I took my whole family here for Mother’s Day brunch(18of us) we were treated very well and the waitress was amazing! Thank you.

This morning’s breakfast was well prepared. The over-medium eggs were just right, hash browns crispy and the ham was good.

Terrible experience. Probably the reason that I’d never heard of this place when I went with a friend for lunch the other day. I ordered a salad, the Asian chicken to be exact, and was terribly disappointed. The salad was actually just a little iceberg lettuce chopped up. Nothing very appetizing about iceberg, but it was around $ 10 so I wasn’t going to be too hard on it. But then there was barely any chicken. A lot of the chicken was chewy in a strange way. Most of the salad itself was actually a butt-ton of tortilla strips. It was mostly tortilla. Friend ordered a vegetable burger with mushrooms. They forgot mushrooms and instead gave her a butt-ton of pickles she’d asked them not to include. It was taken back but they didn’t replace the bun that had pickle juice on it. Just removed the pickles and slapped some grilled mushrooms on top. I’m not a big complainer, but that seems lazy to me. I ordered two slices of pie to take home. Despite the waitress saying they had the salted caramel crème that I wanted, she came back a good 8 minutes later to tell me they were out. I changed to one chocolate silk and one pumpkin harvest slice. Both were pretty good. I was not a huge fan of the crust on the pumpkin harvest, but it was tasty overall. Mostly, the service was bad, which added to lack-luster foods. The waitress took forever to get us drinks. Even longer to notice we needed refills. There seemed to be one waitress for about five tables, but I expected a bit more attention to detail. When we asked for the check, we waited(yes, literally) for 22 minutes before getting the check. The waitress disappeared and when she came back to wipe down a table across from us she looked over and said, «Oh, are you still here?» Yes because we still needed the check. This was probably my only chance to dine-and-dash and I missed it. Darn. She gives us the check. Takes her several minutes to come back to take our cards to pay. I feel bad if they’re working her that hard that she can’t get back and forth to guests in a timely manner. The pie was ok. Maybe if I ever feel the need to get a slice… well no, I’d just to get cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory.

Cocos can be great(with that massive pie list how could I not be happy?!), but it can also be just ok. The service, as a fellow Unilocaler pointed out, is very much dependent on what server you receive. The breakfast is great, however the lunch and dinner items are only satisfactory. Whenever my fiancée or my uncle order non breakfast items, they always leave disappointed that they paid that much for what they got. Breakfast time is really crowded, but later at night it’s pretty peaceful. All the pie tastes fresh, I don’t know if it really is but its dessert so I don’t ask questions. If your feeling in the mood for some really good breakfast and some pie, I would recommend this spot, even though it is a little overpriced on some things. If your wanting lunch and dinner food, o would say you could count Cocos out.

I eat at Coco’s on Oracle Rd. once in a while for a good, enjoyable meal. The food’s always well prepared, and the staff friendly and attentive. I really like the pork platter they’ve been serving as part of their spring menu — hope they make it a permanent offering year round!

I always go to this Coco’s with family while in Tucson. I had the steak and salmon combo most recently. They also have delicious gluten free pancakes. Great fresh-baked pies, too!

Friendly, competent service even tho understaffed due to corporate changeover. Lots of menu options. You will get a good, filling dinner with pie for desert at a good price. This is where we go when we can’t decide. It is reliably good, and we always think Why don’t we come here more often?

We were seated tonight and then no one came to our table for over 15 minutes. I mean no one. I finally had to go to the cash register in order to get someone’s attention. We finally got some service. Pie selection was limited. You would think that they would stock up on pies on Pi day, afterall. Disappointed.

Came in on «Pi Day». Not very many people dining at 9:00pm, about 3 booths. We waited about 2 minutes to get seated. Once seated, 3 more tables/booths were seated. Everyone of them had a server greet them and given their drink orders. We waited 10 minutes before we finally left because no one gave us the time of day. We will not return.

2 stars = service depends on your waitress, menu reminds me of Denny’s — too easy to completely overload on dessert for breakfast.

We tried Coco’s for the first time today and we were very impressed. My husband had the corned beef hash, which was a home run, and I had the Pacific scramble, which was chocked full of delicious, well cooked vegetables. My buttermilk pancakes were big and fluffy. It was a ton of food! Lots of side items to choose from makes it an incredible value. We will definitely return and look forward to trying lunch and dinner. Previewing the menu, there are some really unique options, more than your usual diner fare. Thanks for a great meal and a new neighborhood favorite.

I got to eat dinner here twice while on in town on vacation. I wish i could have eaten here more because the food was excellent, prices moderate, and the folks that run this place are warm and friendly. The menu also offers several healthy dinner items for us health-conscious folks. Of course the pies are awesome too and should be your dessert if at all possible. This is a great place to eat if you want high quality food, casual atmosphere, and friendly service at a reasonable price — it is my «go to» restaurant in this category.

We loved this restaurant. It was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. We loved it so much on our vacation that we went back twice. The first time we had a wonderful server named Hope, she was on top of our table of 8. She was very patient with our 4 kiddos, and she was quick with refills and our food. Our second time, unfortunately I don’t remember our server’s name, but she was just as quick and just as patient. We really were impressed with the food. They had wonderful options for adults and children. Our kiddos, ages 8, 10, 11, and 12, loved the food :) Take the chance and go!

Service was good. Do not get any of the hash meals. They are using an overwhelming herb that dominates the plate. This restaurant falls average on overall quality. Pancakes for instance are thin, not fluffy. Bacon is average as well.

Inexpensive and pleasant place for breakfast. Waitress was very nice and I enjoyed my fresh strawberry waffle. Friend had their breakfast special and enjoyed it. Opens at 5:30AM. Good values and pleasant place.

Came to this place looking for breakfast, we stood in line with no seating host /hostess for 10 minutes before anyone seated us. Waitress took another 10 minutes to get our drink order. My wife found a dead gnat in her tea when it finally arrived. We got up to leave, and the waitress confronted us very rudely. Avoid this place at all costs.

Update for the value-conscious diner: They have a 2 for $ 20 multiple-portion meal that was an amazing value. Not sure how long it will last. Gary got the prime rib. It was HUGE, lean and a really tasty cut. Even if it had been served in a fancy restaurant, it would’ve been well received. Gary’s prime rib portion and quality was easily worth the whole price of our two dinners. I had a grilled fish(Pollack?); also very good. We both got dessert because one pie choice came with the 2 for $ 20 deal, and I had a coupon for«National Pie Day.» Both pies were excellent! The dinner was a killer deal and very good quality. Hard to beat. Good going, Coco’s!

First of all, the food was great, it really was. Secondly, I’ve basically(in years past) probably paid the electric bill on this very location, going there DAILY for breakfast and a lot of times for lunches and dinners. Now the current REALITY. The service is crap, because their CORPORATEPOLICY is to NOTSTAFF any location beyond the absolute minimum. This then creates the next reality. The staff are zombies, absolutely NO personality, NONE. Waitress, none. Manager, None. Hostess, none. Just going through the minimum-wage zombie motions while you’re sitting around wondering when you’ll get any actual service. The place just sucks out loud, it’s CORPORATEGREEDWORKINGATFULLSPEED. I say, go elsewhere and one day this place will be vacant-and if lucky-a Jerry Bob’s or something will move in. Any Mom and Pop beats this crap. Enough is enough of the Corporate greed! As for this staff, they can retire to a street corner and spin one of those«Going out of Business» special signs, hey! Maybe even on this very place! One can only hope, I sure as hell am. The glory days of Coco’s are long, long gone and these Owners will never, EVER allow it to be what it once was. Notice, there’s only two left in Tucson from six in the 90s.

Disgusting food and dishes. My husband had lipstick still on his coffee cup! Waitress did not deserve the tip. My husbands pie look like it had been licked. Eww! I am reporting them to the health department.

So the pictures of the food looked really good on their website, so mom and I decided to give them a try. We were seated right away by a very perky hostess(and this wasn’t a bad thing as I’ll get into) and then sat there at our table for about five, ten minutes before anyone took any notice of us– well, any professional notice, that is… as in a we-are-the-customers-who-pay-your-paychecks– way. When the manager finally brought us coffee, there was no creamer with it and I like my coffee sweet and light. So another five minutes or so goes by and someone who’s supposed to be our server– Sheree R– comes by, finally. I ask her for creamer and she brings it. The coffee isn’t stellar, but it isn’t like the Bisbee Breakfast Club coffee, which is beyond horrendous. It was just a bit tasteless and highway robbery when they charge $ 1.99. After bringing me the creamer, Sheree disappears. And disappears. To the point where mom and I are wondering what’s the problem? It wasn’t even 9:30 and they weren’t busy. There was no excuse for Sheree to disappear for as long as she did. Finally *another* server comes by and asks if we’ve ordered and when she learned that we hadn’t, she told us that she’d be right back. And wouldn’t you know it, that’s when Sheree finally decides to grace us with her presence. So we order. I will say this: the food came out fast and it was good. Perhaps things could have had more spice, because it was a bit bland, but over all, it was good. What was not good was the awful service we got. Sheree disappeared *again* and I guess she was too busy talking to someone because it was the hostess Michelle that got us our boxes and took our order for the piece of pie that we got. And when I accidentally knocked over the jam packets, Sheree saw me picking them up and walked right by! Didn’t stop to help. In fact, she looked like she had a devil may care, ‘I don’t give a damn’ attitude that certainly earned her no points in any book. Like I said, the food was good. Michelle was sweet, and Sheree… well, I have nothing good to say about her service. It’s a toss-up on whether or not the food was actually good enough for us to waste the gas to go back.
