Love Primo hoagies! However we will not patronize this location again. Every time we place an order for pick up it is wrong. Today was no exception, however our order was taken by Bob the owner/manager. Bob was rude on the phone and was rude and dismissive when I checked the order when I picked it up. Will use the Cedar Crest location going forward.

The spicy turkey sub is my favorite. Black pepper turkey and pepper jack cheese and all your normal toppings on a hoagie plus the delicious sauce. I can never remember the name of the sandwich until I see it lol. Service is always great and the big pickles are very tasty along with the Mac salad. Workers are always very friendly and it is a clean environment. Definitely a good place to go to close to home. On the pricier side but you get what you pay for. Freshness and quality.

Philadelphia is the sandwich capital of the world. However, in the culinary wasteland of Trexlertown PA, people have the audacity to complain about this Philadelphia-based chain, which is the only respectable sandwich shop in town. If you feel Primo’s is «too expensive», I hope you walk over to Subway and get run over on the crosswalk. If you actually want a hoagie that, I don’t know, ACTUALLYHAS A CRUST, then go here. The taste between the two is incomparable, but if you feel Primo’s isn’t worth a few extra bucks, you should probably kill yourself. If you feel the service is «too slow», you don’t understand that a good sandwich requires a few minutes of prep. At Primo’s the meat for each sub is sliced-to-order. If you’re fine with slimy meat at Subway that’s been sitting out all day, by all means go there, you won’t be missed. If you feel the customer service is «too rude», it’s because you don’t know how to order a sandwich. Being a Philadelphia-based chain, it is expected that you have the mental capacity to specify: «for here vs. to go», size and fixings. They shouldn’t have to hold your hand; it’s just like the touchscreen at Wawa, but requiring your mouth. If you take issue with any of the above, you are a simpleton that doesn’t even have bad taste, you have no taste. If you want to stuff your face with the fastest, cheapest, crappiest food, be my guest, but I eagerly await your upcoming heart attack.

Beware of hidden charges! [Trexlertown location] I ordered«Ham & Cheese w/choice of cheese $ 7.99». After I was charged & signed slip, I was given an itemized receipt and was charged $ 8.99. When I asked why I was told that«some cheese has an extra charge». I said menu on wall reads«Ham & Cheese w/choice of cheese $ 7.99», guy just said«some cheese costs us extra». So how do I know which has an extra charge and which doesn’t? They also put oregano on my hoagie, which I did not ask for and was not on the receipt. $ 8.99 for a ham and cheese that can be had elsewhere for $ 5, nope I wont be going back.

Subs are not bad. I’ve tried a few of their varieties and nothing to complain about. Service was horrendous for their first few months. Just a bad joke at the customer’s expense. Speaking of expense, the price is over the top for a product that’s nothing fantastic. The crew’s teamwork has improved a bit recently, but they could learn a lot from the Subway across the strip.

Skip this place and go next door to 3 men and a bagel for a a good sandwich. We decided to try primos and were disappointed. The small hoagies were expensive and hardly even had any meat on them. One of my hoagies actually had a one inch piece of plastic in it… saran wrap? good thing i saw it and didn’t eat it. Even the tap water tasted crappy. Don’t waste your money.

Sitting here waiting for my chicken parmigiana hoagie to take home. It has been 20 minutes. Hard to believe it takes 20 minutes to prepare a hoagie. There was only 1 person in line ahead of me when I arrived. Finally ready. Only 24 minutes. Ugh.

I’ll start by saying this is our third time here. The first time we ate here a very rude customer came in behind us screaming and carrying on because he got the wrong sandwich. This customer butted in front of at least four of us in line and the owner did EVERYTHING possible to make this idiot happy. The owner didn’t care that the rest of us were very patiently waiting and never apologized to any of us for our inconvenience. The second time was a quick pick up that went smoothly. Today we waited in line behind ten or so people(we called in our order so all we had to do was pick it up). When we finally got to the register my husband very politely suggested to the owner that perhaps he could implement a separate line just for pick ups. The owner COMPLETELY ignored him and didn’t even respond. Meanwhile there were several employees in the back just standing around trying to figure out what to do. We will NOT be going back there again. We are only five minutes from this location but will make the 20 minute drive to the Allentown(Cedar Crest Blvd) location where the service is always excellent!
