Elements Massage

I’m always on a budget so when I am spending money I’m looking for satisfaction. What can I say, there is nothing but satisfaction at Elements of Troy. The front desk is always helpful and friendly and no matter what therapist is available when I am looking for an appointment they each take their time asking me what my needs are and checking in on me through out the massage. Overall I’d rate them a 5 because I always walk away feeling like a million bucks!

I’ve been pretty stressed out lately and having had a couple massages before, I knew this would make me feel better. The place I have gone before was not open so I tried Elements Massage. I was very cold for the whole session. The masseuse’s hands were cold as well. I told the her I liked harder pressure but this was very painful. She dug into pressure points and sometimes pushed my skin into my bones. I wanted to relax but I’m not sure if this was a deep tissue massage. It was very painful. I could smell her breath on my face as well and I believe she is a smoker.
I was happy to have the $ 30 off as a new customer but definitely would have been more upset if I had to pay full price. I still tipped because I did say I wanted harder pressure. Even though everyone I spoke to was polite I wish I would have just waited until the place I went last time was open. I feel like I wasted my money since I still feel very stressed out and tense.

Made an appointment for my dad for father’s day. He had lower back surgery so he just got cleared and needed a place to go because physical therapy makes him very sore. he said the massage was great once he explained everything I already tried to explain to them over the phone, but when I called the girl on the phone wouldn’t shut up she kept interrupting me she kept talking over me while I was trying to explain his schedule was busy and he had surgery and explaining his needs she just wouldn’t shut up. I didn’t call to hear everything u think, I called to find out who was the best for my dad’s circumstances and if she would of shut up my dad wouldn’t of had to tell her that he had surgery next time we will go some place else.

I’ve had massages my whole life, and I still go weekly. mainly because I have a back problem and massage helps me feel better, I usually go to massage envy but they were all booked on my only day off for the week so I decided to try this place out. Front desk was polite and they were nice. The reason I’m giving this a 2 star is because of the atmosphere and the attitude of the employees.
The room was dusty, not to mention the fan blowing dust your way and the loud banging and voices next door. I couldnt relax. The sheets had wholes on it, when I got under the covers and stretched my legs, my toes could feel the ripped off linen, you couldnt see this when you’re initially taken into the room and would only notice after, when you get up or when you’re on the table. Although my therapist was nice, she couldnt give me the pressure I was asking for (I mentioned I wanted heavy pressure before booking the massage), not to mention the amount of oil she used. She asked me twice how the pressure was and I told her to go deeper, She did for a little bit but then lightened up, the pressure wasnt consistent through out the massage.
I know every massage therapist is different, but I wont be coming back to this place.
Overall, the place needs some major dusting and replace their torn up and old linen.

I was referred here by a friend and was really impressed! I have tried other places in the area and never had a desire to go back. Elements is very clean and inviting. The staff is beyond nice and professional. Overall I really had a great experience. I highly recommend Pam as a massage therapist. She really worked out my kinks and used the perfect amount of pressure! I would definitely go back ;)

As someone who has received many massages in their life, I have to say the massage I received from Eric at Elements was the most relaxing and soothing massage I have ever had. From the very beginning, the staff greeted me with a very warm welcoming and always had smiles on their faces. Eric made sure I was receiving the type of massage that I was expecting and at the end, he meet me outside of the door with a cold bottled water… which after such a great experience it is something you definitely look forward too. My overall experience at Elements was absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend Elements to anyone looking for a luxurious massage.

I have been getting massages for years now and this might have been the worst one yet. I booked for a couples massage, which was not a bad price. However, at the end of the massage we both looked at each other and said, «Mine was not good». My therapist rushed, «broke connection», minimal pressure and near the end it was very obvious she ran out of things to do and started to tap my face. His therapist was up and down and he asked for deep pressure and it was no where near. Not to mention the banging on the pipes at the store next door. Very disappointed since this was a surprise for his birthday.

YET another update:
I live in the UK now and wanted to send my parents a gift card as a surprise to mark their 30^th wedding anniversary. Emily, the very helpful woman on the phone, made sure to not only get the gift card out in the mail, she contacted me with an email (after she mailed me my receipt) asking me if I’d like to include a message and let them know who the gift was from. Extremely helpful and gracious service — it makes it so much easier knowing I can count on Elements to look after my parents REPEATEDLY and now from 3,500 miles away. Thanks so much — I can’t wait for them to receive it and come in!

I recieved a gift certificate from my sister in law. So I gave it a shot. Very nice décor, good atmosphere and the staff was very helpful and friendly even giving me tips on what I can do for my aches and pains at home. Only thing is, the buisness is located in a strip mall, so the rooms, even though they were spacious and music was in the background, I heard a lot of noise. Talking, doors slamming, it was very disturbing. I got the deep tissue message and I hurt my back really bad! I didnt know if I was supposed to say anything, but I was almost in tears, and the next 3 days after my message, I kept asking my husband if I had bruises on my back because I was so incredibly sore! Would I go back, probally not.

Just had my 2^nd massage at Elements. Very friendly staff. No problem working with or on people of size. Very accommodating. You owe yourself an hour of relaxation, do it at Elements. Therapist works well w/​my disablity.

I have been getting deep tissue massages all over the country for about ten years now. I am no expert in giving massages nor do I claim to be but this massage was not a $ 79 massage. Keep in mind new customers get $ 10 off, so retail must be nearly $ 90 for 55 minutes. I really expect substantial changes in muscle relaxation for that price, which I did not get. Most of the massage used very little oil which was painful on my skin. Also lots of neck work which included enough pressure to close my breathing airway. Usually a knot on my shoulder gets firm stationary pressure directly on the knot until the knot relaxes. This massage did not include that at all. I would pay $ 50 for the massage I got, but no way would I pay $ 90.

I can relax here anytime. The staff is always friendly and the place is always clean. I like the membership setup they have so it makes me go at least once a month.
Only downside is when I find someone I like, they always seem to leave. But I just went to their website and saw they added a couple people so I may have to give them a shot.
I would recommend this massage place. Fair pricing and good massages.
