Denny’s

Stopped for dinner, our waitress Tina was awesome and very cute. Super friendly on top of things. Although some of the stuff we ordered wasn’t available Tina made it all good. Food was good. Over all it was a good experience. Oh did I mention the waitress was to darn cute. Tuesday ⁵⁄₂₄ /​2016

Horrible service. I waited a very long time for my food. My waiter did acknowledge that. I overheard another waitress comping portions of other guests bill. Even at the counter, the lady comped the two people paying in front of me, but didn’t even ask me about my extended wait for my food. I’ll never go there again

So we took our son here today for his birthday hes six and they asked him to prove that it was his birthday then we paid extra for a side of gold fish and they brought out 18 gold fish very disappointing! We had to wait over 15 minutes just to get our drinks they were busy but there was also 5 or 6 servers and not many people still continuing to come in. I will never again eat at this Dennys! Then out of nowhere this wonderful sever Augie showed up and restored some kind of faith hes the only reason this Dennys got any stars at all!

I ate at the Denny at the corner of oracle and river rd in Tucson, I ordered some grits and side order of sausage, and 3 eggs, that was the Nastiest meal I have ever had, that’s a shame because the people that worked there was kind and helpful, but the food was terrible, the grits was dry and hard and not done, the sausage tasted like meatless sausage and boiled, the eggs tasted like they had been cooked hours ago. The 1 Star is for the kind people that waited on me.

Have eaten here 2 times in two days, I Have had a great experience here both times, great wait Staff. And the food has been some of the best I have ever had in this type of restaurant. Quick and clean. Shocked by the previous reviews.
1÷15÷2016 update: 3^rd time eating here, today was a bit more busy, still the service was great a bit slower but that is to be expected with nearly every table full, no complaints about the food, large correctly cooked portions. Great wait staff, had to wait for a coffee refill which after a reminder was quickly attended to.

Normally, I love Denny’s but this visit was different. It was about 8pm on a Friday night didn’t happen to be very busy and we were seated in a reasonable manner. Ounce we were seated we were never ounce again attended to… We happened to have patients for at least 20 min and decided to leave they didn’t even ask us what we wanted to drink or anything. Worst service.

Owner and Manager, Pay attention. Hotel Across the Street Fairfield Inn, wanted dinner before checking in decided Denny’s would be perfect.
This Denny needs help, Gentleman sat me and my Family down and told us someone would be with is shortly. Almost 15 minutes later no one came over, I saw a female one Table away as she dropped off items but then she scooted away. I saw a Family arrive, and the Waiter that sat us down help this family, taking their order and bringing them drinks.
I told my Family let’s go, I know we are tired and hungry but they don’t value our business. As we got up, all 8 of us one even made an attempt to perhaps stop us even acknowledge us.
So sad… We ended up at Wendy’s
If you don’t change your ways, Travelers wi ll write you up for poor Service and eventually you business will fail.
I might even Contact Denny’s Corporate to share my Experience. You accross the street from Major Hotels.
Think about changing or sell the place to someone who cares.

Wonderful Veteran’s Day kicked off with a free Grand Slam at our favorite Denny’s. Many thanks to the Manager who graciously greeted us, to our hostess/​cashier Toni, super efficient waitress Emely & to the grill master’s in the Kitchen. Food was magnificent, atmosphere inviting and friendliness outstanding. My appreciation to hubby for treating us to a special day!

So far not too bad of a wait for it being a Sunday. They do need maybe another cashier as I saw a family walk out on their check. It was Denny’s for the food.

The best thing about this place was the proximity to our hotel. The wait staff was friendly. There is nothing else positive about our experience. It took 15 min before our order was taken, another 15 min to get our drinks, and almost an hour to get the food once ordered. Wondering if the kitchen staff was unionized and taking their mandatory 30 min. smoke break as our order made its way to the kitchen. When the food arrived, it was cold and unappetizing. My daughter and wife ordered a breakfast platter for dinner. It looked as if the meal was left over from the previous breakfast service. The meat in my boys burgers tasted freezer burned and old. My omelette left much to be desired as the only thing hot about it was the Cholula hot sauce I added. This is why I don’t like to eat at Denny’s!

Good service… Clean… friendly…Vincent was a great server… average prices… good stop… thank you…

Waited 15 min to get seated. I can’t you how the food was, because I left. The service was VERY, VERY POOR!

Doesn’t even deserve that one star! Atrocious service… took forever to get service, waitress never came back after taking orders, took ages to get someone to check us out! Just plain ridiculous, and they weren’t even apologetic about the horrible service! Avoid at all costs!!!

Cook didn’t pay any attention to the specifics of our orders. Waitress was sweet though. Just a traveler passing through for the night getting dinner.

We had just driven in to Tucson from out-​of-​town and this restaurant was next to our hotel. Thinking we could get a quick meal we walked in and were seated right next to the kitchen. We ordered our dinner and waited and waited and waited.
Our server finally arrived with fish and macaroni dinners — we had ordered a salad and a burger. We told her of the mixup, she walked back to the kitchen and returned 5 minutes later to say «the computer ate your order» and asked us to repeat the order to her so she could get started on our dinner.
I regret not reading the other one star reviews about this location before we went in for dinner. I really haven’t encountered service this bad at any other Denny’s restaurant.

Came in from out of town and by far the worst Denny’s I have ever been to, and Denny’s is one of my favorite places. Bad service food takes too long and can’t even get some eye contact or a nod to let you know they’ll be right with you, expect a long wait and terrible service

Don’t waste your time and money. Takes forever to get seated, then forever to get a server and then the food is cold. That’s it. Don’t say I didn’t warn ya.

Great for a quick bite. Burgers are great. You can’t go wrong with Breakfast anytime.
