So very, very bad. Do not waste your money by going here. The place smells like sewage and the«food» is stale, tasteless and rubbery. We wasted $ 30 here.

I love Chinese food and this is no where close to anything that I would resemble as Chinese food! Positive: ummmm none Negative: I got beef and broccoli and when I received it the broccoli was brown. The staff and cook said that it was brown because they sear the broccoli, sorry folks not believing it… my daughter ordered sweet and sour chicken, just the chicken and the sauce on the side. One they didnt bring it like we ordered it(sauce on and all the veggies) and two the sauce did not taste like sweet and sour. It was disgusting!!! The staff was lazy, the atmosphere was fast foodie and it was dirty. They tired to tell me that they were switch names to the Mandarin Grill and I flat out told them that this is not Mandarin Grill and I wont be coming back!

Worst Chinese food I’ve eaten in Tucson, and I’ve lived here 29 years and am very fond of this type of food. I read this place was owned by the people formally of Mandarin Grill… if this is true, they lost the recipes in the move. Ordered chicken lo main combo(which they list as soft noodle chow main). It was mostly cabbage and green onion, didn’t have much flavor other than cabbage, onion, and garlic. The lack of noodles and chicken was disguised by a pile of poorly made, dry fried rice and a tiny, flavorless egg roll. The hot and sour soup wasn’t bad but it smelled odd, kind of like canned dog food. It was also very hot in the restaurant. It was ten minutes till noon and they hadn’t yet turned on the a/c in the dining area. They turned it on after I ordered, so by the time it had cooled off at all I was done. And there were tons of flies harassing me.

I got F’d in the drive thru. I’m sure the food is great, but instead of a great Chinese chicken salad I got home with a big bowl of dry veggies & chicken. lol They forgot the dressing. :(

My gosh, this place is awful! In fact, I only remembered that I hadn’t reviewed it because I recently visited a restaurant just as bad in San Angelo, TX with a similar name. Seriously. this place was better when it was an Arby’s! My mom took me here once because she claimed to like it. I should have known not to expect much as she isn’t a fan of Chinese food at all. Anyways, when I was with her, they’d just opened so I chalked up the so-so experience to them just getting off the ground. It took a little research to find out they were some of the people who owned/ran Mandarin Grill(?) over by Jerry Bobs on Cortaro/Thornydale which is now closed. And, side note. what the hell happened?! Mandarin Grill was actually pretty good. Anyways. I decided to give it another try and took my husband here. The first thing that hit us as weird was that they have surveillance signs up. No classy – or even decent! – place, I’ve ever been to has had the need to make people know«we’re watching you!» The second thing was the smell. Oh, gawd it was like hot garbage and sewer. Yuck. We STILL decided to eat here(I don’t know why) and man, we shouldn’t have. I don’t remember exactly what we ordered, but that both plates were swimming in gelled sauce. It was so gross my husband refused to eat his. Obviously, they weren’t fresh and nothing tasted good. They did update the interior a bit the second time I’d been there, but whoopty-doo, it’s not like we’d be eating the décor. It also wasn’t anything to write home about. The place still has that Arby’s feel to it. I can see this place going under in a heartbeat. The food sucks, the service is average at best, and there are several other(and better!) Chinese restaurants nearby.

Bleh!!! If I could give this restaurant zero stars I would. Disgusting. Man, when Chinese food is bad, its REEEEEALLY bad. Went around 7pm. SO had orange chicken and I had the wings. Neither one of us could even finish our food. It was vomit inducing. As for atmosphere… it looked and smelled like it was still under construction. Not conducive to holding back the vomit from trying to eat this nasty food. Please! For the love of Chinese food… DONOTEATHERE!!!

Probably one of the best tasting Chinese Take-Out joints in Tucson. I’m constantly spoiled by their free delivery service to my apartment which takes about 30 minutes or so. Although the menu is pretty simple, the taste is great(aside from the generic sweet&sour sauce) and comes in decent sized portions. The only problem I’ve had so far have been their order-takers. You should consider yourself lucky if they can get your order right the first time. I recommend calling ahead and picking it up yourself.

The old Arbys has been transformed. It is now Chinese selling combo meals from as little as $ 5.99 to no more than $ 8.95. Cheap eats in sufficient quantity for a meal. No MSG. Free delivery in a limited area for a $ 10 minimum. The owners claim this is not just another Panda Express or «Americanized Chinese Food,» but on my visit, it looked like standard Americanized Chinese food: Moo Goo Gai Pan; Orange Chicken; Sesame Pork; Mongolian Beef or Chicken; Fried Rice; Won Ton Soup; Egg Rolls and about 20 other predictable Americanized dishes. But if you stop and think, would we really eat authentic Chinese Food? Think, chicken heads and feet, fungus, dogs and cats. Yum yum! If you sold authentic Chinese food in the US, you’d be broke in a New York second. The only dishes that seemed that they might be authentic were the Keyone and Yazzyon Soups. I searched the net and no one has a record of such a soups, so they probably aren’t Authentic Chinese. The«Y» soups are a pricy $ 7.50 per bowl. After tasting several of the dishes, this place earned only one star. The Mongolian Beef was horrible and a dish that I could not eat: spongy texture to the meat, and sickly sweet instead of spicy as promised. Two of the chicken dishes had better texture, but still too sweet and really lacking in flavor. The egg rolls were soggy, white steamed rice ok, shrimp fried rice was passible but bland. Too bad, no Brown Rice. Of six meals consumed, no one gave a rating better than two. I’m still a bit intrigued by the Y Soups, but afraid I’d be wasting my time and my money and still walk away hungry as I did when I left my Mongolian Beef. All in all, this is the second worst Asian food I’ve ever eaten. I’d rather have Panda Express any day. Or the Arbys it used to be. And I’m not a big fan of either.
