Yoga Studio Tahoe

We had an awesome private yoga class taught at our house in Truckee for my best friend’s bachelorette party. The studio was easy to coordinate with and provided mats for all of us (10 people total). Megan was our instructor and she was fantastic. She definitely tailored the class well to our group and everyone, regardless or yoga experience level really really loved her and her class. I can’t speak to the facilities of the actual studio but I would love to check them out next time I’m in town. Would definitely recommend!

This studio is very good and is in my top 2 for best studios in the Tahoe area. It’s located in Truckee, not too from North Lake. The studio is very clean and quite peaceful. The community is lovely.
This was my first time practicing Bhakti and I enjoyed the vinyasa portion of the flow. I’m rather particular about studios and I’m super excited to have found this gem. Can’t wait to go back!

GPS TAKES YOU TO THE WRONG PLACE. READ THEIR DIRECTIONS BEFORE LEAVING. What a beautiful place to practice yoga! So peaceful, and enchanting even. I did the ski apres yoga, and it was wonderful. Ashley was a pro, and even helped direct me to the studio because I got lost. I wish I lived here so I could go all the time :)

Wow. Sweaty, challenging, engaging, beautiful setting. At least the class I took was not for beginners, but that is not what I was looking for.

Truckee is our second home. I just love how peaceful it is here. When in town I need to visit Yoga Studio Tahoe because it’s such a great stretch and workout. I love the Bhakti Flow class and all the instructors are fabulous. i highly recommend this studio!

What a beautiful environment, and great sounds, to add to the zen/​workout vibe that I am looking for, this studio ticks all the boxes and has a varied class schedule for all levels.

This is an unbelievably nice studio! Nicer than anything in San Francisco or Santa Monica that I found. The room itself is a great shape and size with high ceilings and no support poles in the middle of the room. The flooring, acoustics, colors, light and air are all outstanding. Shaelah and all of the other teachers I have had here have been great, including the subs. Having access to this studio makes trips to Tahoe so much better!

Love this place! Beautiful space, calming energy and very welcoming and encouraging of new students. Get ready to sweat and flow and walk out feeling re-​centered!

All the yoga teachers are awesome. Each one has been a great help to overcome my knee injuries. Extremely welcoming. The warm atmosphere keeps my spirit flowing.

I loved Shaelah’s class yesterday. I was riding on a high all day from it. The warmth of the room and the 1 ½ hour was delightful. Her sequencing was so creative and kept my interest and rekindled my love for yoga. I can’t wait to come back again!

Shaelah is a Yoga Rockstar with a kind and beautiful heart who brings a beautiful energy to each and every class she teaches. Her and Tahoe Flow Arts have now joined forces so you can do Aerial Arts here now too. She provides teacher training and Deity workshops along with her full range of mostly Vinyasa style yoga which always ends in a beautiful mantra that will have your Soul singing and wanting for more… She also has a boutique with yoga wear and fabulous jewelry accessories.

Shaelah is inspiring. Her classes are motivating, deep and thoughtful. I have learned so much from her! Shaelah has created a very special, sacred space at Studio Tahoe that inspires all that come inside! Meghan Ruiz is also another incredible teacher. Her classes teach me so much about being a human on this earth and have helped me grow as a person. Thanks to Meghan and her guidance, I feel more confident in yoga class! Hanni is wonderful! She has pushed me and challenged me in so many ways. Her classes are extremely rewarding and have helped me grow stronger. I love how she uses the harmonium and how educates her students about the deities. Ashley Dien is a beautiful teacher, too! Her classes are full of meaning and intention. From Ashley’s music choice to her artfully linked vinyasa flow, I leave her Bhakti class inspired and invigorated.

This studio embodies every bit of wonderful. Shaela (the owner) has created a welcoming and challenging yoga studio. All levels are welcome. Each teacher informs the students concerning their posture, devotion, breathing, and overall well-​being. Each class stretches your mind and body plus makes it fun to challenge you to be better. They are beyond helpful and continue to spread their love of yoga. They help out of pure joy for the well-​being of others; quite a genuine place to be. True Namaste.
