Wanting to attract birds to my front porch, these people were extremely helpful with advice on different types of feeders and the types of birds they attract, the pros and cons of different seeds, squirrel deterrents and also locally made bird houses.
Since I started 3 years ago, my front yard has become the Tucker Bird sanctuary. I enjoy seeing various birds out my front window all day long and we have had several «cycles» of birds nesting in our boxes.
I love how the owners work their shop, know my name and the products I have and buy. They have unique locally made yard decorations as well as a knowledge of «birding» I’ve never received anywhere else.
I like the people, recognize they have to pay rent for their space and I have a deep desire to support the businesses on Main Street.

Went in today, June 10, 2014. I wanted to like it, I wanted it to be fun, cute and NOT overpriced. It was cute, not fun, hot and over priced. I want to support indy stores/​owners but unfortunately, I won’t go back. I was greeted upon entering and was given a nice good-​bye but I went in for suet and found the markup more than I was willing to pay. How can you compete with Home Depot and WalMart by marking up the same exact brands they carry? The stock was pretty normal stuff except for (I guess) feed that excels that of store brands.
I wanted to browse however, it was so hot inside that I began to sweat quickly.
Sorry, but I won’t be back.
