I visited this location on Sunday evening. Service was real bad. I was told none of my credit/debit cards worked. All was declined. I was told to go to the ATM and come back with cash. If I can get cash off the card I should be able to use it. That was my thinking. The manager there was so RUDE. It’s was like I inconvenient her. Customer service doesn’t exist here.

Why do I keep trying this place. 2pm and they chicken was not hot and they gave me two spoonfuls of red beans and rice. Literally two bites worth. I wish they would have told me they were out and to pick another side. Ugh

I am a glutton for punishment. Because I insist on doing what DOESNOT work. I visited this place AGAIN in search of some fresh fried chicken. And it was after 8:30 pm and anybody in Tucker knows that the town shuts down at 8:00 pm. I waited patiently in line while I watched a customer shuck and jive with the wait staff for over 10 minutes just to place an order for chicken. The local panhandler showed up with a handful of cash and cut to the front of the line to place her order. You can find her asking for $ 20 almost every day at the Kroger down the street. After NOT being amused by the customer in front of me making«wife jokes» and having the local panhandler cutting to the front of the line as if she owned the joint I left. Life is too short for this. Now I wish them well but I will NEVER be back.

This one is so close to my house that I’ve stopped to get some fried chicken on a couple of occasions. The chicken tastes like it should, crispy and juicy, but the wait time and customer service is horrendous. Yet, I keep getting the crave and find myself coming back!

I was craving fried chicken and was headed to Matthews Cafeteria when I saw that 1). I would never get there before they stopped serving lunch, and 2). It was about to rain. So I decided to swing through Popeye’s. The wait wasn’t long and the girl who took my order was nice. I accepted her up-sell of apple pie and eagerly awaited my food. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize until I got back to my hotel that they had left off my mashed potatoes and gravy and gave me cherry pie instead of apple. But it’s ok. The chicken was tasty, as was the sweet tea and cherry pie. In, out, over with. I’d just suggest you check your order before you leave, but shouldn’t you always do that anyway? This would have been a solid 3-star, if they had gotten my order right. But it was lunchtime. These things happen. No harm, no fowl.

Horrible! I got to the window and asked about a special and before I could even finish my question, the woman over the speaker spoke over me! How rude is that? She spoke so fast, I could barely understand anything she said. When I finally got to the window she didn’t speak– she held her hand out to take my money and proceeded to speak to another employee about the car behind me. She handed me my food and my card without saying a word to me. I decided to check my order before pulling off after that horrid experience to find they forgot my corn. The employee realized it, then handed me an ear of corn outside the window as if it was MY fault. Disgusted… needless to say I won’t be back!!!

WHY, Popeye!!! Oh WHY!!! You are new and you want business. All I wanted was two chicken legs. That is it. Two chicken legs. 1 – 2. I waited a few minutes to be recognized at the drive through, but I could hear you chatting away. Please pay attention. You were kind and let me order my food and asked if I wanted regular or spicy. I wants two regular chicken legs. I then drove up to the window and you told me «Oh, we are going to give you one spicy and one regular because we only have one regular made right now and it is going to take at least 10 minutes for more chicken to be made.» This is not ok! I did not order spicy chicken. I would have asked for it. Also, it was 5:20PM. Yep, right when prime dinner customers are going to show up wanting chicken, and not just spicy chicken. Ugh!!! So disappointing.
