This is only one of two coin-op laundries in downtown Troy. Comparatively speaking it’s much better than the other laundry. But, it’s fairly expensive, and the machines aren’t the newest, but normally most are working. You can also get a Wi-Fi signal inside the laundry mat. Unfortunately, it doesn’t always open at it’s advertised time.

I’ve experienced better laundromats, but I think I might be somewhat biased since my first impression was Lansing Laundry, a top-notch operation. However, I wanted to try some places in my neighborhood. My first gripe with The Laundry Factory is that it has only high-efficiency washers; it costs $ 2.75 for a wash while I only pay $ 2.00 for a regular washer at Patricelli’s. Secondly, two of the dryers were out of order, so I had to wait a few minutes until one was available — not unusual as far as laundromats go, but still an inconvenience. The facilities were clean. Things were a little cramped, but there were two long counters to fold clothes on, and there were a few wheeled laundry butlers, which is a plus. Not sure if I will return, but it’s not ruled out.
