This was the first chinese food that was great since moving from Florida almost 3 years ago it’s always been a hit or miss in Tucson! The egg drop soup was delicious, an the fried rice was just how I like it! Lastly the place was extremely clean, which always makes me feel even better. Thank you Jade Garden for the delcious food! Ps– portion sizes are huge split meals especially if you choose the family meal.

I really enjoy this place. The nice lady is always polite and on standby to assist you with anything you may need. The décor is put together well and accents the theme. I have not had a bad order with them. You get very large portions with your order and cant forget about the fortune cookies!

Normally I’d give at least a 4. But after home ordering and not getting what I ordered and getting charged for which really irritates me, so after 1 ¾ hours after my order was placed, I received my egg rolls, not with sweet and sour which they are suppose to come with, but hot mustard sauce??? I am a frequent patron of this establishment and a good tipper, but sorry. I think it’s time to find somewhere new.

I have had Jade Garden deliver to my home on numerous occasions. I have always been happy with both service and food. I will say that it is a bit pricy, but one comes to expect that when being too lazy to get dressed and actually go pick food up. For those that are looking for immediate delivery(30 minutes or less), this is not the delivery food for you. For the quality I am happy to wait the 45 or so that it takes.

I’m giving Jade Garden a one because I ordered delivery 4x from them. One time the food arrived in 30 minutes, but 3 times it took OVER an hour. My last and final straw was waiting an hour and thirty minutes for our food!!! Unbelievable… Did I mention we live down the street? I had to call them twice… I thought the guy was walking our food over or something? Regardless… I’m done with Jade Garden. The owner didn’t even offer us any form of compensation except for an apology. Bottomline: snails work here…

No way. I ordered take out for a meeting from here. The dining room seemed moderately clean and a sign noted it was Best in Tucson 2013. I put the Chinese food in my car and went back in to use the restroom. That’s when I saw the dirty condition of the bathrooms, kitchen and the back of the restaurant. I couldn’t eat the food after seeing it. It was that bad. Things don’t have to be fancy, but get a bottle of Formula 409 cleaner and empty the overflowing trash. They also gave my order one box of rice for $ 30 in meals to share?

Horrible Customer Service!!! Ordered food online and saw the food when I walked in. I was told«Food not ready» and the seated 3 other parties. Then When I was able to actually pick up the food, they asked for my credit card. Although I placed the order online with my card!!! When I asked why it was needed again I was told that they don’t actually run it through the website. Forget about coming back here! Pei Wei or GMG will get my business from now on!

I’ve never been to a restaurant with staff so rude, and I’ve been to Dick’s Last Resort. Rudeness is a gimmick at Dick’s, but not here. They will treat you like garbage, especially if you want your food delivered. Your food will be cold, and if you call to complain, you will be told to just pick it up next time you order. It’s a shame, because the food is spectacular.

I ordered delivery on a Thursday. Food arrived way quicker then expected and the delivery person was extremely polite. I wish I had had more cash on hand to tip him more. I ordered the hot and spicy beef, snow pea chicken, pork bbq fried rice, crab puffs, and egg rolls. No complaints, everything tasted excellent. Will definitely order again!

For the last 3 times I have ate here after 30 minutes I would have to go to the bathroom I believe this place is very dirty looked them up on health department website and find out why. Food is actually not bad but way inconsistent depends on which cook is cooking or how he feels… Thanks but no thanks

Always fresh, well worth the price, amazing flavor. Its my favorite Asian food place, they take pride in what they cook there, very family oriented. I order and stop in often. Highly recommend!!!

This is typical American-Chinese fare. My wife and I stopped in for Friday night dinner. We got a half-order of crab rangoon — which are better than most you can get in Tucson. Also ordered before the entrée were soups; I got the won ton soup, which came loaded with wontons, pork strips, and vegetables, and my wife got egg drop soup, which she thought was average. For entrees, I ordered General Tso’s Chicken. Sadly, the pieces were more breading than chicken. My wife got the tamarind shrimp, which was a much better choice. It came with lots of shrimp and was lightly breaded witth a nice citrus taste. The service was excellent, with our server making sure our glasses were full and cheerily delivering the food. If it weren’t for my disappointing entrée this review would be a 4⁄5. I think I’ll give Jade Garden another chance, but for now I’m calling it average. This might just be the kind of place where you have to know what to order…

Great food, delivery and very nice staff! Their menu is wonderfully varied and diverse. The Singapore House Noodles are my favourite! We love that they deliver to our neighbourhood.

kind of disappointed. Not that the food was bad, it was just not very good. Everything tasted fishy. Not going to be a regular.

I base my reviews on how good their almond/cashew nut chicken is. If they can’t do that right then I’m sure the rest of the menu sucks as well. This place was actually pretty good. Their soup, Eggroll and almond chicken had great flavor. The interior is nothing fancy but clean and service was very attentive. My only drawback was the temperature inside was pretty warm and they do not honor their lunch menu on a Monday Labor Day afternoon. Other than that, the food here is good.

I tried Jade Garden for convenience because they deliver to my residence and I did not feel like leaving my home. This was a big contributing factor in me choosing this restaurant for lunch today. I had the Family Dinner C which offered a good amount of variety for the price. I thought this was the best bang for your buck. It offered soups, egg roll, and crab puffs… yikes! The crab puffs were average– nothing out of the ordinary. The soup I chose was the hot and sour soup— a little thick in consistency for my liking but otherwise it was good. The egg roll had a different flavor, almost sweet. It had just the right amount of crunch to it. For my meat, I chose the mongolian combo– it had beef, chicken, and shrimp. I will definitely get this again. the flavor was great! I also tried the house lo mien without shrimp, just chicken and beef… very good. I loved that this place delivers, it was quick and easy. They even allow you to pay with debit card at your front door. They also leave a space for tip… some places tip has to be cash. I will definitely order from this restaurant. I recommend it if you’re looking for good Chinese food. Nothing extremely to die for but it was good.

It’s your typical Chinese restaurant. Nothing that jumps out for me except their awesomely cheap lunch specials! For just $ 5.25 you get an entrée, rice, egg roll, wonton, & soup! Pretty good deal, huh? I’ve had this place several times before for take out, delivery, and dine in. All I can say is that the service is a-ok. Food is made pretty fast, so if you’re coming for lunch, you’re in and out well before your hour is up. I’ve only been here or ordered take-out during lunch, so here’s my experience in dining in… the waitress is hardly in the dining area, but somehow appears when you start to need her. There’s probably a two-way mirror looking into the dining area.Lol. Most of the time, she just comes when the meal is served, and when we are ready to go. As for the food, it’s alright. Don’t get me wrong, I really like the food, but nothing worth raving about, it’s just your regular Chinese fare. My go-to favorites are the BBQ Spare Ribs, Curry Chicken, and the Sesame Chicken lunch specials(order them with fried rice!). Yummy! FYI, they charge extra if you are paying with a credit card and your bill is under $ 10. My friend and I usually put our tab on one bill and pay each other back. Also, if you opt for delivery, your order must be over $ 11. I’ll definitely keep coming back. Jade Garden has good Chinese food for lunch at the right price!

Sesame chicken, extra spicy please! Best Chinese food around. I have a soft spot for Jade Garden but this five-star rating is well deserved. You see some 17 years ago my then 15 year old daughter got her 1st job at Jade Garden as a hostess. Three years later her little sister followed in her footsteps and took on the same job. This little neighborhood gem was so good and popular. A few years passed and the owner sold the business and it went downhill. But another change of hands occurred along the way and the quality and taste was back! I placed a takeout order of sesame chicken(extra spicy) BBQ pork low mein(with carrots & broccoli added) and half an order of crab puffs. Wow, enough food to feed me for days! Jade Garden’s sesame chicken is fantastic but when ordered as extra spicy… holy moly is it good! The low mein is flavorful and packed full of BBQ pork and veggies. I can’t stand when low mein leaves that greasy film in your mouth and thankfully Jade Garden’s low mein doesn’t do that at all. The crab puffs are perfectly fried to a golden brown and so delicious with a slight crab taste. I haven’t eaten inside the restaurant in about three years but when I did I enjoyed excellent service and a delicious meal. However on a Sunday evening when I am still wearing grubby house cleaning clothes, take out is perfect!

In Tucson Chinese and Asian can be hard to find, let alone a good rendition. This place is my choice for Chinese in Tucson. Prices are amazingly low, portions are large, flavors are bold and the ingredients were quality what more can one ask for. I oped for a spicy dish full of veggies mushrooms and tofu,(this describe 90% of vegetarian dishes) I had it made extra spicy, which meant it came with a few red peppers in it. I also had some chilli oil on the side. I do wish that they had this and sambal on the tables vs needing to ask for it. One unique feature of the dining room is the window to the kitchen, it is a fish tank. A neat tacky concept that I love and expect from this type of place however it may cut down on the seafood orders as having a fish stare you down while you eat his kin is a bit daunting.
