I’ve been here with my wife once and we were very pleased with the experience. Today I joined a group for lunch and once again everything was excellent. I had the lasagna while others had calamari salad, spaghetti and a Torrino burger. The portions were very generous and delicious. I was particularly impressed with the size of the calamari salad and equally impressed when my friend was able to finish it.

Stopped by for Happy Hour. The food was OK, but way overpriced for the area. Tried the Pizza and a couple other appetizers — they were good, but not a value for HH. Harvest right across the parking lot has a much better selection and better food.

Best Italian I ever had. I’ve tried several Italian restaurants but never had the food and experience I had with Caffè Torino. Service was great. Thank you to Richard! Your service was impeccable. You should try the fettuccine and the lamb. What can I say about the dessert? Well I’m still enjoying it.

Love the atmosphere the half-price bottle of wine on Tuesday, the fried calamari is not to be missed. Don’t forget the spaghetti and meatballs. A great find in the foothills.

What a cute Italian place! Came here on a Thursday night for date night and was really blown away with everyone who worked there. We walked in and couldn’t find anyone to help us but after a few moments, someone came out apologizing and joking with us which was quite nice. We were seated in the outdoor patio area(couldn’t be any cuter!). For an appetizers, we shared the baked brie. It was so good and gooey and just delicious. For an entrée, I had the prosciutto and pea pasta and my boyfriend had the spaghetti and meatballs. Although I liked my dish, I wish the prosciutto was thinly sliced rather than big chunks but it was still really good! We can’t wait to come back and try something else off their menu!

So disappointed about our dining experience. We made reservations for two. When we were seated, we asked for a booth. We were told they were saved for the parties of four they were expecting. Okay, I can understand that however during our dinner, the booths were given to several parties of two. The service was inconsistent and became worse as the dinner continued. The antipasto plate was good and the crab cakes were tasty. The Caesar salad was fair but not great. The shrimp and scallop risotto was terrible. Way too pricy for three scallops and three shrimp. After we were served, the wait staff disappeared. We had to wait for over thirty minutes for our bill. A beautiful restaurant but not sure if I’ll return.

Visiting AZ from RI and went to this place on a whim for dinner … The service was slow but friendly. I can get past that. What I can’t get past is bland food. We ordered the calamari as a starter and maybe it’s better than other calamari in this area but by my standards are a bit higher being from the east coast. The sauce was flavorless. It needed garlic, seasonings and to be cooked longer … The calamari itself wasn’t great. I ordered the linguini with white wine garlic sauce with clams shrimp and scallops. The fish was actually good … But the sauce tasted like. nothing. No flavor stood out particularly. Couldn’t taste garlic or wine or anything. I had to add a lot of cheese to even make it bearable. I was really disappointed. My friend got the steak with mashed potatoes. The mashed were really good. She liked the steak… The veggies on the side were a bit over done. Overall wasn’t thrilled with this place. If you’re used to mediocre Italian food. Then go for it. But if you come from NY, NJ, RI. Anywhere that prides themselves on flavorful and delicious food. Then I would steer clear.

We dined here on a fluke but am glad that we did! We stopped in at Whole Foods for a drink and then decided to get some dinner. We spotted the very inviting patio and headed that way. First off the hostess, that ended up being our waitress, could not have been more inviting. She welcomed us with a smile and promptly seated us outside on the lovely patio. The patio was lit up with lights and a really nice jazz band was playing that made the environment all the better. Happy hour was taking place so we each got a glass of wine and before happy hour was up, she brought us another glass so we could get the h.h. prices. This was without asking, which I think makes for a fantastic server! We both enjoyed our entrees. I had the simple spaghetti and meatballs. I shouldn’t call it simple because the meatballs were on point. Very moist and full of flavor. And I loved the sauce because it was full of garlic and I love garlic :) For dessert we had the brownie cake with ice cream and wow what a dessert! It was rich, warm, gooey and it’s what little Debbie only wishes she could be. Oh, and the waitress brought us a complimentary glass of wine that she said paired well with the dessert, which it did. This was a winner all the way around! The End.

We had four different entrees and they were all terrific. My spouse has the fish special and the layers of flavor were wonderful. I had the risotto with scallops and shrimp with a lemon butter sauce and peas. It was fantastic! My grandson has the ravioli with green noodles and red meat sauce. It was consumed so quickly that no one else got a taste. He wants to come back and order it again. Our son’s meal was great as well. We will be back.

Just about everything you could want from a restaurant dining experience. About as close as it gets to me feeling like I’m getting my money’s worth from fine dining. I had the best steak of my life at this place. It was a ribeye covered in their gorgonzola-mushroom sauce. It blew my mind. They have great food, great service, a classy but casual atmosphere, live jazz and the nicest outdoor patio I’m aware of. What’s not to like? My only complaint is that they aren’t open for breakfast. I live nearby, so if they were open for breakfast I’d be there at least twice per week. If they were open for Sunday brunch, I’d make it a ritual.

Duck ragu:.I don’t think so. 2 out of the 6 ordered this & agreed it tasted like beef & was so disappointing. Yes, beers are served super cold as well as great wine selection(Napa Valley Prisoner is great). Tessa deserves 4 stars for her service. Patio seating with Jazz musicians was awesome. All this after waiting 90 min after our reservation time.

My favorite Italian restaurant(if not restaurant in general) in town! I live about 5 minutes away so I come here often. I’ve tried most of their pasta dishes and appetizers and I’ve NEVER been disappointed. The sauces are all flavorful, and the pasta is always cooked perfectly. The bread and olive oil/vinegar they give pre meal is delicious. The staff is always super knowledgable and friendly including the owners who are lovely. Their brunch is also incredible. I love this place and will continue to be a regular as long as theyre open!

Torino in the Foothills has become a neighborhood favorite with outstanding Italian and Mediterranean dishes, a good to excellent wine list, and attentive and friendly staff. Favorites include the osso bucco and whatever the fish special of day may be. All is always prepared with an excellent experience in mind.

The best Italian food I have eaten since I have left New York. The service was as excellent as the food, the ambience was extremely pleasant and comfortable. I and my family will be returning whenever we are in Tucson for lunch or dinner.

This place is so delicious! The first time we came here was for my friend’s birthday. We all ordered different dishes and we loved all of them! I went with the good old spaghetti and meatballs and it was far better than I expected. The usage of bacon in their spaghetti really brought out the flavor in the dish. This place was so good that we came back again a month later just for the spaghetti and meatballs. Haha

Great service and fresh food. We loved every single item we ordered. The prosciutto and mozzarella ciabatta was amazing and the sausage zuppa tasted great as well! Looking forward to trying the dinner menu.

Awesome! My girlfriend and I had some friends from back east fly in to Phoenix and we decided to stop for dinner on the way down to Sierra Vista. We are so glad we did. The staff was very friendly on the phone, got us reservations on short notice which was awesome. We were promptly seated, the ambiance was nice and the folks working were very pleasant. Our waiter, Michael, was supurb and very nice. He was very knowledgable about the menu, polite, and answered all my questions… even a couple silly ones. We will demand to be seated in his section the next time, and we will certainly be back. I had the spaghetti alla checca, which was delicious. My girlfriend got linguini alla scoglio, which she said was amazing, and she was happy to have found seafood that was good in this desert state. Then came dessert; I don’t do sweets, but according to everyone else at the table, the salted caramel crème brulle was really good. Overall this place is awesome, and we will be dining here again.
