If you like going to garage sales then you’d probably like this store. They generally have over priced items, expired food and really bad knock off stuff. Goes with the theme of the plaza.

So I came back here and had some time to look around. Prices are pretty amazing, so I’ll probably be returning. However the service I received at the register was really rude and unwelcoming. I stood at the counter both women’s back towards me, and Im not rude so I waited patiently until one turned around, looked at me with a few stuffed animals in here hands, and continued to walk away and put them in their rightful place, instead of putting them down to ring me out, or even tell me, «i’ll be right with you.» As she was doing this the other woman turned around, looked at me, and went bak to doing what she was doing. No, «she’ll be right with you» or «hi, how are you?» Not even from the women who came back to ring me out. RUDE.

I love the big lots in Troy. The workers there are very cordial and the products they have cover a wide range. From food to mattress toppers. The 30 day money back return policy is nice too.

Great place to shop! This Big Lots(located in the Troy Plaza) was formerly Ames and Barkers(back in the day), a perfect fit for this area. They have a great selection of deeply discounted special purchase and closeout merchandise including houseware items, accessories, hardware, paper goods, greeting cards, food, electronics, toys, clothing, health & beauty, decorations, plantings, lawn & garden, rugs, FURNITURE(comfy living room sets and mattresses), CLOSEOUTS, and much more. Got some picture frames for $ 8 and some cheap DVDs for $ 3 each. I even had the chance to take a short rest break on a very comfortable leather armchair in back. Zzzzzzzz Wake up Ian, more discounts ahead!
