The response from the business owner of Explore was a copied email she sent to me previous to posting the response. Her suggestion that I take a lower class was potentially insulting — I had been a consistent yoga student in a class at the same level for over a year many times a week. I was simply sharing MY impressions and there are many who love Explore Yoga in Rochester. I wish her the best.

Explore Yoga in Troy is the best yoga studio in the area. The staff are great and very helpful. This yoga studio is great for people of all yoga skill. They have classes for all levels of yoga! You can go to explore yoga and take a class for the first time. The location is great and very easy to get to. Also the interior of the studio itself is great and very peaceful, calm and quiet. The classes at explore yoga are for all ages too! Overall if you are looking for a good yoga studio then this is the one to choose!

As many of the reviews state the atmosphere here is amazing! Very relaxed and inviting. The staff are top-notch and really know what they are doing. As a beginner I was nervous, but they made me feel right at ease! Amy and the other instructors are as good as they get.
Nestled in a quiet, assuming location, take the time to try it out. You will NOT be disappointed.

I love this place! I had bought a Groupon which was a great deal to check out his yoga studio. I am a beginner so I was a little hesitant to go. I have taken a few classes from Amy and I highly recommend her. She is not only calming during the class but also great at making sure you get into the right pose. The studio room itself has generous space and is set up to make you feel relaxed upon entering it. The music is nice and I also like the the candles that are lit. The class sizes are pretty small so you get a lot of personal attention. I am definitely going to continue going here after my Groupon expires.
