We had a great experience with the Fall weekend Equestrian Camp for kids. The weekend our daughter was scheduled to attend was unseasonably cold and rainy. When it became obvious that it was miserable for the riders and horses, they called off the first day after about 1 hour. I was hoping we might be able to argue for a partial refund. But before I could even ask, the offered to let her come back the next day AND the entire next weekend for no extra charge! Great customer service! The camp itself was wonderful. Our daughter not only improved her riding skills, but she also learned about the horses’ care, health, and training. We are already planning to be back next season! A special thanks to her two instructors, Cara and Rachel, who were wonderful working with young kids… we hope they’re back next season!

We spoke to a woman 3 times on a Friday morning for a reservation for 5 people on a Sunday afternoon. After telling her what time and how many people we had and leaving her our number to call us if she needed anything else we showed up on Sunday and they said we did not have a reservation. They mentioned that this also happened to another party an hour and a half earlier. They were full, said we should have given them a credit card number(no-one asked for one) and curtly said«Sorry.» Worse than not having a reservation after speaking to someone 3 times was how they handled it when we were there. They were short with us and claimed they«always take a credit card». They should have at least acted concerned, tried to reschedule us and/or offer us some kind of discount for our troubles. However, they just acted like they wanted us to leave. So we did. We went to Alpine Meadows and had a wonderful, friendly experience.
