Lansing Laundry

This is my first time here after having horrible luck with the laundromat down the street from my apartment. I drove up from over by Emma Willard school to this one after a recommendation from my roommate. This place is great! 3.75 for the front loading washers, big dryers, and extremely clean! Definitely worth the drive from my house!

Clean and well-​lit laundromat. There are 2 change machines available that take up to $ 20 bills. I went there Sunday morning and basically had the place to myself. I will definitely do my laundry here again!

Fellow « Unilocaler» Amber is AWESOME! After I reviewed the laundry that I was using, Amber «The Reason» steered me in the direction of this facility. I think 4 stars is as good as a laundry can get because laundry will never be the same as doing laundry at home (insufficient hot water for whites). I don’t think I will do my whites here as the water just wasn’t hot enough in my opinon.
This laundry is in Lansingburgh and is very clean and the laundry doesn’t come out of the drying smelling like burning rubber! It is $ 3.50 for the front loaders and $ 2.00 for the top loaders. Dryers are $ 0.25 for 8 minute intervals. $ 8.75 total to wash my grubby clothes. 40 minutes 3 loads of laundry, IN AND OUT. Bam.
The counters were clean and I was comfortable folding my laundry on them. Actually the entire place was really really clean and didn’t smell like mildew like some laundromats tend to. There are change machines that take up to $ 20 bills. Vending machines for detergent and snacks as well.
There was no riffraff hanging out. I had the place to myself (but for the security cameras) for the first 15 minutes and was able to sing to myself. Then an senior woman came in to do her laundry and a twenty-​something fella; everyone was reading and no one was obnoxious (woo hoo).
I believe the hours of this place are 6am to 10:30pm (9:30pm is the last wash otherwise you’ll find yourself locked in and probably setting off the alarms).
