This is a fantastic hospital — it’s like a «boutique» surgical and care center focused on orthopedics. The care you get is extraordinary — all the nurses and techs(pre-op, recovery and hospital) are knowledgeable, attentive and caring. I always have admired and treasured the work of nurses, but the staff here is extra special. The rooms are also spacious — they are all private rooms. I’ve never seen the«4 Star» rooms that cost extra, but the regular rooms are very spacious with a relatively comfortable couch/bed for a family member to stay. My husband had a hip replacement, and on top of a brilliant surgeon(Dr. Thomas Bradbury), he had wonderful treatment throughout.

As far as hospitals go, this is one of the better ones for patients and visitors. The café is relatively good by hospital food standards, and seems to be healthy. Room service is usually on top of things. Nurses, as with anywhere, are hit or miss. I feel like sometimes they are overloaded with work, because there’s not enough other nurses on that floor. It may be because something happened, but I think hospitals should be held to a higher standard when determining staff numbers. Unlike other for profit businesses, they need to have enough staff to accommodate the worse circumstances 100% of the time rather than having enough staff only for average circumstances.

My aunt had surgery here and the staff was A-MAZING ! From the guard to the people in reception and the nurses. Please somebody take note this is how a hospital should be run.
