On second thought… This place is going down… The tables are filthy… to say the least… wiping them with a wet rug DOESNOTREMOVETHEOILSANDGREASE accumulated over the years… your arms stick on the tables… Very NOTHYGIENIC… stuff everywhere… and then grabbed with bare hands and put in the bins… Cooks…sweating allover the place… …and you people think Walmart needs«antibacterial wipes»…yeah right…

The food was amazing! Definitely understaffed and somewhat small but overall service was great. Only problem for me was the long wait to cook the food but once you get over that it’s a good place to try atleast once.

Previous regular customer, but won’t be back. If you decide to go, I recommend not eating the meat.

Came here two nights ago with my friend. Staff is very friendly and the inside is clean. I like the idea of being able to choose what veggies and meat you want in your bowl, and how much of it you want. It was actually pretty busy the night I came, but the staff was able to seat us as soon as our food was finished cooking. Along with your bowl of noodles, they give a small bowl of rice and some egg soup-which was pretty yummy, and these cute semi-sweet biscuits. Me and my friend enjoyed our food a lot and let the woman in the front know that their customer service was really good too. I would definitely come back for more :)

Friendly service, fast and fresh food. The perfect quick meal just off the freeway. We got there 20 minutes before closing but weren’t rushed at all and the veggies all still looked fresh. They were even happy to restock a low item for us. I’ll tag this place for a future stop.

Love, love this place! The staff is friendly and the choices of meat and veggies are great. I love the chicken with brussel sprouts, not a noodles fan but my husband is. They have about 10(maybe more) choices of sauces, I never really no what I’m doing there but I just try anything and so far its turned out fine.

We just left here and we were very disappointed in this place. The wait time to have your food cooked was 30+ min. We had one bowl and left never went back for 2nd because the wait time was ridiculous the line to have your food cooked was almost near our table. They only had 1 cook on the line. Never coming back here again.

This was my first time trying Mongolian BBQ and I have to give it 5 stars. This place was amazing! All of the staff were extremely friendly and the food was very fresh and tasty. I was a little skeptical about trying this place at first only because some of the reviews weren’t all that great, but after trying it… I am definitely going back. My 5 year old son loved this place so much he keeps asking when we’re going back.

It’s healthier than fast food I guess but if tofu tastes sour that is not a good sign. All the thin frozen meat just isn’t too appetizing for me. Kids like wrapping stuff and sweet plum sauce though… Maybe my timing wasn’t good.

As far as Mongolian BBQ goes this place is mediocre at best. It’s standard fare with sauces meats and noodles from you to choose from. The problem is without the right tables mongolian BBQ can all taste the same and this place suffers from that problrm. the flavor is questionable and the meats looked under-refridgerated but I think thus had more to do with the fact that when we came in it was dead. It’s decent but far from good. Given its in Tracy however there’s not many other choices

Prior to this week, the last time I had Mongolian BBQ was in China. This was a fantastic improvement. I feel like this place should average 4 star reviews easily and I am surprised it only has 3. The price is more than reasonable ~ For lunch I spent under $ 12 for a bowl of BBQ {more on that later :)} soup, eggroll and a soda! The restaurant was clean and well organized. All the containers were stocked with food. If you don’t eat your first bowl, they give you a container to take it home in and if you have a healthy appetite, you can go back as many times as you like. Staff does get busy, but this is a busy place and no wonder with good food at good prices. I will definitely be back!

I’ve seen this place so many times but never thought to try it. I finally went and man I wanted to slap myself for waiting so long. I recommend going for dinner if you want to eat a lot, as is buffet time at dinner. They offer plenty of meats and vegetables to put with your noodles and a plethora of sauces to customize your flavor to suit your craving. The only thing I don’t like is the self serve atmosphere always brings to mind dirty people who don’t wash their hands, and kids with germs!

Delicious! Although they can work on not dropping half of the noodles while cooking it. But overall, it is amazing. You just need to know what to put in it. I put in all of the sauces and garlic powder.

Food is amazing and it is fun to put together your bowl, pick your sauces and watch them bbq your food in front of you! Needs to be cleaner, I think. I think the service was alright and music good. The atmosphere is a bit dark, the soup and rice is good. I wish they had descriptions of the sauce flavors and the prices available to see. But I super loved the food. Wish the place was kept better.

I’ve been here one time before today. That time, I was with my daughters for lunch. Today, I went in for a late lunch, but it was actually dinner time on their clock. I’m assuming that the prices go up a little bit for dinner. Now, I couldn’t eat more than one bowl of noodles from this place, so people that can eat multiple bowls, props to you! You walk in and they take your drink order right away. I just went with a glass of water, I’ve been trying to stay away from soda. Then you go over and put your bowl together. I came here because I love noodles and meat… that’s pretty much it. Today, I went with pork, I’m not sure why… it just looked better than the beef to me. I added a bunch of noodles with some water chestnuts and mushrooms, that’s it in the veggie department. Then I added the sauces that they suggest on the board above. I feel like I put multiple scoops of teriyaki sauce on mine. I love sauce… ranch, marinara, bbq… if I can dip something in a sauce, I usually will. They also have the garlic oil, which I love because I am a huge garlic fan! Don’t worry, I always carry gum with me :) By the time your order is done cooking on the grill, the wait staff has your table ready with your drink, fried won tons, soup and some other pastry… which I’m not quite sure what it was. I took a bite of it, but wasn’t a huge fan of it. That was the only thing that I didn’t eat today. My amount of sauce was a good choice, it was cooked just like how I like my noodles. There was actually a good amount of people eating there when I went in, I just happened to make it in a few seconds before everyone. I noticed that they were having a contest to post on their IG account. Businesses now are all trying to build up their social media accounts. I probably would have done it if my kids were with me, but I would have felt pretty silly taking a selfie by myself in front of the grill. The waitress was good, she made sure that my drink was filled up, walking around and clearing off dishes as needed from tables. When you’re done, you go up front and you pay. I think that it’s a little weird of a system, but whatever works. Dinner is $ 11.50, I believe. Plus a few dollars for tips, it’s overall a good and filling meal. I will come here whenever I need a noodle fix in a quick amount of time, at a good price.

One word: Yuck! I’ve been wanting to check this place out and it was not that great. For being my first time I had high hopes based on other Unilocalers reviews. To start off, I went during lunch time and the meat area looked empty. Some of the meat trays were half empty and not refilled. The noodles looked ok and the vegetable selection was plenty. They also have a large sauce selection. Now here’s the bad: 1: went into the men’s restroom and it was disgusting!!! Someone made a huge mess(no need to explain what they did) and it was not clean. 2: rice side dish was over cooked and hard. Not that great. 3: my noodle dish was good but a bit over cooked. Now here’s the good: 1: large selection /menu 2: staff is very friendly 3: prices are reasonable. I will probably not go to this place again. What a let down.

SUMMARY: ran across this chain on Unilocal & decided to go check it out… AYCE mongolian bowls for $ 9.95($ 7.95 lunch, 1 bowl)…u can add shrimps for $ 2.99… if u dunno how mongolian grills work, u put together your selection of meats/noodles/vegs/sauces from a raw buffet for them to cook on a griddle… big, round one at this place… which the cooks walk your ingredients around… neat to watch… see my pix… DETAILS: hard to notice the signage… missed the place driving by… it’s at the end of a tiny strip mall with jus a few stores, which were already closed by 8p… we turned left onto a dirt road & had to jump the car off the curb to get to the back parking lot… the whole strip seemed closed cuz very few cars… quiet lot = dead resto on a sat nite…1 person finishing up & another came to get togo… k, about the food… as u walk up to the raw buffet bar, u may notice the rule to use 1 bowl per trip…& they were small… we tried to use a big one, but the dishwasher came aftr us saying«nono, those are for togo orders» & made us switch… can’t pile on much frozen meat slices(turkey, pork, beef, chix), noodles, various veggies, sauces & oils… whatevers…when done, u hand off your mix for them to cook while u watch… then u bring your finished bowl to the table a waitress set up with soup, rice, fried wonton [skin] w/sweet & sour sauce, & sesame biscuit… soda w/refills $ 2… NUTSHELL: i knew i couldn’t eat too many bowls(2)…hrs aftr & i still had heartburn for some reason, which i seldom get… tummy wasn’t feelin’ too great the rest of the nite either :-/… eh, good to try, but not likely to return… might be better as a lunch thing if you’re in the area… Ghibggis Khan Mongolian BBQ also has other locays(Stockton x2, Manteca, Modesto, & coming soon to Roseville)…better off going to Golden Corral nearby for a couple bucks more if u r lookin’ for AYCE…

I come to this establishment on a regular basis, I would say at least once a month. I showed up on this occasion coming straight from work. I was met at the door by a waitress that kindly seated my group and myself. She took our drink order and I excused myself to use the facilities to wash my hands. The group of people I was with proceeded to begin building their bowls, while I walked over to the restroom located at the back of the Resturant. When I reached the restroom, I reached for the handle to find it locked. I patiently waited while the individual inside finished there business. Suddenly I heard the toilet flush, and within five seconds, the door swung open. I didn’t think anything of it at the time, and proceeded into the restroom. When I attempted to wash my hands I found that they didn’t have any soap in the soap dispenser. Frustrated, but hungry I rinsed my hands off and then head back out into the dining area. As soon as I broke the corner, I seen the guy that exited the restroom after flushing, but without washing his hands obviously without soap. He was now wearing a apron and was handling the food, refilling the condiments. I sat down and contemplated about saying something to the management, and decided that I didn’t want to get anyone in trouble. I had a change of heart while I was paying for my meal and noticed a family that had just entered the Resturant and we’re heading for the condiments that were being restocked by the who, but old stinky pinky!!! I proceeded to ask the cashier who was in charge and she pointed out the manger. I explained the issue to him and expressed my concerns, to which he replied,” huh”. I would strongly considered not eating at this establishment for a while.

I love to slip into here for lunch. Being able to pick my own food makes me feel virtuous. I usually go for the beef, but chicken, pork, turkey, and tofu are also an option. You can bulk up on the veggies, or skip them altogether. It is entirely up to you. I like playing with the sauce combos. I also really like watching the cooks work the flat top. I could really do without the soup(mostly cabbage) and egg roll they give you, but appreciate the bottomless soda. It’s always clean, and never too crowded. Service is good considering its a mixed model(some self serve and some table service). For about $ 12 including tip, you get a very hearty lunch or modest dinner. Spring an entrance $ 2 and you can get shrimp. Yum,!
