The Troy Anytime is a great place to workout at. It’s very clean, nice equipment and the staff is very friendly.

This is a great place to workout! The staff is great, very helpful and genuine. I always look forward to seeing Ryan, Brandon and Liz. Even though I don’t do the personal training, I feel like Liz is still vested in my progress(Thanks Liz!). Members(and staff) are very respectful of the facility/equipment. You actually see people wiping down the machines when they’re done with them. The staff takes maintenance of the machines seriously. I never see machines out of order, they’re on top of it!

I do love anytime fitness a lot when I joined. I’m a customer to anytime fitness for more than a year. Most of the owners in the anytime fitness are nice to me. But I didn’t get the same kind of response here the owner of this gym never pay any respect to the customers. I want to share my experience with everyone. I had to travel outside the country. So I called in to the office 1 month before and requested them to cancel the membership. He told me that he can hold off the membership for 3 month and after I come back if I want I can join back in anytime fitness. I tried to push it a lot to cancel my membership but end of day he made me convince to hold off for 3 months and cancel it after that by email if I’m still unwilling to join the anytime fitness again. The next month they charged me the monthly fee. So I emailed him to find out the reason why they charged me. I didn’t get any reply from him so I called them. They answered my phone and checked my account. He told me that they don’t cancel the account on phone. Usually I need to come to the gym to cancel it but this time he can cancel it now in the phone if I want. I really didn’t understand how can he can’t cancel my account last time when I called him and cancel it now on phone. Keeping this aside in the entire phone conversation he never accepted that they might have missed to inform me that I need to come to gym to cancel the account. Instead he asked me to show him proof that I requested for the membership cancellation which happened on phone call. I’m not worried about the money I lost for the monthly fee if he at least told me that it might have happened by mistake and he can’t refund back I would have taken it. Instead he started arguing with me that it’s my fault that I don’t have proof requesting them to cancel the membership. At last I got pissed off arguing with him and went to gym and cancelled my membership right away. I don’t like this GYM anymore and I never recommend this gym to anyone. Canceling the membership is a mess-up job and they will make you feel why you picked anytime fitness. Frankly I don’t have option to give half star otherwise I would have given it.

Good variety of equipment, a very clean gym(unlike some others in town) and not crowded. Mgmt was very helpful and offered some great rates. Highly recommended. This gym is gooooooooooood!

I wanted to cancel my annual membership and called them with 2 billing cycles left. At the time they said it would have to continue through May before it could be cancelled. Fair enough, but my conversation with Brandon left me with the impression it was taken care of. On that phone call Brandon never reminded me that I had to go to the gym in person and give him 30 days notice. This May I was charged for my 13th month assuming the account was going to be cancelled when my year was finished. When I asked them why they couldn’t have been kind and remind me that when I called earlier. They insisted that wasn’t their responsibility because it was on the contract. The business practices of Anytime Fitness are not pro-member, but rather fulfill the business model they currently have. The legit thing to have done would have been to refund me for the unused month and thank me for my year commitment to them. This is a standard practice and leaves customer and business parting on good terms. I have my own business and I’ve taken a losses to keep a strong relationships between me and the customer. It ends up being more profitable in the long run. I had referred my sister and her boyfriend to Anytime Fitness and now if someone asks about my experience this is the one they hear. I preferred the flexibility and understanding Snap Fitness provided much better, but the one in the area closed.
