This was my second time here yesterday, my boyfriend likes their DDR machines.
We went and he did some DDR, I did some as well and then got bored and started meandering around to see what other games I could play.
*To clarify: I’d give them maybe 2.5 or ³⁄₅ stars for the games. It’s a small place but they have some skeeball and other things I like.
I won the jackpot on that one machine with the lights that go around and around (140 tickets!) and was excited to redeem my tickets later. However, I didn’t get to do that, because of a few reasons:
1) The mall normally closes at 6pm on Sundays, but had holiday hours, so it’s open till 8. American Fun Center apparently still decided to close at 6.
–That’s fine — that’s their prerogative. However, maybe give some warning, like a «last call» type thing at 5:45?
2) Around 5:55pm, my boyfriend and I were playing air hockey, and we hear one of the employees SCREAMING at some teenagers. She yelled «Get the f – k out!» at them and they were yelling something back. To be fair, I don’t know who started this but … really!!! Very, very unprofessional. It seemed like the kids yelled something like «we spent money here» but I can’t say for sure what was going on.
3) We continued playing our game and one of the other employees came up to us and said «we’re closed.» We weren’t even done with the game yet.
Needless to say, there was no time to redeem my tickets. I live in the area so MAYBE I will come back at some point, since I have like 170 tickets now … but that’s a big Maybe, based on this experience.

Bad place most games cost 50 cents or a dollar. With 10 dollars i won 40 tickets. Prizes are bad with 40 tickets I got a bouncy ball. Yup 10 bucks for a bouncy ball. I wasted a dollar on a gamr cause it didn’t work. I was the first complaint so the lady didnt give me my dollar back. Overall fun place if your willing to drop 50 bucks. Would not reccomend.

Ok, so i saw a video on YouTube which showed all the awesome arcade machines! And after making the long drive we were sorely disappointed by it, it only had 2 in the groove three machines (one in rough shape) and a couple of really dysfunctional machines (the punching machine for example was barley working, they said «not to hit it to hard» which was the whole point of it, i would have loved to have come here years ago, but it shames me to see such an arcade with potential be disappointing.
