I love this joes ! The pizza is hot and delicious! The crust is crispy just the way I like it. Not to fond of the emmaus one because I’ve had a few experiences with rude staff. This one will stay my favorite :-)

I really like the«Grandma’s» pizza, which is basically thin and square with a lot of sauce. Joe’s has probably one of the biggest selections of «specialty» slices around. The regular plain pizza is nothing special but not bad. They do a lot of business around lunch hour during the week but there is never a problem getting a table in my experience. The only negative I’ve noticed, sometimes when you order from a slice pie and they put it in the oven, they take it out way too soon when the place is busy. Check it before you walk back to the table with it.

Been going to Joes since we moved out to Macungie back in 2005. Their pizza is the best around. Very fresh ingredients and a good crust to match.

Came with my niece. She had grandma pizza and she said it was very good. I had a slice of plain and a slice of white tomato. The plain was ok. The whittle tomato was gross… It was soggy, overloaded with garlic and the tomatoes were barely pink.

Low-rent…Place needs a good cleaning. I’ve heard some locals like it here – for whatever that’s worth. Zero style points. I think the food is fair-to-good at best.

I’ve eaten at Joe’s a bunch of times. And have had food from every location. They are always consistent with making great food. My last visit I ordered 2 cheesesteaks one California style and one California style with no lettuce or tomato. I asked for pickles and hot peppers on the side. My order was made fresh and just the way I asked. The ingredients taste fresh and are good quality. But everyone knows that the difference between a good cheesesteak and a great cheesesteak comes down to the roll. Joe’ uses great bread. Crispy and chewy a perfect compliment to the veggies meat and cheese. I recommend Joe’s if you’re ever in the Lehigh Valley.

I grew up on Joe’s. I remember when the strip mall was actually a strip mall. I remember being confused when they did construction and Joe’s got thrown to the end of the mall. I grew up eating the mess of a pizza that they create. I still enjoy it from time to time. Every once in awhile, I need that slice of home-grown comfort that is Joe’s. Even if you want something weird, like nacho pizza, they’ll have that for you. There are better things on the menu, however. If you’re in the mood for a cheesesteak, go here. No other joint in the area can sling a steak like these guys. Whenever I open the doors to this newly familiar restaurant, that’s what I go for. The pizza is so-so. You get what you ask for, and I often find myself adjusting seasonings when I get home with it. Don’t get me wrong — I’m not complaining. It’s just. ‘eh’. The cheesesteaks are phenomenal, though, and that’s the story I’m stickin’ to.

I was here on several occasions, the one that put me off the most is we were shopping in the local strip mall and decided to go here for lunch. It was early, they had just opened. Their selection of slice pies was already very large, which would be odd for an 11am ish just opened pizza place and as I looked at them, it was very very clear that the pizzas were not made recently, they were dry and clearly sitting out for some period of time. It’s possible they were refrigerated uncovered overnight, however, they looked very unappetizing. The restaurant itself was clearly not cleaned well and the area near the pizza ovens looked like it may have not been cleaned in weeks. I would suggest unless you are buying freshly made(and in front of you) pizzas that you look elsewhere, don’t buy the slices!

I took one bite of a slice of pepperoni pizza and I just KNEW that the owners were from Brooklyn, NY. Seriously, people in Lehigh Valley have no idea what good pizza is because if they did, this place would put all other places out of business. The pizza at this joint is freakin delicious! The cheese, the sauce, the crust even the place itself– it all just screams of an authentic NY pizzeria. It is now the ONLY place I go to in Lehigh Valley for my pizza fix.

8÷28÷2013 It’s been a long day of touring and the laundry had to get done. After the laundry the stomach said«eat.» Pizza sounded like a good idea for dinner. Pizza? The restaurant is in a small mall that is quite busy. The restaurant has you ordering from a menu board at the counter. You can take it with you or sit and eat in. We ate in. The 14″ pizza with cheese, sausage, mushroom and pepperoni was on the greasy side, had a thin crust with soft edges. The toppings had little flavoring. The grease was too much. The taste, bland. The restaurant was clean; the bathroom a bit dirtier than it should have been. The service and price was good and that is the only reason for the two stars.

When it comes to pizza in the T-town area, this is the place to go. Lots of interesting options, efficient service, and I have yet to try something I didn’t enjoy thoroughly. Although pizza is in the name of the restaurant, their Meat Lover’s Stromboli is actually my favorite meal. The medium could feed four and every bite is an assortment of flavors. You get a few cups of marinara to top it off, then Yowza!

I usually stop here for a slice of sicilian when I’m out stimulating the economy. I actually prefer the food at the Emmaus location, but this location is closer to my home. I’ve been buying pizza from this family for many years. Started going to Charlie’s(Joe’s wife’s father) in Whitehall about 25 years ago. I usually order pizza or a cheese steak(extra sauce on the side — the sauce is great), both of which are very good. The Emmaus location is very friendly, Trexlertown is all business– missing out on the customer connection which brings people back thru the door.

This pizza is very bland and flavorless. I’ve had it more than half a dozen times, so I know it’s not a fluke. Also a co-worker of mine had pizza here a few months ago and had a hair in her food. The workers seemed to care less and did not apologize or even offer her something else. Not the way to run a business.

Cold pizza every time I pick it up. Boring, bland, no sauce, bad cheese, horrible bland crust. I mean just really bad. Not worth a dime. Never again.

Best Cheesesteak I’ve ever had… even better than the ones in Philadelphia, which can only mean NYC isn’t even close. If you go there order a cheesesteak sandwich. I promise you will love it. The owners are friendly too.

Oh Joe’s pizza, just to give you an idea of how much my family has eaten here, they used to have these coupons on the boxes where you saved 10 and you got a free pizza… we’ve probably cashed in on at least 10 of those free pizzas. Joe’s was our go-to for friday night pizza night and in my house that’s usually one cheese pizza and a few large cheesesteaks! While I’m home I ALWAYS make a point to stop by Joe’s for a cheesesteak, it’s the perfect cheesesteak, I don’t know what they do but for some reason it comes out incredible, full of flavor and the right amount of juicy goodness. Joe’s is another place that has wrapped mine up in parts for me to save in my freezer and have on hand when I need my cheesesteak fix. So professional. It’s a family run place so expect to encounter the whole family when visiting, but that just adds to the experience for me. I’ve watched his kids grow up– from when he was located over where Kohl’s is now and then moved to the corner I’ve been a loyal Joe’s customer. If you want pizza in the area(or cheesesteaks) this is the place to come.

A family owned pizza joint. Service fair and food fair. Once again, it has what I call«PA Italian» pizza(basic crust and bland sauce). If you need a quick bite, worth stopping here. It is a counter service place and orders filled quite quickly.

Pretty tasty. Just wished they delivered. We had a large pepperoni pizza with mushrooms and onions on half. There were an insane amount of onions on it, which I loved because I enjoy an insane amount of onions. Crust was a little on the thick side, but nice and crispy on the outside and chest on the inside. FYI sauce is on the savory end of the spectrum. Yummy yummy!
