We decided to give this place a try a few months back. The service was pretty bad and the food was even worse. They have a pretty unique and cool location if they could just fix the other issues. Definitely had a family run type of feel, which is usually nice, but not when they’re having family drama and you get to hear about it while trying to relax

I was impressed. Far better than your average bar and grill. The food was very good and everything was nicely presented. The attractive young blonde who waited on us was very attentive, friendly and a nice conversationalist. We tried the deep fried olives(with a light cornmeal breading) which was something new for me(and very good). The whole place was a nice surprise and we look forward to coming back.

Again a great meal for the right price. Thank you Paul the best fish and chips I’ve ever had, and thank you Jessica for suggesting the special. Plenty of food and great service you know me I’ll be back hungry for more :).

We have an island over at the Tracy Oasis Marina and often go to the Oasis Bar and Grill. Have to say that their new chef Paul is AWESOME!!! Best food we’ve ever had out here in 10 years. Love the laid back atmosphere and the friendly service.

If the frustrations of the day are about to implode within your psyche, and if you happen to work in Tracy, escape is only 15 minutes away. The Oasis Bar and Grill, also a working tackle type shop and marina, is the kind of whole in the wall place that you hope will never be «discovered». Don’t come here expecting to have a quick eat and run type of meal. This is the place were you come to savor the food and be calmed by the tranquil setting. It’s a one person operation in terms of serving, cleaning and taking your orders and one other person doing the cooking. The wait is worth it. My friend ordered crab cakes which came with a side of spring greens, marinated peppers, feta and a slightly zippy vinaigrette. Perfect ratio of crab to veggie mix and perfectly fried. I had the battered fish which came with onion rings, fries and zippy marinated asparagus. Portions were very generous for the $ 9.50 cost. There was a good variety on the menu and you could go as healthy or, as I did, as unhealthy as you want. This is by far the best battered fried fish, rings and fries I’ve had. Crisp on the outside, and totally grease-less on the inside. Service was friendly, efficient and helped make the lunch experience even more pleasant than the quality of the food had already made it. They have brunch on Saturday and Sunday. The oil they used was definitely fresh and ingredients were high quality. No old stuff or cheap brands. The server noted all is local(lockford sausages) and made in the USA. Parking is on the road, limited and if you are handicapped, be sure to go in through the tackle shop to avoid needing to take the stares to the restaurant part. Also, don’t drive drunk here, because the road is the dike and it is a bit narrow and crumbling at the edges – all part of the charm. The place itself is very clean, well organized. Patio is great for larger groups too.

Very nice staff… great food. Sat outside– normally would be a good choice in July, but it was a little cool this evening. Only draw back was that they do not have any heaters outside. The ambiance inside looked great– will sit inside next time.
