I decided to write a review on my «service» today especially after seeing the reviews! I myself have worked retail over 5 yrs so I totally understand the«doing 35 things at once» if there is a shortage of staff that is obviously a manager staffing issue I did have Sahara I believe I’m spelling it correct she was beyond amazing listened to my issues with past primers she even asked me to list my routine so she can get the right products for me yea a couple customers came a bought stuff or asked for question but she resumed to the«demo» over all I bought all the products she used she was over all amazing yes maybe they should hire more people but regarding the makeup service it was great If you have no patients or have time to wait 5 – 10 min call and make in appointment ahead of time

I do not buy from MAC but today I went to pick up foundation for my mom. When I walked to the area, the rep was just standing at the counter doing whatever she was doing and then another customer walks by. I waited about 5 minutes before she noticed me, she didn’t even say hello. I told her exactly what I wanted. A foundation in N35. Since they have many foundations, I had to call my mom to double check. Which took a minute, exactly one minute, and she left to help another customer, whom didn’t even know what she wanted. I waited for about 15 minutes before a Clinique rep came over and helped me, right after she was done with her client. I told her what I wanted, she grabbed it for me, which is when the MAC rep finally decided to come back over to help me. The Clinique rep checked me out afterwards, apologizing for how long it took for me to get help. The MAC rep didn’t even say a word. This visit should have taken 5 minutes at the most, and it took about 25. Very disappointed. Maybe it was because I was a teenager, but that gave her no right to treat me so rudely. I am a customer. I am spending my money for your product.

WOW!!! No customer service. The lady took the phone call instead of the customer in front of her…(waiting already for 10mins).She could’ve asked to call the phone call back and attend to her customers or at least signal us or something to let us know she saw us. She lost two customers in five minutes! Me and the other person that walked away… Will go on line to shop!!!

I was pretty dissapointed with the service I got here. You see, all I asked for was for someome to show me how to do my brows and reccomend a few blushes/brow kits. They were a litte busy so I scheduled a time later that day to come back. I brought quite a bit of cash to drop on a few products if I liked them. I never got the chance. The girl who took me down for an appointment was busy doing someone elses makeup when I got there at my scheduled time. No biggie. 20 min pass and finally another girl approached me saying she could do a «quick demo» but she said she was going to have to help other customers in between. Ummmm, okay? So i sit down, another 10 min pass. I got up and left. Worse service at a makeup counter I have ever received. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

Went to macy’s to check out foundation and decided to give mac a try. I was ready to spend some serious moolah until i spoke to their sales rep. She was the rudest ever. I was trying to look for a moisturizing foundation and she was not helpful at all. im a skin care, make up fanatic so i know my stuff, she tried giving me advice on how i should exfoliate more because of my skin being dry and peeling… ughh duhh you dont exfoliate dry skin d#@$ a$$. One thing i did forget to do was get her name. and the way her make up was done was awful, you could see serious caking and acne scars. i shouldve known better not to ask help from someone who cant even do their face right. Whoever worked on the morning of Jan. 21st thats her! Beware! You give mac a bad name!

Quite disappointed. Came in and had to wait almost 2 hours. She would start then stop. Work on another face then came back when convenient for her. I seen others girls working and they would complete one task at a time. Cannot say the same for the young lady I worked with. I do understand that trying to help everyone but it comes to a point where you just can do 45 different things.
