It’s so nice to have a good restaurant in Tucker instead of having to drive to the Highlands. We’ll start with the areas of opportunity first: –The service was incredibly slow. –Wine was extremely high priced. –When calling to make a reservation, my questions of what time they closed and if they could seat 5 people were hard for them to answer. –What looked like the owner, along with our waiter, were taking shots(could’ve been why the service was so slow). — The food didn’t arrive at the same time. The areas where they nailed it: — The ambiance. — The selection of cups was very nice with a southern charm. — The flavors were all good, all of our dishes were well seasoned. — The pork chop was cooked to perfection and the beans were delicious. — The pot roast was cooked perfectly. — The portions were enough to fill you up. You’ll enjoy the charm!

Tucker has been in such need of a place like this and M572 hits the spot! Fantastic and trendy ambiance, locally sourced food, and amazing recipes. We came on a Saturday night and the place was packed(which is a pleasant change for Tucker restaurants). My husband had an old fashioned that he said was great, and it was reasonably priced at $ 10. We opted to try a lot of different things by getting all small plates. We ordered the brussel sprouts, shrimp and grits, small plate tacos which were filled with pork belly on this particular night, duck confit hash, collard greens, and cornbread. Honestly, even aside from the fact that we are thrilled a restaurant like this is in Tucker, all of our food was incredible. The bet shrimp and grits I’ve had in Atlanta and everything was truly fantastic. Oh and for dessert — the beignets — to die for. Service was fast and friendly, we were in and out in less than an hour and a half. We can’t wait to go back here!

Food is great. Service is slow. Wine prices are absurd. Hard to get in(need reservations) because Tucker is so starved for a quality dining experience. Air is smoky due to their wood fire oven. Even though they had HVAC folks there two weeks ago, it’s not much better. Don’t see why they can’t cure this problem. This restaurant is the shining epicurean star of Tucker! We have to go to Virginia Highlands or Midtown or Dunwoody to find food this good. I’ve had almost every dish they serve. $ 16 per glass for wines from other than California? Ouch! For the price point of this restaurant, I expect attentive service.

An inspired twist on upscale Southern cuisine. My husband and I had a fantastic meal here Saturday night. We called around 5 and they were able to get us a table at 7:30, which was a surprise because this joint was hoppin’ when we arrived, so I guess we lucked out. The open-concept shotgun style space is industrial, but still manages to be warm and inviting. We found the service to be informed and attentive, but not overbearing. Hubs really enjoyed his«That’ll do pig» drink and we started with crazy amazing smoked pimento cheese spread served with chiccharones. I seriously ate the whole tub of cheese it was so delicious. He also tried the cornbread and it was also a hit. For entrees he had the special which was a smokey pork loin served with sweet potatoes and I had the trout. We also had collards on the side. My fish was so light, flakey and buttery I couldn’t stop eating it. Hub’s pork was perfectly cooked and super tender. We finished the meal with some creamy crème brûlée – yum! I can’t wait to come back to this little gem in Tucker! It’s ITP level cuisine at OTP level traffic and prices.

We dined at this new Tucker addition Friday night, February 6, 2016 and had reservations which is essential as the food is excellent, service superb(friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive) and the décor pleasant & great ambiance with attention to detail. We started off with red pepper hummus and the smoked pimento cheese. Both delicious. Loved the grilled romaine salad, which was perfectly done. The Shrimp and Grits small plate was easily among the best I’ve had for the Atlanta area. I sampled a friend’s duck which was OK as I’m just not a fan. For a table of six we had a memorable birthday meal topped off with desert. The wines were top notch. Great evening. Great place. Recommend you try.

A few of us decided to check out this recently opened restaurant in downtown Tucker. The décor is «modern industrial» I guess you would say, pleasant and clean looking. The prices, however, are simply exorbitant. I had a mineral water and the scallops. My wife had a glass of pinot noir and the pot roast. The scallops and the pot roast were $ 23 and $ 19 respectively… i.e. the food was $ 42 for two of us before tax. The glass of wine and the glass of mineral water were $ 24. WHAT? This place is too expensive. The food itself was good, but the portions were very small, and no vegetable to go with my scallops and couscous. I was so hungry after leaving I made myself a sandwich an hour later. This place is a disappointment for me. I am not going back unless I want to experience an unfavorable price to meal exchange.

I attended a private party here with my husband and was blown away by how delicious the food was. They served a variety of appetizers at the party including the shrimp and grits, the brussels sprouts, and the mini pot pies, and each dish was delicious, fresh and complex in flavor. The ambiance in the restaurant is casual but chic, with gorgeous tables and décor, great lighting, and an impressive bar. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I are food people. So we were really excited to hear about M572 opening near us. We finally made it in this past weekend and everything was fantastic! The Shrimp and Grits special was easily among the best we’ve had. The Brussel Sprouts side with lemon and evoo actually was the best I’ve ever had. I went simple and had the Roasted Chicken w/collards. Also exceptional. Can’t wait to go again soon! Keep up the great work!

Tucker is coming on up — this place is great! The restaurant itself has a really comfortable vibe with soft lighting and a mix of industrial and cottage décor. Lots of nice touches in that department. Service was very good — waiter was helpful and pleasant. The food is a fresh take on southern/comfort food. We tried several of the small plates, one entrée, and dessert. All the food was really delicious and interesting. The small plates are actually small — probably need a couple of them to make a meal, although some of them work well for sharing as an appetizer or otherwise. The small plates are in the range of $ 8 and entrees are approximately $ 15-$ 25. I think the food was priced well and totally worth the money. Overall, this was a wonderful experience and I’ll definitely be back!

Food was excellent. Service was great. We had the filet of beef and scallops and both were perfectly cooked. I can’t wait to see this budding restaurant thrive in a city that lacks food creativity. All and all a 5 star experience!

We tried out M572 on the recommendation of a neighbor last night, and I’m so glad we did! You never really know what to expect from a brand new restaurant, but we were very pleased with the whole experience — the ambiance, the service, and the food! Firstly, they’ve done a great job with the remodel — it’s spot-on with the trendy«farmhouse chic» vibe. Secondly, the service was very good — our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Finally, the food was excellent! We ordered their take on fried green tomatoes as a starter — yum! The tomatoes were pickled(new to me, but delicious!), lightly breaded and fried, and served with a delicious creamy cheese. We loved them!!! We then shared the grilled romaine Caesar salad, which was perfectly done. Nicely grilled with some black edges but the lettuce was still crispy. Perfect! The lemon vinaigrette was not too heavy, and the prefect pick-me-up for a grilled salad! Next, my husband got the roasted chicken/greens/mashed potatoes(the milk-and-honey gravy was phenomenal!) and I ordered the trout with capers and lemon oil on Parmesan grits — so delicious!!! I’ve never had grits so rich or creamy, and the bite of the capers and lemon oil were perfect with the delicate fish and rich grits. Loved it so much! Finally, we had a lemon icebox tart(kinda like key lime pie) in a cute jelly jar. It was the perfect end to a big meal — not too sweet, not too tart, light, cool and satisfying! We will definitely be coming back here soon. I hope you give it a try! P. S. — they don’t have their liquor license just yet, but plan on getting it the week of 12÷14÷15. In the meantime, it’s BYOB with a great beer growler/wine store just across the street! No prob! P.P.S — Prices are very reasonable/what you’d expect: small plates = $ 6-$ 12, salads = $ 6-$ 8, entrees = $ 20-$ 30
