Great Chinese and they deliver! Love their hot and sour soup, Mongolian chicken and egg rolls. Always delicious!

We eat here all of the time and the food is consistently FRESH and delicious. The service is great and the owner is ever-​present, which accounts for a wonderful culinary experience.

Very disappointing. The first time we’d gone in there was at lunch, the waiter took our drink order and ten minutes later (yes, TEN minutes!) had never returned. We ended up leaving. Then the second time the service was still terrible, and the portion size was tiny for the money they charged. After tonight’s experience, never again… no way! The person I was with, he and I just wanted to go in for a quick bite, I wanted just a cup of soup and an eggroll, but what we got was yet again slower than slow service, even as we were the only ones in there. Then when I’d asked for just a cup of soup (which every other Chinese restaurant, in my experience, serves, without argument), I was told I had to either order for TWO of the same soup or get a giant bowl which I didn’t want, but they wouldn’t let me order just a single cup! WTF?! (My firm belief is that if a restaurant can’t compromise and serve what you ask for, they’re not a real restaurant). The person I was with, we ended up splitting an order of almond chicken between the two of us but what she brought us was clearly a lunch portion, not an evening portion. Then as I was eating mine, I bit into bone fragments! This place is just sad. The food is mediocre so I don’t know why they think they can serve such food in such small portions yet charge high prices! If you’re in Trussville, AL, try Red Lantern on Hwy 11 instead, it’s much better. I’d paid the bill, NO TIP!

Pretty excellent for delivery Chinese. Prices are a tad high but I guess on par for food quality.

My favorite local Chinese restaurant. I love the chicken chow mien. My husband always gets the shrimp lo mien. Egg drop soup is delish. Egg rolls are large and tasty. My go to for Chinese.

Not impressed. Small portions of overcooked, fried/​breaded meat for dishes that are not normally breaded. Taste and quality were sub-​par. My wife is gluten free, so we definitely won’t be back here.

In terms of Chinese take-​out, Yu’s is simply great. You can get better Chinese food, but you’d have to go to a really nice restaurant and spend some ‘nice’ money.
Yu’s is the kind of takeout (or eat in if you like) that you hope to have access to… very good quality, good price, clean place, and friendly people. For what it is — essentially fast Chinese take-​out — I’d just about give it 5 stars. So my 4 star rating is more for the food itself, which is dang good! (I had mu shu chicken.)
