Residence Inn Dayton Troy

The staff here could not be anymore helpful and friendly! The rooms were clean and well kept, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen area was great for a long stay. I wish the bedrooms had a little more space, but I would stay here again just because of how friendly the employees were. The housekeeper took personal interest in making sure we were happy. The outdoor pool and warm, free breakfast topped the cake. They had plenty of food, it was all fresh and delicious and we were very happy!

The hotel is up to the usual good standards of Marriott. The rooms are well appointed especially if you need a kitchen and want to be able to eat in. The bed was quite comfortable. Bathroom clean and prperly appointed. It was nice to see the hotel follows it’s own rules with respect to not cleaning towels each day. The breakfast was fine and reasonably good. I tend to head for local food so mostly I had coffee and some of the japanese sticky rice which is always available for breakfast.
The best part of the hotel was the staff who were always there to help, resolve issues and generally act as a locally knowledgeable friend was rare and quite wonderful. The people I dealt with such as Mia and Jessie were pleasant and helpful and a real joy to deal with.

The rooms are some of the best in 50 miles, but the staff are just great. They are friendly and excellent. This is the best place to stay within 3 counties. Nice convenience shop. Many Honda/​Honda-​related folks, Hobart-​related, and Emerson-​related folks make this their preferred stay in the area. Good access to highway, to local Main Street, to local shopping and such. Beautiful grounds. Washing machines cost half what local laundromat does.
