Services such as carpet cleaning have become the norm on sites such as Living Social and Groupon… these businesses, no matter what time of the year, always seem to be running specials. However, not all carpet cleaners are GOOD. And often, you get what you pay for which is a mediocre job that is done in 15 minutes with just steam. Curtis-​E Carpet was RIGHT ON TIME (9am) and the technician did a very thorough job throughout the home and did his best to get the pet stains out that are in our living room floors. He was very friendly and took pride is his work and enjoyed his job. If this technician represents all the company, then I say Curtis-​E Carpet is one of the best in the business is worth every penny, even without a discount. If you do go with them, ask for Justin N. to be your tech if possible. He is excellent and super friendly!

Justin from Curtis-​E Carpet Cleaning is just now pulling out of my driveway and I was so pleased with the results I came to write the review right away. This is the second time Curtis-​E has cleaned our carpets. The first time (a few years ago) the results were fine enough – the technician seemed to have his mind elsewhere, but it was still satisfactory. Today, Justin arrived ahead of schedule (he called first to make sure that worked for us) and was friendly and professional from the very beginning to the very end. It was clear that he took his job personally and really worked hard to make our carpets spotless. I hate our white carpet (2 cats, 2 dogs, 2 kids in a place where it rains 10 months of the year – white carpets are a nightmare), can’t wait to replace it, but now I’m actually proud of it. We should have a party – invite people over – quick! Anyway, he was knowledgeable, professional, and did an excellent job. Very happy customers – thank you!

I purchased an Amazon deal for this company and what a waste of money and time that was! They left a big spot on the newest carpet in my house and then asked for my feedback by email. I was honest about it and they sent the technician back. He was so rude to my husband, saying «really? This is why i came back? Do you realize how much it costs in gas and time?» He was so incredibly rude and still did a lousy job. Run, don’t walk, away from this company!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel this deserves one.
My carpets haven’t been professionally cleaned in about 5 years and had food stains.
It was very easy to schedule and technician called me to let me know he was running a bit late. Chris was very professional, explained the process, pricing, etc — very upfront. Not only he was professional, he’s also very friendly.
He offered to use a different machine in my family room because it was the one worst situation and honestly it needed more help. He explained the price and the difference and I am really glad I took it.
My carpets look brand new and smell wonderful!
I’d most definitely recommend and use them again.

First time having carpets cleaned, and Luis from Curtis-​E did a very professional job. He called an hour ahead of the appointment and said he could be 30 minutes early, which was fine. Took just 45 minutes or so and the carpets look great! I would use them again and recommend them. Heard of them from Groupon for $ 90, and it was well worth it!

When my tenant moved out of my rental, I needed the whole house’s carpets cleaned, so a friend — who also has a rental — referred me here. She said they’d clean my whole 1,500 sq feet house for the $ 99 Groupon price. That had me sold!
This company keeps busy, so I took the day-​time cancellation appointment they had available and had my mom go to unlock the house, since I would be at work.
The employee was early and very friendly, she said.
After checking the place out, he offered to remove the dog smell for $ 30. I opted not to, because the smell was faint and I figured it’d be gone once the rooms were cleaned and fresh paint was on the walls.
While he did an good job on the large, front room, one bedroom still had gooey candy on the floor, which we were able to scrub out, after he’d left. The orange Kool-​aid stain had to be removed by a professional stain remover. Another room had a large spot of white candle wax dripping in one area. We were also able to remove that with an iron and napkins. Dog hair was pretty evident too, which we vacuumed up. None of these things were mentioned by him, which we’d have thought he’d offer to remove for a small additional fee.
That said, I don’t know if he cleaned every room, like I’d been told he would because we were away while he cleaned and we paid — on the assumption that he did.
Not that this would deter me from using this company again. Next time though, I will be sure to clarify that all the rooms are being cleaned and I will inspect them before paying.

Jim came and cleaned house, our carpet had not been cleaned in at least 3 years! The carpet is so clean, no chemical smell, moved all the furniture he could lift– a very thorough! Will be keeping him on the phone and will be referring him out. Easy to schedule, arrived on time, worked hard!

I had my carpets cleaned yesterday by Curtis-​E Carpet Cleaning and they fabulous job. The guy was professional and easy to work with. I recommend this company for your carpet cleaning needs.

Used an Amazon Local $ 99 for up to 6000sqft deal. If it wasn’t for the price, this would be a 1-​star review.
1) The guy called me an hour before the appointment and asked if he could come early. I told him I could only be there 30mins before the appointment (I’ve got other things to do!). He didn’t sound too happy when i told him that.
2) It was raining the day of the carpet cleaning. The guy came into my house with wet shoes, did not put shoe covers on or try to minimize the water he dragged in (my entryway is tile, not carpet). I waited until the end to see if he would wipe up the mess before he left. nope! didn’t apologize for it either.
3) after the carpet was cleaned, the guy dumped all of the brown liquid right next to my driveway! gross…

I honestly take very poor care of my carpets, there are stains all over them. I haven’t had them cleaned since the day I moved in (almost 2 years ago). However my son just started crawling and I knew something had to be done with them. I called curtis e carpet cleaning and got an appointment within the week. The technician seemed very knowledgable and experienced. He got every stain and flaw removed in no time at all, and the pet odors have vanished! I will definitely be calling them again!

I’m not sure what kind of person regularly gets their carpets cleaned and expects that the cleaner will also move your furniture and vacuum for you, but the service I got with Curtis-​E was great, and I would definitely hire them again. I did my own vac and moving items, and was still doing that when he arrived, but there was no issue there, he just started at the other end of the house. I upgraded for the $ 50.00 rotating brush heads, and I’m glad I did. My carpets probably hadn’t been cleaned in the entire 7 years the previous owner lived there, and they got 99% of the grime and staining out-​my carpet went from dust bunny grey to fluffy generic beige and it took less than 2 hours for about 1400 sq ft.
They did call and want to come early, but I wasn’t available early on such short notice (called at 2 about coming early to an appointment at 3… I still had a kid to pick up). The guy didn’t seem too thrilled with that, but the job was so well done I don’t think I have much room to complain, especially using a Groupon. He was pleasant when he arrived, and it was worth every penny. I’ve used another local service-​no groupon, and didn’t get anywhere close to this quality.
I did let my carpets dry overnight, he said every carpet is different and some take longer than others. Opening windows definitely helped but there was NO chemical smell.

It had been 4 years since we had our carpets cleaned and they were bad!
I can’t remember the name of the guy that came out, but he did an excellent job.
He even called and asked if he could come early!
He spent nearly a half-​hour getting up a red/​orange soda stain, that I thought was never going to come up. It was short of a miracle.
Plus he spent extra time in a room that was trashed by a roommate, and it looks near perfect too.
It took about 2 hours for approximately 1700 sq ft.
A few cat vomit stains did not come up, but the coupon said it was NOT for pet stains, so that must need a different solvent. But many of them DID come up even with the regular $ 99 cleaning.
Only suggestion I would make, is to put something soft/​cushioned on the hoses where they make contact and rub against the baseboard trim and walls.

Purchased a groupon well you get what you pay for. I have my carpets cleaned regularly. Coupon states can only lift up to 50 lbs. Justin would not move any items. I had to vacuum carpet and move items myself needless to say I was unable to move much. I think at appointment setting it should have been made clear that I was expected to move furniture and vacuum the carpet because had I know I would have canceled the groupon.

I also purchased a groupon for carpet cleaning from this company. They worked with my schedule, showed up on time and did an excellent job. The guy who did the work even gave me some tips on how to keep the cat from peeing on the carpet (which is the whole reason it needed cleaning). Great job, great service!

I’ve used this company 3x on a Groupon before. Usually around $ 115 each visit. This time they gave a past customer pre-​pay discount of $ 90 entire house for the month of March. Of course I jumped on it and booked for service 3 weeks out. They arrived 2 hrs late! I still give them 3 stars because the job was done and it was still worth $ 90. But 2 hrs! Come on guys some people have to get back to work!

These guys are top notch! I got a killer deal in a Groupon they had going for a while. They showed up to my house an hour in advance and it only took them around 45 minutes at the most to clean the entire house which is 3 stories. The guy who cleaned the carpets was very professional, friendly, and did an amazing job at making our carpets look brand new. I have nothing but positive things to say about these guys and I will definitely be using them next time we have our carpets cleaned.

I purchased a Groupon for carpet cleaning after reviewing the experiences of others — and I’m happy to report that when I had my carpets cleaned by Curtis-​E, they exceeded my expectations.
The Groupon was for a whole-​house at $ 99. When Luis showed up, I mentioned that I had two large wool area rugs which I was also going to have cleaned later; he told me he’d do the first one for free (it was already in-​place), and the second one for $ 40. I couldn’t have rented a Rug Doctor for that price, and he did a STELLAR job on the ‘woolies’!!
$ 139 for the whole house plus area rugs is something unbelievable. I’m sure they’re doing these deals to break into the residential market (they already do a lot of commercial work) — and with work like theirs, they’ll have a thriving residential business in no time.
