I am a big fan of Waffle House mainly because I get the same dish everywhere I visit one of their locations and it consistently tastes the same. I get a hashbrown all the way which has potato, cheese, jalapenos, ham, sausage gravy and chili. Yum. I am also a big fan of their friendliness and efficiency. Even when they look super busy, they are doing the best to keep the tables moving. While you are waiting for a table, your order is taken and once you sit down, they just make it. There is no waste of time.

I guess I tend to eat alone. This time i was joined by a very intriguing stranger. Made for pleasant conversation. Pretty blue eyes. Since I’m tired of online dating men who can’t afford to eat out by themselves let alone do so while engaging a complete stranger in conversation, I may follow up. Waffle House is cheaper than Match. And this one isn’t lying about being married.

Bad service! So unfortunate to arrive get the generic greeting and sit for at least 10 minutes to get a server to come to our table. The ham that I ordered tasted spoiled. I brought this to my servers attention. She never did anything about it. Then there was another person that proceeded to mop the floor around us with a smelly mop! This location will not get our business again!

Pulled over for a quick pick up to go, place was empty, served by a nice lady with red hair decked in pins all over her apron who was very sweet, professional and courteous, I couldn’t vouch for her coworker she didn’t look to happy and took a seat, the cook on the other hand was hooking it up. Ordered the all star special and another side of triple portion hash — country, covered and chunked,(ham, sausage gravy and cheese). Loved every bite of it but couldn’t get to the pancake, I was stuffed. I will be back to this location for sure!

Very poor, even for WH. The food came out just like anyone might have received with no other specific instructions. The floor was dangerously slippery, and the 2 of us that had walking braces; I with a cane and the other man on crutches and a cast that had been put on him during a 5.5 hour surgery days before. When the workers casually remarked oh, careful the floor is sweating up again! Really? Really?

All I want to say is that«They don’t really care about us» Yes MJ no truer words were ever sung. I’ve been to this location maybe about 3 times for take out orders & ever time I’ve come here instead of giving me what I wanted they give me what they want to make :( There aren’t a ton of things on the menu & i’m sure the cooks have made everyone of those items at least 5 times. Why can’t I get what I ordered?

Listen — they keep it clean, they know how to cook and they are all nice. But, the yelling Good Morning will kill you. Make sure, if you don’t like your eggs burnt, you say so before you order them.

The waffles and service were fine, but every table was gross and needed wiping down, the napkin dispenser had syrup stuck to it, the windows looked dirty too. Someone(a worker?) had left some Mo’s burrito food wrappers out on a counter. Why would you leave a rival’s food wrappers sitting out? Or maybe a customer had left it there hours earlier. The staff need to get off of their cellphones, take some pride in their work, and clean up the place. I’ll try it again in a year or so, but for now I was grossed out.

I dropped by this location because it is down the street from where I work. I was craving a grilled chicken salad from here because it’s quick and serves its purpose. It was of course during the lunch rush and my server didn’t catch my order correctly. I walked out with a side salad, grilled chicken sandwich and a large cup of chili. I wanted the cup of chili but wanted my strips of grilled chicken on top of the salad. Oh well, I was starving and was ready to jet so I accepted what I was served. Sure, it’s Waffle House so they serve their salads using iceberg lettuce instead of romaine but I like the red radishes, carrot discs, slices of yellow cheese and crackers. I was surprised that my server gave me a 20 oz cup full of chili which is more than double what you get served if you were dining in. I barely finished my chili but the salad was what I expected and the grilled chicken sandwich filled me up. The one thing I noticed about any grilled chicken order at WH is that it is on the saltier side. I’ll have to ask them to hold the salt, next time. The bathroom was clean and overall, the appearance of the restaurant was well maintained and orderly. Note to self: Next time I place an order, I need to use my «outdoor voice» as opposed to my indoor voice. Those who know me well know that my voice tends to project anyways and I’m pretty darn loud but today was the one exception where my server didn’t hear my correctly. ;) #Yelp 365– 27⁄365

At 5pm, the Waffle House has no hookers or crackheads. Just sayin’. If you’re looking to meet some, come back after 2am when all the clubs have closed. On the other hand, we enjoyed meeting the folks running the Waffle House second shift, even if it was admittedly the most boring shift on the planet. No other customers interfered with our chatter, and our server was spending her own money to play Beyoncé on the jukebox. We accidentally nearly walked out without ordering waffles, but solved that by having them for dessert.
