I spend thousands at this store a year on TVs and computers for work. For a rebate they sent me a gift card $ 100 short of the amount it was supposed to be for. Then I went to use it and they wouldn’t honor it. Terrible customer service line. I will try my luck at Best Buy, HHGregg will not see my business anymore.

So far so good. Went in and did notice at least 12 employees standing around by the cashier area just talking and having a good old time… but there weren’t too many customers anyways somewhat understandble. Did have 3 employees greeting us and assisting in a prompt manner to help us get what we wanted. Very clean and organized. When purchasing a washer and dryer the paperwork went smooth and we were notified of different prices for things such as installment and deliveries on Saturday. Would come again pics are posted for examples.

My experiences with HHGreg has been very negative. I bought an icomfort mattress. I was told I would be getting a matching bed frame that is made just for the icomfort. What got was just a mattress and box spring. When I called my sales person, he asked if i signed for it? When I said yes, I was told that is all I was getting. I have called and emailed many times and their reply, so what we stole your money

We recently purchase our new Whirlpool Side by side refrigerator at this store. We found the entire process to be top notch. During Tax free appliance/Presidents day sale weekend in Maryland, We walked in the store, saw the refrigerator section and turned right. Within minutes a very helpful man in a suit came to us, and asked us if we needed help, and answered some questions for us. He then invited one of his sales associates. His sales person, MItra H. was extremely helpful, and knowledgeable. We told her our size restrictions, what brands we were looking for, and our price range. She then walked us over to each fridge she had that met our criteria, checked if our area was within the delivery range, and gave us prices. Ultimately we ended up buying a little Whirlpool side by side, with an indoor ice and water dispenser, because we liked the size(smaller), and Mitra gave us a good price on the stainless steel model. After Mitra quoted us a price, she took us up to the very busy register, where again to our surprise, we were given very good service by the cashier. She gave us everything we needed, including extra copies of our sales receipt for our BGE credit(without us asking). She was professional, and explained everything we needed. Our cashier was X979. After purchase, I started to look for reviews on hhgregg appliances, and was VERY disappointed to find that hhgregg in general has a rating of F with the better business bureau. The strange thing is, they are listed as starting business under that name in 1953, and I think the first time a bbb file was opened was in 2007. This told me that they probably have a track record of good business practices, and only lately they have been having issues. Looking through news articles, I found that hhgregg has recently been expanding, so I think the bad reviews might be growing pains. Meaning since they are expanding so quickly(as of this writing, they are opening up lots of new stores, and had a profit last year of 1.4 billion dollars) I became anxious about the deliver, but I NEEDNOTBE. The delivery was again, surprisingly TOPNOTCH. 1. They called me the day before to confirm delivery for the next day, and said they would call the following day between 6 to 8am to give me a delivery time. 2. They called at 7am to tell me my time slot was 9am to 12pm. 3. They called me at 9:40am to tell me they would be there in approximately 40 minutes. 4. After showing up in 35 minutes, both delivery men where very nice, personable, an professional. 5. They handled my UNDENTED, and UNMARKEDUP new refrigerator professionally, and with care. 6. They handled my home with care. No scratches on my hard wood flooring. 7. The process was quick, efficient, and professional. Based upon this experience, I would have to say I would buy from Mitra, and this Towson store again in a minute. I appreciated the good customers service in the store, and the delivery. From the store, manager, sales associate, and the deliver men, this experience was 5 stars out of 5. Mark :)
