Still a small Boost Mobile store, but they have improved a lot over the months in quality and selection. I was having trouble sending and receiving messages on my HTC One, so I took it in here to see what they could do. The guy who helped me was super friendly and didn’t try to get me into buying or upgrading any of my data plans like most other companies try to do. I use to have verizon as my carrier and one of the things I hated most is when you’d walk into their store and immediately one of the employees would be trying to get you to buy accessories and all this other crap. Not here though. They managed to fix my phone without any hassle and for a fee that didn’t break my wallet thankfully. Their selections of phones are still somewhat limited, but most of the major phone brands that you’d expect are available here. Just call in ahead of time if your curious to find out what they carry.

My boyfriend and I recently purchased a phone from this company last month… for one, the phone sucks because you can barely hear on it, even when volume is all the way to the max… but, that is the least of our problems! This month, my boyfriends service was due for payment, so he went in to pay his $ 52.00 payment for the month and the next day he woke up to his phone being out of service. So he went back, and spoke to «managment» some young girl, I don’t recall her name, but she was very rude. He said, «hey, my phone doesn’t work, you must have put it on the wrong number»… Which she did, and then she was nasty with him saying, «Oh, you must have made the mistake, because if I made a mistake, then its going out of my paycheck.» Are you frickin kidding me? He told her, «No, I gave you my phone number, and my friend who was with me confirmed the number right after words just so we were clear on what the number was. I’m sorry you have to eat it, but it wasn’t my fault.» So she had a crappy attitude and finally got his service back on. Then apparantly my boyfriend thought he had change coming back because he didnt get his plan he signed up for on the phone, so she asked if there was anything else. He said he was waiting on his change. And she said, «It looks like you have to eat it. We both lose out on this one.» After this month is over, I am going to get his plan on with Metro like mine, because I don’t seem to have problems there.

New cell phone store in the same shopping plaza as Mi Pueblo. Hubby and I stopped in here in hopes they had a demo of the Samsung Galaxy s4 as it’s release was announced last Thursday. However, they didn’t have any. Booo. Store is of average size with maybe 20 different phones on display all of which are prepaid, packages starting at $ 30. Coverage isn’t at all impressive for any of the bay area.
