I’ve been coming here for years. I can count on Marlow’s to be consistently on point. Good service, good food, good experience every time. Family favorites include: calamari, hummus, ahi tuna salad, fish tacos and cheeseburgers.

The food is delicious. Seriously– very good. However, I am rating this location on the entire dining experience. While it is possible this was an «off» day and they were short staffed that does not change my experience. We walked in and we’re not greeted or seated or acknowledged with even a head nod for 5 – 10 minutes. The server was clearly a bit mixed up as she brought us things we did not order and not things we did order. When we finally got everything, the food was great. The service, however was not.

Had came in today for a early Birthday lunch celebration of a friends. It was both of our first time dining here at Marlows. It was 1pm and as soon as we stepped foot, we were told there is a wait. There was only one couple ahead of us waiting. The wait was a little long. 40 minutes and I honestly couldn’t figure out why. It was not jam packed as you would think. But anywho, that explains the 4 stars. But another reason for the deduction of a star is because you couldn’t really tell where the«main» dining area was. It was a little confusing and we over heard some other people mentioning the same thing. But now off to the positives. For appetizers, we ordered the Parmesan truffle fries. Very delicious and served fresh and warm. For my main entrée, I had ordered tavern double cheese burger with a side of fried okra. Delish. I haven’t had fried okra in a while. Southern comfort food at its best! My friend ordered a chicken wrap(breaded chicken) with a side of Caesar Salad. Enjoyed it very much. Had mentioned was very filling and hearty. Also very friendly customer service. They had a few flat screens as well around the bar area. Great to also come here with a bigger group of friends. Will definitely come here again.

One of my favorite places for brunch. It seems as though the word spread quickly how great of a place this was because it was very overcrowded. My daughter and I were seated at the«Community Table» with people we did not know and we were not asked if the seating was ok or if we wanted to wait for other seating. The floors are dangerously slick and I had on tennis shoes. The salad/fruit/dessert bar was no longer available. There was a small table of two or three desserts, but no fruit. When we got up to check out the buffet, we were only able to get a few things before the person that checks the food stood in front of five of the entrees and said they all needed to be refilled. So, we decided on freshly made waffles and omelets. This guy knows what he’s doing. Yummy! The absolute highlight of my brunch and the only reason I did not give Marlow’s Tavern two stars. I have to admit I was a little disappointed especially since I had hyped up the restaurant only to have felt as though I should’ve gone to Copenhagen’s in Cobb.

Not my first visit but my first review of Marlow’s and tonight was pretty much amazing. We were greeted and seated right away even though it was crowded(New Years Day). Our server Steve came to us right away, explained the specials then took our appetizer and drink order. Our regular and specialty drinks showed up very fast. Asparagus fries, crab /shrimp nachos, chicken wings for appetizers All were excellent. Our food was delivered shortly after we finished our appetizers… well most of it. Everyone but me their entrees. Mine showed up about 5 minutes after everyone else and my fries were cold but they made it right by bringing a fresh basket. We had a wide variety of entrées including seafood, steak, chicken, burgers and it was all amazing. Steve checked on us and freshened up our drinks OFTEN. We got great food and amazing service at a reasonable price. We will be back !

Ate here the other day after hiking. The food was good, service was okay. Prices at Marlows are fair. Everyone in my group enjoyed the food & they were indeed hungry.

I came in and say at the bar. The atmosphere is nice with huge tvs at the bar. My bartender, Mari, was amazing. I ordered the center-cut steak entrée and it was made perfectly medium. I was kind of thrown off by the side dish. I didn’t realize it was going to be made into some sort of hash deal, but it was still good

Customer NO Service No one to seat us so seated ourselves as number of empty tables — when someone finally came to table told us we should not have done that? Took over 30 minutes for someone to take order and then forever to get food — others sending back orders as seemed to be issue in kitchen. Chicken stack was lukewarm at best and chicken dry and overcooked — as already been there hour did not send back as no time. Attitude of server needed work. We had tried this Marlow’s before on family recommendation and disappointed; then ate at Emory Pointe one and was good so decided to try local one again. Husband said Hamburger wasOK. We will not try this location again after 2 very bad experiences.

I am a day late, but loved my dinner at Marlow’s Tavern. To start off the ambiance is perfect! Dom lights, dark colors, fancy shamcy feel. It’s great for people in their 30s(like me) who wants to enjoy a drink without a lot of young people. The drink menu is the best!!! Patron margaritas are worth the price!!! I also love ordering champagne. I love all the menu items, but for a Saturday night the bake Brie appetizer was delish! Great food, mellow environment, great service!

Marlow‘s does a reasonably good job with the food selection but they fall short in 2 important areas 1st the food is not being held at a SAFETEMPERATURE in the kitchen,. The Chafers can only keep the food from loosing temperature .They are not designed to heat the food that comes only lukewarm from the kitchen. Some items were barely«Body Temperature » I tried to get my serving from the bottom of the pan and it was barely acceptable. The Health Inspector would have a «field Day«with the brunch buffet and Marlow‘s would loose lots of points from their current 91 A… 2nd the dessert section was rather poor. Just some brownies, cookies and a pound cake ! Really ?? that is the best you can do ??/

Came here for brunch with a friend on a early Sunday morning. The crowd didn’t pick up until around 12pm so I was seated right away. The coffee was good to start and then I hit the buffet there is a waffle and omelet bar which I must say was Delish. The have a round table of items from eggs, potatoes bacon and sausage to jack Daniels ribs, tilapia and mashed potatoes. The environment was nice sports bar like and the staff was very friendly but I must say our waitress was slow. All in all I would return to Marlows and maybe sit outside the 2nd flr patio depending on the weather. For the Sunday morning buffet plus coffee my tab came to 25 $ not to bad but I should have eaten more. Lol

I had brunch here about a month ago. This go round was my second attempt to try their brunch buffet. My first attempt was a few weeks prior and the line was too long and the vibe for me was off so I left. None the less I was talked into coming again. It was an ok experience with my sisters. There was barely a wait and I was a happy girl. The space is kind of cramped but it served its purpose. The food(minus the omelette and waffle station) are out in the lobby. Marlow’s is connected to a hotel(Double Tree). The buffet included grits, eggs, biscuits, bacon, sausage, shirt steak, breakfast potatoes, and some other items I can’t remember. The price was $ 20 bucks I think. The food was ok. I mostly enjoyed my made to order omelette and waffle. I think I might go again if invited. The staff was nice and attentive.

Food is above average but service is super slow. Also they have multiple TVs, but none of them are actually on all the games, instead it’s on fox news, Fox News really? It’s a tavern without the character. I’ll pass. Sorry, not sorry.

The chicken panini was good although it was a tad bit dry. I suggest a sauce, if it was I didn’t taste it. I also ordered the Caesar salad to go and they didn’t give me salad dressing. This is the second time this is happening.

The food here is very good, but the experience is mixed. I sat at a small table with elevated chairs and the chair kept sliding around in a big way. The floor is too slippery.

I spent an entire day in the Doubletree Hotel where this Marlow Tavern is located because I was in a conference. We were able to order lunch from the menu ahead of time and were served in the reception area promptly and each seat had our names. The food and service was great.

I would do marlows tavern over applebees and chilis anyday. one of my favorite there is prime rib with french dip. I do have to add some salt and pepper to the dip but other than that its pretty on point. Steak frites is good as well. came here for dinner… and also just for couple of bottles of wine over conversation with friends. Service have always been prompt and willing. I have also done the sunday brunch buffet. They have table setup with lots of breakfast stuff like gravy, sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, and many other tasty stuff. They have an omelet table with different topping that they make for you which was really nice. Sunday brunch is slightly more expensive than golden coral but you don’t have deal swarm of people and the food is little better.

I’ve got a suggestion for you — EATTHESHRIMPANDGRITS! Whoa Nelly! You won’t be disappointed, even if you hate the concept of a grit on your shrimp, you’ll love Marlow’s rendention of this recipe. It is mouth watering and a staple for the restaurant. They have recently overhauled their recipe so if you’re expecting to see the fish and chips and other favorites you’ll be out of luck. Not sure if they have updated the online menu, but be prepared for new menu items.

I absolutely love Marlow’s Tavern! I am never ever disappointed here. The grit cakes are amazing! I always get that or taste someone’s. This time I had the bison burger with fried onions & a salt baked potatoes. It’s a summer special, so come soon! I recommend sitting upstairs if the weather permits.
