Budget Inn Motel

Maybe a 1 star rating is a bit harsh considering I did leave without herpes, stab wounds, or a stolen car. But this hotel seems like something you would find in the slums of Mexico, not even the slums of Tuscon. The only reason I stopped in here was because I was falling asleep on the freeway and had to exit and get to the closest hotel possible. I saw other options in the distance but I would have most likely died getting to them. So I showed up to the budget inn in Tuscon at 5am and paid my $ 39 to get enough rest to get me safely to Surprise. I spent 4 hours sleeping on a bed that my dog wouldnt even have slept on, and the guy directly above me was chopping away on a table. Must have been a damn good chef cause he was chopping when I fell asleep and chopping away when i woke up. Hooker was walking the perimeter which added a nice flair. Oh and my favorite part was the «Check out at 10am» written in crayon on my door. The toilet surprisingly flushed which was more than I could say for the $ 200 hotel I paid for earlier in Houston. It was definitely a nice ending to a 1500 mile trip from Mobile Alabama to Surprise AZ. Like the other review mentioned, the Indian (man in my case… at least i think) was very friendly, although a little startled that I woke him up at 5am and walked out to take payment with no shirt on. And I feel completely ripped off that I paid $ 39 and the other reviewer paid $ 30. I was 1 of 2 people staying there. Just me and the chef.

Nice place if you want to experience the Tucson ghetto scene. What do you want for 30 bucks?
It is close to the freeway which is good. Because you will want a quick escape. No kidding, my motel room door had kleenex plugging a hole on the inside of the door. I assume this was from a gunshot. Room 112 if you want to see for yourself. Nice Indian lady running the place though.
I escaped without harm, but I left at 2:30 AM for fear of damage to my car.
