The best part of planning my wedding happened at M’Jourdelle. I am so thankful I stumbled upon this tiny boutique in downtown Towson to find the wedding dress of my dreams!!! The most admirable part of this company is that the owner does it all. From finding the perfect dress to altering it to fit, I couldn’t be happier and recommend this cute shop to all brides-to-be! Where else can you go and have the owner get her hands dirty and hem, alter, and hand wash your dress? I’ve had numerous personal training clients toss away 100s of dollars days before the wedding bc most companies send out the dresses for alterations. This is stress not needed leading up to a wedding. As a business owner myself, I look up to Dahlia for staying in business for 22 years and living by the motto, «I’m happy when my bride is happy!» Thank you M’Jourdelle!

Tiny, camped, unpleasant, grungy, old… Are all the words that come to mind when walking in this boutique, but when you’re a bride you will do the most unthinkable things to find your perfect wedding dress! So I bit the bullet gave this place a shot, and to my surprise they have a wide range of dress for decent prices(because obviously their not putting money into the look and ambiance of the facility). I can get over a lot of things, but I can not get over how I call and get no answer, leave voicemails get no reply, I don’t live nearby if it wasn’t for my awesome maid of honor who went by their I would thought they closed down. I was told my dress will be in the beginning of March, that fine bc my wedding isn’t until May 3rd but here it is the end of March and you tell me it won’t be here until the middle of April. Why couldn’t someone have reached out earlier, why did we have to track y’all down. I pray that when it gets here it fits like a glove or someone is going to feel my wrath, because this bride is not taking any prisoners. Your dress is so important, please learn from me, don’t overlook anything. If they don’t care about their appearance and they don’t care about you.

I would NEVER use this dress shop again! I had to in the first place for a wedding I was in but since the first day of working with this shop I have been disappointed! Don’t bother making an appointment because when I did, I was shoved upstairs in a tiny room to look at the messy collection of dresses even though I told them multiple times I knew what dress I had to try on and buy. They of course couldn’t find the dress and then a week later lost my measurements along with those of another bridesmaid. Terrible, terrible customer service. Inconvenient parking and location. Small and very unorganized place. Save your time and go somewhere else!

Love this place! Gale is fantastic and funny! I love my dress! They are reasonable with their prices and so down to earth. They are not your typical pretentious bridal store.

WOW. I had not even THOUGHT of what the other reviewer mentioned about the copy/knock-off dresses, but that makes SO much sense when thinking about my own experience. I stopped in with one of my bridesmaids to take a look at dresses, and there are tons upon tons of samples crammed in this overstuffed store, and she was pressured into trying just about every one of the«samples» in various sizes. Really it seems more like a bunch of unwanted dresses that have been worn, discarded, and stuffed in this house-turned-store. The place is dirty, and I don’t want to kill business for anyone, normally, but I strongly urge you to steer clear. The woman(working alone that day, of course) kept insisting any dress could come in any color, any fabric, etc, which is EXACTLY what those«copy» sites do. She didn’t know the prices for any dress, nothing has a tag, etc. We felt like we had to sneak/run out because every time we tried to leave she would reappear with a dress.

This teeny tiny store is extremely cramped and overflowing with dresses — so much so that you can barely move around when more than a handful of people are inside. But if you can get past the lack of breathing room, and no frills décor and service, you may be pleasantly surprised with the selection and pricing. Just a few things to note: 1) Service was shaky — granted, the attendee was by herself that day but she was overly frazzled and not able to recall the different styles of dresses in the store in order to pull other options to try on. Also, at one point, a customer stopped in because she received a call about her dress arriving and the employee told her she couldn’t just stop in unannounced and she refused to measure her for alterations. 2) Be prepared to try on more dresses than you may want to — I went in there with a pretty good idea of what style I wanted, and despite that, the attendant kept bringing in dresses that«everyone loves and looks good in and therefore I would too.»
