I love this place their breads are good, the employees are really nice, and they make really good food. the atmosphere inside is a little chaotic, i would reccomend getting it to go or eating outside.

Come on Guys! Where’s the Bacon? OK we’ve been Beyond Bread customers at since it first opened 17+ yrs ago. Most of the time the food is well-prepared and tasty. Portions have been fair … until today. Had a Bernie’s Bacon for breakfast and coffee. While the sandwich was prepared as usual; I noticed the bacon has literally shrunk in both size and quantity. One has to actually hunt for it. Once found inside its bacony slivers are hardly noticeable. Aw Come On!!! Let’s not be so stingy with the bacon — its makes the meal and it makes the Deal! This was a disappointment. Not quite a deal-breaker but it’s getting close. BTW the house coffee is now at full strength and hot = good! Either put more bacon in the meal or charge us less. RJ

I can’t believe I stopped at Beyond Bread on Campbell just South of Ft. Lowell. I hadn’t been there in years since the one opened at Speedway/Wilmot, because I thought they were chincey with the Meat on their sandwiches and too expensive. Even though i used to come here for their Bread and the desserts, they were just too expensive for my wallet. I felt like u were paying for their new fancy atmosphere. So to be fair and honest-I’m really blown away with not just the food, but the amount of food I bought for my money. Damn! The amount of food has finally caught up with the price! I just couldn’t believe how heavy my bag was-and then I opened my food. Ooohh Wee! Hands Down-I’m a regular again-I just hope the other ones hold the same standard especially Speedway/Wilmot-because I live closest to that one-Plus I do find myself on the Ina side of town on occasion. This food was«Off The Chain!» and I can’t believe I’m saying that about a chain. I’m one who looks and goes to the small independent hole in the walls kind of places. I never order from the menu without modifying it my way, so I ordered the Max’s Muffalatta-sub. Angus Beef for Pepperoni-kick Cin. Spiced Pecans and Red Onions. Add Swiss & Cheddar to the Provolone choice of Vinaigrette or Italian or both.(I added Ranch, try not too gross out-But I love it) then add Mayo/Mustard/Tomatoes-forgot the Mayo/Mustard though-it was one of my best creations Soo Good! Kudos to BB. Then I ordered the Angus Beef Management Salad and that’s when I really couldn’t believe MYEYES! That box must have weighed 4lbs-I’m guessing-but absolutely not kidding. The salad was enough for two greedy people or three side salads, and it was so «Choice“I added Ham for $ 3 more on top of Beef. The original price of food I give 5* because that was a lot of food for the price. I mean some Damn Good Food. I knocked it out of the ball park on price by adding my specials, but that’s me-I like things my way. I should mention I’m a Paraplegic, so I placed my order over the phone in parking lot and sent my Caregiver in to pick up food. It was hot and ready by the time he walked in and I had barely hung up-So Kudos for the service.

What can I say, this place does it for me. Best sando around. A sandwich is only as good as the bread, and theirs is well, beyond. I’ve been going here for quite sometime and I always hit it as much as I can when I’m in town. Don’t be dumb, go here.

I used to not like sandwiches until my bf constantly drag me along here after work. Had to admit I mix some of my affection over my bf with the food, just kidding. Love their Wed Sun Dry Chicken, probably my favourite, tried to make it once on a Saturday caz like it so much! Love their bread piece in the glass cabin, they by themselves are really good already.

Need to eat something that is satisfying as well as delicious? Look no further. Hands down best sandwiches you will ever eat! Speedy service, great prices and be or wine if you like. Veggie sandwiches as well as carnivore lover sandwiches. My favorites include Maya’s market, Paulys pesto and Brads beef. And don’t get me started on the bread… Simply heaven! For visitors or locals this is where you want to eat your lunch.

Every time I come to Tucson I make sure to come here. The bread is delicious! I can’t find that in Chicagoland burbs very often. Today I had a Duo of Green Chile Corn Chowder with Betty’s Brie on multi grain bread. The soup was rich and tasty with a nice hit of heat. The sandwich had layers of Brie, tender roast beef, lettuce, tomato, mayo. I think in retrospect the Brie was a bit thick but overall tasty.

Yikes!!! Jessica was our cashier/hostess, and WOW! I’m sorry but she was so rude, and impatient taking our order. Very snippy and short. I actually would have bought more, but she kept asking us «Is that it» and hitting the total button. We don’t live in Tucson anymore so when we come into town we always hit Beyond Bread and stalk up on sandwiches, bread, and desserts. On the very positive side I have been going to Beyond Bread since the Speedway location opened, and in ten plus years this is the only bad experience I have had. I’m sorry about the 4 stars this is really a 5 star restaurant, but I couldn’t excuse the service. I will just go to the Speedway or Ina location from now on.

If this is not the best sandwich restaurant in Arizona much less Tucson, I don’t know who is! This is easily the best food we have in Tucson, and we should appreciate and bow down to the greatness, which is beyond bread!

Beyond Bread is one of my favorite places in all of Tucson! Delicious breads and sweet treats made on site and fresh fresh fresh!!! The menu offers a selection of sandwiches and salads that will make your head spin and the serving sizes are massive!!! You won’t leave hungry, but do try to leave room for something in the dessert case. My personal favorite is the magic bars! Don’t forget to pick up a loaf of fresh bread, they can slice it for you as well so it’s super fresh and ready to eat when you get home…(or if you’re like me to steal a slice and eat it in the car like an animal!) One of my favorite things about Beyond Bread is how easy it is to call in a take out order and go. This place is packed beyond belief(see what I did there:) during lunch. So call in your order ahead of time and beat the line, you can still enjoy the dog friendly patio or eat there.

I got the chicken pesto my fiancé got the turkey club. The sandwiches are awesome. They taste good and the portion sizes are huge. The customer service here was good as well. The place is always packed during peak times. Good luck finding a parking spot at lunchtime that is the only negative is that the parking lot is too small, but what can you do. They’re churning out breads an sandwiches as fast as they can. Definitely will come back

Went here for lunch, they have everything from beer to wine, to fresh made bread, to sandwiches & soup. Even a kids menu… This is a great place to come eat for lunch, the portions are HUGE for the $$(which is great) the meat was fresh, the bread was perfect and the desert was even better! I got the Burts Bag sandwich, it came with a bag of chips(which they make) and I had a fresh baked cookie. I did not leave hungry I can tell you that… I had to wrap up the rest of my sandwich and ate it later for dinner(and I can eat a lot) I suggest this place to anyone who likes a good sandwich!!!

Beyond Bread is great for breakfast, lunch or dinner! They offer selections for carnivores, omnivores, pescatarians and vegetarians! There is definitely something for everyone — and now they offer beer and wine in addition to coffee, tea, delicious iced tea and fountain drinks. Their baked goods are gigantic, so great for sharing or bringing to a party! This place is definitely my «go-to» lunch spot, even though it can get a little crowded and busy. I’ve never waited too long for my food, and it always tastes fresh! On any given day you will see cyclists enjoying a meal after a ride, folks having lunch meetings, families after soccer practice, and just regular Tucson folks having a quick lunch! They recently shook things up by taking away the butter for the free bread samples — but it’s probably healthier for us, anyway. They still have the free bread, so that’s what matters! My favorite items: Joel’s Jolt, Maya’s Market, and the Chicken Tortilla Soup in a bread bowl(green chile, not tomato based!). Oh, and for a treat, try the pasta salad — it’s made with orecchiette!

Beyond Bread was a great spot to have lunch! I had Collete’s Cordon Blue sandwich on sourdough. The food was served promptly, and it had a great blend of cheese, honey mustard, and chicken. The bread was fantastic, and my friend’s focaccia was also very tasty. The portions were significantly better than equivalents like Panera, and the sides that come with a sandwich include healthy options like carrots and baked chips! The location was clean, and the staff was super friendly.

Great casual place with excellent food, soup, beer and bread. I love the Tomato Basil and I usually do a DUO with half sandwich and soup. Good stuff. Sometimes the crust on the bread is a little hard, but tasty. Beer selection is okay and you can growler it. They also have excellent deserts to browse. Casual night or lunch or drop by later for desserts.

Beyond Bread is like PANERABREADONSTEROIDS. order at the counter & bring your sign which educates you about ingredients(instead of a number) to your table SOMANYSANDWICHES&SALADS to choose from, they even have bread bowls & baked desserts sandwiches AREHUGE& come w/a free side(although some sides cost extra). next time i’d go for a half sandwich –avi’s avocado: good but nothing amazing, any avocado lover will think this sandwich is decent, ALTHOUGH it went well w/the spicy chipotle cream cheese that my mom got on the side of her zoe’s zinger. the top of the ciabatta bread was really good but the bottom part was too hard –zoe’s zinger: only had room to try a piece of the pretzel bread but it was good –kettle chips: WAY too oily –side salad: extra $ 1 NOTE: free bread samples when you walk in w/butter to spread(really liked the nut & grain bread we tried)

I used to always drive by Beyond Bread, but it never really interested me because to me, bread is just nothing but meh: a basic staple in my life. «What was so special about it?» I kept asking myself. Just your usual sandwich, salad, and soup shop. A friend of mine recommended this place to me, and I immediately became curious: how exactly can you go «beyond» bread? After my visit there, they should probably rename themselves«Beyond good bread» since the bread at Beyond Bread is beyond good! When I first came in with my friend for lunch, I saw their menu was pretty huge! They had more cold sandwiches than hot sandwiches, but they also had selections on soups, salads, and even mac and cheese. It took me plenty of time to decide what I wanted, but I ended up going for the Roger’s Roast while my friend went with the Enzo’s Ending. After we got our order, we were given a stand that said«Coffee Cake» on it. I thought it was really creative and a great idea because it gave me something to do while I was waiting for my food. Who knew that coffee cake(at least the one at Beyond Bread) was made with sour cream as opposed to coffee??? Not only that, but in front of their counter, they have a little stand that contains several different pieces and types of bread. They also included some type of butter spread(Hey! That rhymed!) that you could spread onto the bread(Hey! That rhymed too!). We both liked our sandwiches, which came on toasted Philly Pretzel Rolls. Enzo’s Ending was like an Italian-style sandwich while Roger’s Roast had roast beef, lettuce, cheese, and horseradish sauce. I loved the Roger’s Roast! My friend liked the Enzo’s Ending as well. We both ordered kettle chips as our side, and they were beyond good as well! If there’s one bad thing I had to say about Beyond Bread, it’s the fact that it can get overcrowded because of how great their food is. Luckily, you can order your food to go if there’s not enough seats in the restaurant. Beyond Bread is only in Tucson, so if you ever come to Tucson even for one day, you MUST visit Beyond Bread! I can only say good things about the Roger’s Roast and probably the Enzo’s Ending, but really you won’t be disappointed with any sandwich there(unless the bread is too hard that it breaks your teeth, but even so, their menu specifically tells you which sandwiches have bread hard enough to break your teeth). Have your 5-year old do eenie-meenie-miney-moe in front of the cashier. You’ll end up a happy customer whichever way your kid points(as long as it’s not out the door).
