Trails End Resort Motel

Beware travelers…
My friend and I stayed at the trails end motel looking for a less expensive option on the beach. We expected the quality to be lower than that of a hotel, but we never expected it to be this horrendous. To begin with, the light outside the room was not functioning. There were exposed wires and 2 broken outlet boxes (insert photos here). We didn’t feel comfortable walking around barefoot and even showered (concealed behind the worlds most disgusting, stained brown, shower curtin) wearing sandals. The drawers were broken. There were ants crawling on the walls, furniture, bed… you name it. There were random, slightly creepy, people living there, because as it turns out this little gem is also an apartment complex. We did speak with the general manager. After telling him all the problems we encountered and saying we didn’t think it was worth the $ 110 we paid his response was, «What do you think it’s worth?». He ended up taking $ 20 off a night, nice gesture, but still not worth $ 90 a night. Avoid at all costs. Pay the extra money, stay at a real hotel.
