Nails Express

This nail salon is OUTSTANDING! So glad I found them!
I moved to Tracy a short while ago and was lucky to find this place. The workmanship and attention to detail are excellent. They are a friendly, accommodating husband and wife team (Mimi & Dam) who take pride in their work. The best part is that the price range is exceptionally low! I’ve had my nails and toes done everywhere from New York to San Francisco and they are so impressive, I won’t go anywhere else. That’s really saying something because I have very high standards.
Last time I was there I showed them a picture of a design I wanted on my toes after a pedicure. They literally looked at the image once and it was done exactly as pictured in 3 minutes flat! Husband has an uncanny ability to select colors that look great on each client — I really mean that and if you don’t believe me, test him out!

Got my first manicure and pedicure here today and I am quite pleased with the results. Mimi took good care of me with her expertise and nice massages on my legs, feet, hands and arms. My feet feel amazing and I enjoyed talking to her as well. Great deal for $ 25

I only get Pedicures, I can’t wear nails at my job. So with that said, I get plenty of Pedis, I came here one evening and Dam (male owner) was very nice, he is friendly and does a great job. He doesn’t rush like many of the other Nail Salons. His message is wonderful. I’ve been back twice since and I live out of town but work in Tracy. I would recommend Dam and his pedis to anyone that love to get there toes done. I have never had any Artwork done here but I will the next time… You will not be sorry if you go to Dam. Take it from me a Lady that Loves Her Pedicures!

I love how Dam does my pedicure. He massages for a while and he takes his time. So far this is a great place in Tracy. Will definitely come back

So I literally just left this shop. Decided to try it out only because it’s so close to my house. Overall it was. Ok just ok. Not great not bad. There was nobody in the place so I got helped right away. There was a man and a woman and the man did my nails. Started normal nothing wrong. When he started applying the acrylic it was like flying primer and powder everywhere. He was so messy. I asked him if he could be a little neater and it’s like he ignored me. I asked him again and I guess he just didn’t understand me because he was like no it’s ok. No dude it is not ok. Messy is not cute. Anyway the end product is ok. But listen to your customers. It wasn’t a welcoming place but whatever it was a cheap set and they’re decent. Seeing how the grow out is key as well.
But I will be checking out other local shops since this one didn’t win my business.

I went there a month ago. The man did ok on my nails, they were kind of crooked when he was done and the gel didn’t dry all the way between coats which made it set bumpy. I have three stars not for the job on my nails, because that’s a 1 star, but I enjoyed the man who helped me. Very friendly and personable. I liked him not the place lol

I walked in the other day hoping to get a service done, since I was in the area. But my experience there wasn’t so pleasant…
I wanted to get a fill (acrylic nails) and the new color I had chosen was different from what I had on. The lady explained to me that there will still be a residue from my old color, I questioned her why (because my original nail tech from Bella’s normally files everything down smooth, to which your nails look natural again and then apply the new powder tip and base). The lady began speaking non-​sense and was lacking self confidence.
Me: it’s ok then, I’ll just go somewhere else. Thank you
Her: let me try one nail
Me: no it’s fine. Because if you mess up I don’t want to walk out with one nail done and 9 grown out nails.
*grabs my hand and observe the color
She keeps insisting to try on one nail.
Me: no it’s fine I’ll just go somewhere else…
Me: can you get go of my hand
*she continues to hold on to my hand
I had to literally yank my hand away from her even after telling her numerous times to let go…
I ended up not getting any service, my low rating is due to the conflict I had with a nail tech there.
P. S. I walked in with baby pink glitter tips and wanted to walk out with purple.
I will continue my service at bellas even if I have to drive cross town

Went in on a Sunday and it was great, I was the only one in there so it was nice and quiet and they did my mani/​pedi super fast but still great! $ 25 so it was a good price, and I’m in love with the color I picked. will definitely return…
people in Tracy need to Unilocal more!!! get on it people !!

PROS: Inexpensive compared to most salons in Tracy. I went on a Wednesday. They have special pricing Mon-​Weds (example: $ 28 for mani/​pedi).
I got acrylic tips with gel. It only cost $ 35 with any design on the tips (glitter, crushed pearly sand, etc). A pedicure was an added $ 18, again, with any design on the big toe. The pedicure included a full scrub and massage. Felt nice.
The clear gel on my nail bed was clean without bubbles or dust.
CONS: 1) It took longer than I’d expect. About 2hrs. But overall, was a decent place for the price… 2) The décor was not a spa-​like atmosphere, but still ok.

Tina has been doing my nails for 7 years. I love her and will follow her anywhere. Which i have.
