I was having a surprise party for my husband and contacted them in advance about having three cookie cakes with 3 different designs made. I had someone picking them up for me as we were flying in from out of town. I had contacted the manager for his help and Dimitri at the time was very helpful. Day of pick up my friend calls me and let’s me know that only one cake was ready at the agreed time of pick up and it would be another hour for the other two. Dimitri who was the problem at this point said«he had other thing to take care of» and cakes were now late. Well we just had them scribble happy birthday on and my friend left. I contacted Dimitri about a partial refund for the cakes that were not complete and he wanted to mail me another cake. No thanks I am not sure the cake would survive the steamy Arizona mail system. Have not heard back. Get a cookie cake anywhere else… Unless of course your party has a flexible date/time and you like the toddler scribbled on my cake decoration style!!!

I love me some Great Cookie. I just wish the texture of the cookies were consistent. Some were hard and others were soft and chewy. That unbeatable texture that no one can complete with. If the cookies are hard you might as well throw those bad boys out! The snickerdoodles are the shit. Never had one even remotely similar to GC. I hate cinnamon but it’s the perfect blend. Usually snickerdoodles are too cinnamony. I no longer order them outside of GC to avoid disappointment. Get ready to spend some dough. I always try to get a pound to last me in NYC but they lose that chewy texture within a few days. The bucket is $ 2 extra which I don’t remember paying for in the past but did so without a problem. A pound can easily run you $ 15. The girl behind the counter was nice and patient lol. I had her shaving off cookies when I realized I had to pay for the bucket. I refuse to pay $ 20 for cookies. I already felt crazy paying $ 15!

Always a line. Cookies are always so good. Snickerdoodle is the best.
