I really like the«vibe» of this place — the mixmatched chandeliers, chairs, tables, etc. I love how«cool» the place feels when you walk into it. Even more than the vibe, I love the food! They use high quality, fresh ingredients that I love. They get creative with recipes and most of the food is pretty healthy(relatively speaking. Ex: Sweet potato fries instead of regular fries, etc.) The chicken salad sandwich is incredible — and this comes from someone who hates mayo!!! They only use a tiny amount to hold it all together, but it’s not laid on thick like most places. Really incredible!

Create Café has lots of potential, but ultimately it just didn’t do it for me. We had lunch there today, and both my husband and myself ordered burgers. I really can’t remember their names, but his had bacon and jalapenos on it, mine had blue cheese. Both of them were very good. I especially liked the whole wheat buns. Unfortunately the rest of the meal wasn’t up to par. The burgers came with homemade kettle chips(too greasy), but we also ordered fries(soggy and greasy). We each ordered a milkshake, and at $ 3.50 each, I was expecting something else. What we got were the shakes that you see for sale in Quiktrip for $ 2.49 each. And they really didn’t taste very good. So to recap: burgers pretty good, everything else needs some improvement. Friendly staff though.

Best burger I have ever had. I got the half pound burger American style with bacon mushroom cheese etc. My got some egg concoction on hers. We were both pleased with the burgers A plus. A few things I didn’t like, no one greeted us, so we had no idea where to go to order, eventually we found the counter area where someone popped up. Also, the fries could be better, which is an easy fix, so they need to change these ASAP. They also have RC soda, and that’s just horrible. Finally I found the price of everything more than it should be, so they should scale back the price menu. However, despite the setbacks, the greatest burger in town a relaxing clean place… I give it 4 stars… Trust me I have tried a lot of burgers and this was the tastiest juiciest flavorful of them all. Tha truth

Well, not what I was expecting. I took my team here for lunch. It was fairly empty early in the lunch hour, but boy did it get loud as soon as a small crowd came in. Service was ok, not good but not rude. The décor is great! Fun without being too in-your-face. It looks like it would be a good place for kids, with the giant Legos and board games. The food was just alright. We had wraps and sandwiches, but not homemade or extra exciting. However, the walnuts that were in my Greek wrap were FABULOUS! I wish there was more I could say. The happy hour looks interesting, so might be back for that!

OK, maybe this is not fair, but I am knocking this place down not necessarily because of my own experience, but the overall experience of others in my group. To begin with, our food took nearly twenty five minutes to be delivered to our table after we placed our order at the counter. When you have limited time for lunch, this borders on unforgivable. Strike One… There was some serious side order sadness. Let’s talk about the fries. Yes, they were hand-cut, Yes, they were hot. They were limp and under-seasoned… AND were a $ 2 upgrade over the chips that came with the sandwich. Oh… the chips. My buddy(a Costco fanatic) said, «These are Costco chips». Maybe it’s a good thing they don’t make their own chips or they may have suffered the same soggy fate as the fries. Strike two… I had the biggy burger, Zeus-like, with feta, tzatziki, grilled onions, sauteed spinach, olives, sun-dried tomato AND tomato. Two things: the menu did not state that the burger had onions. It’s OK with me; I don’t mind onions, but there are lots of people that hate them. The olives were plain black olives and not Kalamata, which would have made a huge difference. We already know they shop at Costco. I KNOW they sell Kalamata olives there. One buddy had the turkey burger. He didn’t say much about it, but he never says much anyway. My other buddy had the BLTurkey wrap with French Onion soup. The first thing I noticed was that his soup had a slice of cheese on top. Sigh… that’s all I can say. He said his wrap was something he could have made at home. The menu advertised fresh carved turkey breast, which this was obviously of the deli variety. Foul ball… They have some intriguing specials: $ 5 burgers T-Th from 4 – 6, $ 2 tap beer specials and an $ 11 burger, chips and brew during certain hours. They haven’t struck out with me yet, mostly because the burger was not bad, but I won’t be in too big of a hurry to go back.

I have been coming here since they opened. Usually for a quick lunch as I work just up the street. I have never been disappointed in the food. Their salads are awesome and the burgers are great. The last time I went, I had a BLT turkey wrap. Not to bad… A little tight on the bacon. I love bacon so that may be a biased opinion ‘cuase I like baco, but still if bacon is in the name, I expect some bacon. Also it is a local place which I love, but why wouldn’t you use a local Tortilla shop to get some good local tortillas instead of the crappy pressed ones they serve. Being in Tucson, I think they are overlooking some resources there. And that would be one local business supporting another while making a good dish great. Everyone is always pleasant and it seems to be kid friendly which is awesome. My complaint is having to clean a table so I have a place to sit. Last couple times I had to do this. A bus boy isn’t that expensive. Sacrifice ½ star for cleaning my own tables, and a half star for serving horrible tortillas in a city full of wonderfull places to get them.

I was in Tucson this last Tuesday, so took my wonderful mom-in-law out for lunch. I had purchased a Groupon for this place quite a long time ago, so this is where we went. Mom got a turkey sandwich, I got a gyro and my daughter got a hamburger. We also ordered fries, and mine came with EXTREMELYSTALE chips. So stale I threw them away. Mom’s turkey sandwich was good. Lots of turkey, good cheese, good wheat bread. Megan’s hamburger was also good. My gyro was good too. I asked for a side of the tazeki(sp?) sauce and the side they gave me consisted of about a tablespoon. Glad they didn’t charge for it. The only one I can really talk about in depth was my sandwich. It had lots of nice tender beef on it. Enough tazeki. But for some reason, the sauce didn’t have a lot of flavor. French fries were nice and fresh and tasty. This was good for what it was, a good sandwich place for lunch. Kind of a funky interior with mismatching chairs and tables. If I was in the area, we would consider going back, but would not make a separate trip for it. Good place for what it was, a nice little sandwich shop. One piece of advice. Get rid of those nasty chips and serve something better, some nice potato salad or cole slaw, or better yet, some nice fresh chips.

Maybe it’s a no-no to review a restaurant before setting foot on the premises, but … I did try the Caprese wrap at the recent Tucson Festival of Books and it was wonderful! Lunching on the run, I was almost stopped in my tracks by the deliciousness of the fresh mozzarella, the perfect blend of ingredients, the not-at-all-soggy wrap. Create Café, you are on my mind. I owe you a visit. Soon.

From the outside I really thought this place was going to be a cheese campy salad and sandwich joint but I was in the mood for a sandwich so I called in an order. The guy on the phone was really very nice and told me some good things to get. Since I was shacked up 2 blocks on this place I just walked over. When I got there I was happy to see the inside was warm feeling and the staff [including the guy that took my order] were just as warm and friendly. Greeting me when I got in the door. I said hello and he must have remembered my voice from the phone as by the time I got to the check stand he had everything rung up. For two decent meals the cost was under $ 20 which I was happy about. I got home and my friend had her very yummy burger and I had a nice turkey sandwich. It was super stuffed and I had to use a fork for what didn’t fit on my bun. The bacon was really good and aside from the bun being only ok everything was wonderful.

What a fun place to bring kids. It’s right around the corner from the Miniature Museum. The kids loved their meals and I loved my burger. The vibe is very laid back with stuff for the kids to do including crayons and paper, games, and huge building blocks outside. I suppose older kids would like this stuff too. My wife said the iced chai tea was very strong. But I won’t dock them for that since I don’t like Chai tea.

Okay I loved this place. My husband and I came here today. Think café with alcohol perfect place to bring a book and hang out and have a great lunch. My husband ordered a salmon burger with the Zeus topping he loved it! The burger was huge and he also had sweet potato fries that he didn’t have room to eat. Since I didn’t eat his food let me tell you about mine. My burger was fabulous! I had the burger that was on special and it was delish!!! Instead of fries I had a cup of chili and the chili was amazing. I am craving to go back and get more. Our service was prompt and it was during lunch time. I am a little disappointed by people complaining about the wait because these burgers are great. This is not a fast food joint, it’s the perfect place to go to for lunch or dinner. They are also super kid friendly. I am really looking forward to taking my kiddos there. Yum!

Create Café? I dig it. Food was great, fresh and unique. I like the variety of the menu too! One downside is that it take a long time to get our food. I didn’t have my chillin’s with me, but I noticed a big play area for them which is a SCORE for a mama.

Sliding… We started going here regularly for family night when kids’ meals were $ 2, the beers were $ 1, and they had a jumping castle(Saturdays 5 – 9). Now monsoon is interfering with the jumping castle, and I am bored with the food. I don’t eat bread so am limited to the salads, which are good but not special. The $ 1 beers are not great, and they have others on tap. Last week, I got white wine, which turned out to be a mass-produced one from a tiny bottle, served warm. The tuna salad was off — tasted and smelled wrong. Also, the $ 2 kids’ deal only applies to hot dogs and quesadillas now. Fortunately tonight they were taking down the castle when we pulled up, so the kids weren’t too disappointed when we kept going and went to Nimbus instead.

We meet some friend for supper here and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. They have board games you can play, a HUGE free bowl of goldfish crackers for the kids(and the goldfish loving adult). The prices are fair and the food was good. The 1 $ draft happy hour helps out alot as well. They have two beers that you can get for a dollar monday to saturday after 4. I will go back.

Cool atmosphere? Check. Friendly owner? Check. Interesting menu? Check. Healthy alternatives? Check. The only thing the place is missing? The amazing BBQ beef that they took off the menu and now only bring back as a special. Argh. What the heck CC, that stuff is like crack, and now I’m fixin’ to get some but you don’t have it everyday. I am willing to say this sandwich was probably the best I’ve had in Tucson. Picture grilled garlic bread surrounding the best shredded beef dredged in a sweet and smoky sauce that has just enough kick. It’s amazing. Luckily there are enough other things to get me going. They have some nice wraps, great salads and a really yummy tuna. Total kid friendly hangout too, games, activities, stuff to keep ‘em occupied for hours. Know Before You Go: Really want the beef? Call and see if they have it first.

I came here because we had a groupon. From UA is kind of a trek but it had decent Unilocal reviews so we went for it. I was neither impressed nor disappointed. My general feeling is I were in the area again I might come here but I wouldn’t make a special trip from the other side of town. I got the daily special which was a burger with fried onion, peppers and mozzarella cheese. The patty itself was very well spiced but overcooked in my opinion(I like medium well, this was over well). Additionally, the bun was over buttered, which would have been okay other than the fact that the burger toppings were wet(which is normally a good thing) but the bottom bun was soggy because of this. I had to use a fork and knife at the end. I subbed fries and they were very boring, not much flavor. The chips(i think they were home-made) were pretty good. The burgers in general where decent portioned. They had a large selection of board games(we played Mastermind while waiting for our food) and the atmosphere is pretty laid back. If you are in the area, this is a nice place for a burger or chicken sandwich, and their salads also looked pretty good, but I wouldn’t recommend a long drive.

There is nothing like the chicken curry wrap. I have ordered that sandwich over 30 times. Yummy! However, I decided I had to try some other dishes and get out of my rut. I am so glad I did. The burgers and tuna wrap are equally as yummy. Great casual atmosphere. Also, my kids love going here. Great selection on the kids menu. Try it out. You will not be disappointed.

Best Burger in Tucson — So Far! We recently moved to Tucson and have been trying at least one restaurant per week. We saw the sign on the building that says ‘BURGERS&BREW” Heck, we thought that was the name of the place because it is larger than the name of posted on the sign. The day we went to the Create Café they were having a burger special called the«Rubinator»… a very naughty Double Burger with bacon, Swiss and cabbage. The Rubinator special was served with homemade chips and my choice of beer for under $ 10… What a deal! Finally… a handmade patty that is seasoned! Can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a burger as much as I liked the«Rubinator». It may be the best Burger I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant(home cooked burgers are always the best)
