ordered a vanilla shake a month or 2 ago My wife and I each took a sip and we threw it right in the garbage. It was thin, watery, and it tasted like chemicals. More recently I decided to give it another try. I ordered one of the soft ice creams with candy mixed in. I figured, how could you possibly screw that up? Well, once again I took a bite and threw it right in the garbage. It was way to sweet and again it tasted like chemicals. I am really hoping this place will get their act together and figure out what is wrong with the ice cream. Get it tasting somewhat good and I will be your best customer. For now, since there are no ice cream places close by, I will have to stick with Mc Donalds or 7 Eleven. MB I

Nice little ice cream spot. The staff is friendly. The best part is the large amount of outdoor seating to hang out. The train station is across the street so you their is plenty of people watching you can do. The prices are pretty reasonable too

Quaint but the place has a strange smell inside. Had the caramel pretzel ice cream. Was great. Nice area to sit and watch the cars and trains pass. All flavors aren’t in the cases. I didn’t know until after I ordered that more flavors were available and were listed in a place that wasn’t noticeable. I am happy with my choice but would have gotten something else on the hidden list.

No Gelato here. The ice cream was good, comparable to most other local ice cream shops. The signs say Homemade Ice Cream but it doesn’t seem like anything is made on location, perhaps I’m wrong.

A small neighborhood ice cream shop with really good homemade ice cream and ices. And their chocolate fudge brownie ice cream is truly excellent. Beyond the ice cream, what now puts this place over the top this year is their expanded beautifully landscaped patio, complete with little kid sized picnic tables and a grassy lawn for the kids to run aound on after ingesting all that sugar, while parents can sit back, relax and enjoy a nice summer evening in the great outdoors.
