Computer Renaissance

The entire staff goes above and beyond to please and help. I have had two laptops serviced there and now made my first purchase from them. This store is HONEST AND TRUSTWORTHY! Thank you for restoring my confidence in a local computer business in Tucson.

Went there to pick up a laptop for my kids. Good service and the staff were very pleasant. A little pricey though but you get what you pay for.

I went into computer renaissance looking for several products. The salesman who greeted me was incredibly rude. Cutting me off before I could finish any of my questions. Me: «Do u have any xbox controllers for windows or any other type of pc» salesman: «No we can order one if u absolutely need us to.» ME:” Do u have any 4 pin molex to 3 pin fan adapters.” Salesman. «No u don’t need them.» Two other inquiries went this way. They either did not have what I needed or were ridiculously overpriced. I needed a 2.5 hdd enclosure. They had one but it was usb 2.0. For 20 $ sws has 2.5 hdd enclosures usb 3.0 for 16 $? What the heck. The salesman did finally get me the fan adaptors I needed from the techs in the back. Used ones with no packaging. Which he had the nerve to charge me 5 dollars a piece for then told me if I bring them back it’s 20% restocking fee. I will never go back.

THE WORST! we dropped off a laptop as it would not connect to the wifi on ⁰²⁄₂₀. the motherboard was supposedly CORRUPT! BULL!!! the wiped the computer, sent it back with NOTHING ON IT!!! and charged us $ 180.00!!! when all it was it happened to be the wifi button that they FINALLY told us about 03/​12/​2014, was off!!! we are turning them over to the BBB!

The staff at Computer Renaissance seem friendly and helpful, but the prices are very inflated. I went in to do some browsing as I was on the hunt for a used PC, and was amazed at the prices they were charging for used computers that were several years old. I can’t speak to the repair and diagnostics side of their business, but if you’re in the market for a used computer, I’d look elsewhere.
