Cathy Ann’s Party Rentals

Was a little apprehensive making a call here to order my tables and chairs, as I see that this is the same company as Party Warehouse and Party Rental and they had some pretty negative reviews. So far, the person on the line was very polite, professional, and friendly. Prices were good. I am able to pick up the items a couple of days in advance and drop off a couple of days after, which I like. Crossing my fingers that the rest of the experience is just as good.

I called in and was able to get tables and chairs for a party I was having when I needed to get equipment not when the owner decided to come to work like other company’s in town. Staff was nice and loaded up my truck too.

First impression was nice selection of stuff. Owner was a decent guy. He answered all my questions and even had some information on prices that didn’t reflect on the price sheet. One of the workers there seemed a bit off. I asked him multiple questions and he just stared at me with a blank look. Nevertheless, my wife and I went down there the next day to rent some DJ equipment and the transaction went fairly smooth. My wife’s impression of all the 20 year olds working there were, «they are all high!» LOL! They basically have all kinds of things to rent for every occasion with fairly decent prices. Now the quality of their equipment could be questionable. The blank stare guy was an ok guy the next day I returned everything. I guess he was sobered up. But yes if you rent equipment on a saturday, they are not open on sunday to return the stuff so you have to do it on monday before 5 pm. In my case it wasn’t a bad thing. I just had some more time to play around with the disco lights.

I always feel like I am bothering the person at the counter when I go there to pick up the expensive rentals my wife picked out,. So yeah, you go there to shell out tons of $$ and they act put out. Also… Closed Sundays!!! WTF?!? You rent something on Saturday wanting to return on Sunday because you have to work on Monday, but wait,. now you need to leave work early so you can get home, pack the stuff up and get it to them by 5:00pm when they close, VERY FRUSTRATING.
They have good selection.
