I got all the way home and my sandwich is cold. If I wanted a cold sub I could’ve went to Subway. And when I called my name I thought«that was quick» should’ve known it was going to be wrong. Won’t return… #DOBETTERFIREHOUSE #poorcustomerservice. #dontgotofirehiuseinTucker

Got the hook and ladder light. It was about what I expected. A good turkey and ham sandwich. Tasted fresh. Nothing real special here to bring it above a good average fast food experience.

$ 5.99 for a medium sanwhich with pratically no meat! Very disapointed first & last time going there. But the staff were very nice.

The service here is good since new a manager has taken over! The service here is fast. I love the that the staff is always helpful and smiling! I also order a catering order and the manager did a great job for my company and also threw in some freebies!

Good service just dirtier than most firehouse subs. Also my order is usually wrong in some aspect. Other than that, food is good and much better than any subway or jimmy johns.

Firehouse Subs is a national chain of sandwich shops. The one I go to most often is the Tucker location on Lawrenceville HWY. Think of Firehouse Subs as a sort of «Subway Plus», if you will. The food is definitely better. A lot better. It’s also quite a bit more expensive(A large sub and drink will run you about $ 10 or $ 11) and getting your sandwich takes anywhere from six or seven minutes during non-peak hours to about fifteen minutes during the lunch rush. There are probably about a dozen or more different sandwiches on the menu, and my favorite is the New York Steamer — corned beef, pastrami served with Italian dressing, mayo and(a little) mustard on white or wheat bread. It’s pretty good. I enjoy it thoroughly. I’ve also had the Italian — good, but not great. And the BBQ Brisket — eh, OK, the BBQ was too sweet for my tastes. So, I wasn’t kidding when I said Firehouse is Subway Plus. It’s just a better, more expensive and slower version of it. Considering I can get a delicious Cuban for less right across the streets, and other sandwiches equal in quality from the Publix, I don’t go here all that often. But, it is good, and when the mood strikes for pastrami, it’s usually the place I head to. All-in-all, decent place for lunch if you don’t mind spending the few extra bucks. Pros: Good sandwiches. Cons: A little slow, not exactly a good value. Verdict: Recommended.

I had dinner at this location with my mother the other night. I noticed immediately they did not greet us, but I let that go. After staring at the menu for literally 3 or 4 minutes one of the employees said, «one moment we will be right with you.» So we wait another minute or two and as the employee takes our order my mother notices she looks«bleh». So my mother asks, «you don’t want to be here do you?» The girl looks puzzled, gives a half smile and says, «oh no, I’m fine.» My mother replies, «oh, I thought you just didn’t want to be here b/c you looked mad.» With all that being said, the customer service stinks. And we all know GREAT customer service goes a long way!!!

You ever have one of those days where you just want a good sub? Well today was that day and the desire for a hot & tasty sub was subdued with my firehouse middle of the road, boring, light on meat, semi-cold, stale bun steak and cheese. I agree with other posters who say that the staff is fairly indifferent as to whether or not the customer enjoys their visit. Upon entering we heard a half conscious«welcome to firehouse» which immediately makes you question your decision. The sub, which is supposed to be hot, simply wasn’t. In fact nothing about the sub was good or tasty or hot. Like most I really like the Coke Freestyle machine but it’s not enough to bring me back. Sorry FH, you lost me.

I am in love with this place the food is so good. Got the Hero sandwich. The staff is friendly but not fast… I’m not sure why it takes time but once I get my food I forget about the time instantly it’s fresh and delicious

This is a chain right? Not much changes between stores, except a few things, so I’ll keep it short and sweet. 1. Staff is pretty terrible. Like not cursing at you terrible, but more along the lines of «I hate this job, so I’m going to make it very obvious to other people» terrible. 2. Nobody should have to ask for their sandwich to be «fully involved». Can their be another term for this? I feel like I’m getting into a relationship with my sandwich by saying that. 3. They have a bunch of cool hot sauces, decent sandwiches, and a Coke freestyle machine. The later of which apparently gives people great joy. Friendly faces, good service, good food, that’s what gets me to come back to a chain restaurant.

Firehouse Subs. They make one heck of a sub. What is better than a Firehouse Sub? A FREE Firehouse Sub. I went to the local Firehouse Subs on my birthday and received my free sub. out of everything that happened that day, this was one of the highlights. The sub I had the pleasure of eating that day was a Medium Hero sub. If they keep making kick ass subs, they will always be at the top of my list.

My sandwich was good, but it was so small. Portions need to be bigger for the price. I think it’s overpriced, mediocre food.

My boyfriend and I were excited to spot a Firehouse Subs near our house, so we went right in. Unfortunately, this one sucks. Here’s why: 1. No one greeted us when we walked in. I’m not asking for a fakely enthusiastic, «Welcome to Firehouse Subs!» or anything — just a simple human smile or nod would be nice. 2. After deciding what we wanted, the three people behind the counter(plus the manager who was just standing off to the side chit chatting with some dude) all continued to ignore us. We stood there for about 3 or 4 minutes until FINALLY someone came over to take our order. Now, let me note that I absolutely HATE it when people working counter service come up to you IMMEDIATELY before you’ve even had a chance to look up at the board. I’d prefer it if they would acknowledge my presence and then say, «Order whenever you’re ready» or something. But THIS was ridiculous! It’s like we weren’t even there. 3. We got our drinks, sat down, ate our chips and NOTHING for over 20 minutes. Two or three other people were also waiting and no one else was in the restaurant. And the manager is still laughing and chatting away with his buddy. 4. When I finally got my sandwich, it was not«fully involved», in fact, it was missing lettuce, tomatoes and onions and was very sloppily slapped together. I brought it to the” footloose and fancy free” manager and after a minute or so, he brought me a bowl of onion slices, tomato slices and lettuce that I then had to tear up into pieces and reconstruct my sandwich. The only good thing was that they have a freestyle machine, which is awesome. OK — it WAS Super Bowl Sunday and I’m sure you had a lot of catering orders. But you have to put them aside when you have customers IN the store, especially when it’s only FOUR customers! Huge disappointment.

I sat there in the booth gazing at my now empty and bereft chip bag. The minutes had been slowly racking up. I glanced at my watch, 20 minutes and still no sandwich. What was going on here? Turns out they had a lot of online and call-in orders that day because of some big sports to-do(see:Super Bowl) so I can cut them a little bit of a break. I did stand at the counter for at least 3 minutes without ever being acknowledged though and that’s just unacceptable. That’s like customer service rule #1: Greet customers. Anyway, they have a Coke freestyle machine which is damn nifty but with Dr. Pepper interestingly enough. The sandwich itself(NY Steamer) was just ok. Obviously made in a hurried manner it looked like one big splat. Not the most appealing. The taste was ok too, but it was drowning in too much mayo which I really hate. I wasn’t going to hazard having them redo the sandwich at this point though. Sorry guys, you really let me down this time.
