I heard about this store from some friends in Westchester. I decided to consign some items my mother left me though I had very little experience with consignment. The process is simple and I was paid promptly after my items sold. I highly recommend Miriam and her staff for the professionalism, courtesy and customer service.

If you are bringing in anything to sell or leave on consignment be prepared, these people want high end only. To the other person who did a review we were told they take nothing with a crack or chip in it.

Absolutely beautiful and unusual jewelry, but VERY overpriced in some areas and alas, they tend to think a little too much of their stuff in terms of rarity/value.
Also, they’re not as knowledgeable as they’d like to think (e.g. calling flat Bohemian garnets «tourmalines»…sigh).
Final point: be careful when buying — check everything VERY carefully… flaws will not be pointed out. To be fair, they might not have seen them either, but when selling at these prices, they should be a little more aware of their consignments’ condition.
