Ambassador Toys

What a great find. My son said I want to go to a toy store and I said ok but there probably isn’t one here. Low and behold we turn the corner and see Ambassador. They have a great selection of toys and as always, service is great.

Great toy store! Toys for babies, toddlers and kids. Love the glow in the dark room. The prices are about right and the service was great. Wonderful selection of toys to choose from!

Came here to find a little something for my cousin’s 5 year old son as a belated birthday gift. They had interesting little toys, books, and gadgets so it was neat to browse around. The staff was friendly and talkative. We ended up getting an Automoblox Mini for him and they even offered to wrap it up, which was a nice touch.

We do not have kids, and we still have to stop in here to play once in a while! They have old classic toys, and some fun new stuff!!! The staff is always friendly and loves to chat!

What a nice addition to the Northstar Village! Despite being part of a chain, this is a quaint little toy store featuring a lot of classic toys and activities that make kids use their brain power and imagination. We really liked the «glow-​in-​the-​dark room,» a black room where every toy, game, activity and accessory literally glowed in the dark.
The staff is nice. Despite being centrally located in the Northstar Village (which can be an expensive place), I thought most items were reasonably priced. The store has a great book, game and puzzle collection. Another thing I loved, no Ninetendo or other mindless video games! If they were there, it wasn’t evident.
We left with some very interesting purchases including a fingerprint kit that allowed my 7-​year-​old to become a detective and experiment with how fingerprints are made and lifted by detectives. She thought it was fascinating and I thought it was fantastic to see her so engaged in the activity. Make sure you stop by Ambassador Toys!
