There is nothing better in the world. This place is straight up life changing, unbelievable and I think about it everyday lol. I would recommend this to everyone, I have been about 10 times and every time I go, I can’t stop thinking about it. It’s probably a problem, but it tastes like heaven.

Just like the rating says: As good as it gets. I love both their vanilla and chocolate malted milk shakes. Nobody does them better. The only items they do not do well from what I have tried are their smoothies which are done with some sort of strawberry syrup juice and whatever else you pick to be in with it. Otherwise, you cannot go wrong.

Quality is amazing. I’m not a huge fan of ice cream but they have changed my mind. With always friendly employees, clean and bright atmosphere, and outdoor seating makes this place a gem.

I almost always get the peanut butter sundae when I come here, but I have no doubt that all of their offerings will please. The ingredients seem high quality, the ice cream is rich and creamy, and even the presentation (especially when you eat in) is a step above other places. The tables with chess sets are a fun touch, and I love the dairy case where you can buy milk in glass bottles, among other things.

Great service! They even came around and brought stickers and coloring pages for the kids. The ice cream was just ok. For $ 2.50 each the kids got the tiniest scoop of ice cream. My chocolate peanut butter in a waffle cone, was all chocolate with a dab of PB at the bottom. Dissapointed as we heard great things about this place.

There’s not a bad thing I could possible say about this place! It deserves the five stars!
The ice cream here is great; its creamy, smooth (never freezer burnt), and the flavors are great. The cakes are wonderful as well; for my birthday and my dad’s we’ve come here for their ice cream cakes. The selection of cakes isn’t huge, but trust me, you’ll take a while to choose one of these lovelies; they look that good. I’ve also tried their yogurts with fruit in the bottom, and it makes a yummy breakfast side. It’s light in texture and, I believe, zero fat, and there’s lots of flavors to choose from.
The atmosphere is adorable! There are large, black and white cow pictures on the walls, the booths are red and cozy, and the tables have chess games on them. It reminds me of an old school ice cream parlor! The music they play is often oldies or do-​wop, which makes it all the better!

I rate this place five stars on its delicious ice cream, family-​friendly atmosphere, and the wonderful service I get every time I go :) definitely considering having a party with my friends here.

Great dairy shoppe! I love that they have tables with Chess sets on them to entertain customers. I got the Dulce de Leche single scoop and my Husband got a small Chocolate sugar-​free soft-​serve in a cone.
As my Husband described his pick of the small Chocolate sugar-​free soft-​serve, «you can tell it’s sugar-​free», but it’s enough to fill his sweet tooth. His response to tasting my Dulce de Leche, «this is what milk must taste like in Heaven. If there were golden cows, this is how their milk would taste.»

Both being lactose-​intolerant, but lovers of all things dairy, we really wanted to make a stop because ice cream. In 50-​degree weather. In Michigan. In February. This is definitely a great spot for anyone looking for that ice cream goodness! I feel like their sizes are very reasonable as well, for a single scoop and a small cone, they were great in size unlike some ice cream places! And they offer a variety of waffle cones.
Also, they do have their own milk in bottles to purchase, which I think is really neat! And they recycle their bottles when customers bring it in! I love when stores have Green Initiatives like that!

I love it, nothing can stop me from coming back. Sure there overpriced but I guess greatness doesn’t come cheap. As they say, they are ice cream royalty!

Even though it’s a chain, they have the best ice cream that I’ve found in SE MI. I like how they rotate the flavors of the pre-​packaged quarts of ice cream — let’s me look for new things to try without taking up a bunch of time at the counter.

One of the best tasting ice cream as I have ever had. My favorites are blueberry pie, pistachio, and chocolate. They also sell milk dairy products from their cows. If you are in the area please check it out. You won’t regret it!

I just ordered ice cream and there was a huge roach in the middle of it. It looks like it came through the machine. This place can’t be that clean. They offered to give me a new one but from the same dirty machine?

I’ve been here twice now.

A nice place to sit down and have dessert. They have games you can play. Appears clean. They must have a huge turnover there, because every time we come in to use our ice cream of the month cards, some manager has to come over and show the employee how to ring us up.
The ice cream of the month is a good deal if you live nearby. For $ 20 a year, you get 1 scoop a month, a $ 3.50 value. For the kids, they get 2 kids size scoops per month for $ 20 a year.
Speaking of scoops, they do make sure you don’t get more than you are supposed to. They must have cameras on the employees scooping the ice cream. The ice cream is OK, clearly mass produced somewhere for them. If you want bigger portions, go to Rays.

First time here, I got the peanut butter sundae and it was great. My wife got an ice cream sandwich, but thought it was a bit too rich — but that’s typical of most ice cream sandwiches. They seem to have some high quality milk, didn’t try any this visit but we will next time. Great place!

Oberweis is delicious and always a yummy treat. I normally get a hot fudge or brownie sundae. My husband always gets the peanut butter sundae (it’s so good). The only reason I didn’t give all 5 stars is price. It’s always over $ 10 for the two of us.

Been going to Oberweis for years. I was introduced to
it in Chicago before they came to Michigan. Everything is fresh and always tastes great! My favorite is the chocolate banana shake. They also put a pirouette in it which is a nice touch. I recommend trying the milk at least once. There is something about buying milk in a glass jug!

Headed here last Sunday after my daughters soccer game to cool off. I ordered their frozen coffee cooler, which was almost completely boring and BLAND. Everyone else was happy with their choice, which is why I gave them 3 stars instead of 1 – 2. Will stick to ice cream here next time :)

First time we’ve been here.
My girlfriend said it was the best chocolate peanut butter ice cream she’s ever had. I had the chocolate caramel crunch which was very good.
Quality of the ice cream is very good, though selection was so so (in my opinion) and prices for sundaes a bit high (around $ 5 for a small). Scoops weren’t as generous as some places I’ve been. This is what keeps it from being a 5 for me.

A refreshing alternative. This is one of the only places to just sit and enjoy our company and some good ice cream that doesn’t involve sitting at an aging picnic table or crammed in a booth on a hot day.
The highlight is the ice cream of course, the atmosphere and great customer service.
This place is much more that it appears. While a great place to stop by for an ice cold treat, the offer home delivery of milk in glass bottles (old school right?), and other items they offer, catering, party packages, ice cream in larger portions, pies and cakes.
