Everyone talks about Eegee’s so we saw one and popped in. The sandwiches were meh, the ice was meh, the place was dirty, and the staff was not friendly. I wouldn’t stop at this Eegee’s or another one ever again.

This might just be my favorite Eegee’s in town. It is über clean and the service is always fantastic and friendly, even during the crazy rush for lunch. It *is* Eegee’s so we all know they do a great job at pushing out a solid sandwich — my favorite is the veggie grinder. I also happen to be addicted to their ranch fries. This month’s flavor Cherry Cider is great blended with my absolute fave — piña colada. If you are from out of town and reading this, try Eegee’s it is an AZ jewel.

My family and I frequent this location because it’s conveniently located near our house, but time and time again we are disappointed and ask ourselves WHY??? we continue to go there. From sandwich buns that taste like cigarette smoke, to forgotten items(several times), over charging, food poorly made, or just a completely wrong order altogether. They offer to replace items or give a cookie but when this happens repeatedly it seems as though there is poor management and poor food quality control. I do not recommend this location! Today they forgot an item that we ordered and we didn’t notice the missing item until we got home. We called and went back to pick it up get home and it was ice cold… REALLY!!! They couldn’t make us a fresh one? Smh. I called back to express my disappointment they offered to replace it again… If I came back AGAIN? Um, no thank you! My appetite was ruined at this point.

When I specifically ask for extra ranch, and you don’t give me extra ranch… You fail. I was also asked to pull around the front and wait for fries. I have been going to eegees all my life and that has never happened before, and I had to wait a long while.

I need to stick to the Grinder sandwich that is seasoned well. The new sandwich of the month was pretty gross. Tons of mayo and no flavor with hardly any spice. Fries were limp and soggy. It’ll take me awhile to get over this meal.

Not impressed! Here on training from El Centro and stopped in for lunch. Small sandwiches and not much flavor. Very busy though, not sure what they see. Subway has it beat by a mile and cheaper.

I’ve been coming here ever since it’s been open. Today my mom took me to get lunch(5÷8÷15), I ordered a combo meal. Drive through clerk kept asking what size drink and my mom kept repeating«Large Dr Pepper». The girl finally said, «that’s what I asked» when my mom said again large Dr Pepper. No need to respond to customers like that, saying«that’s what I asked». So I got my food and drink. I finished my food and kept drinking my drink till I sipped something in my mouth. I rushed to the bathroom to spit it out and it was a small piece of napkin. I decided to pour the rest of the drink into a cup to see if there was more napkin in the eegee cup. Sure enough, way at the bottom of the eegee cup was a small folded napkin. Breaking into pieces due to being in the soda for a while. Not sure if it’s a used napkin, hoping it’s not! Very gross.

First time visitor. Customer service was great! Food was so-so. I order the February special BLT combo. It was ok. Nothing I would order again. Suggest using a artisan bread with it or spices because it was mostly bread and lettuce. The brown cookie was hard as a rock. Soda was sweet like a soda should be and not watered down. But amazing slushy/ice drinks with real tidbits of fruit in it. The drinks are what get it the 4 stars!

I love the food here !. And the slushies of course ! But the first time I came here I asked for a pretzel with mustard and they forgot my mustard. Today I went for lunch and they gave me my mustard but forgot my pretzel. –_–

Not bad but not spectacular either. They came up for my search for Smoothie Juice Bar. They don’t have either.

I’m normally not the biggest supporter of Eegee’s. Not that their food isn’t edible, I just always discover that I only go to Eegee’s as a last resort because it’s really nothing out of the ordinary. This location, however, has improved dramatically over the years. The kids that used to work the drive thru here 5 years ago were complete clowns who always screwed my order. They were more interested in attempting to be comedians — and did so rather poorly — than giving me my damn sandwich so I could get back to work. Now this location is quick and ALWAYS get my order right. They never ask me to repeat myself and they deliver the food quickly. There is nothing overly special about Eegee’s sandwiches, so my return to a specific franchise is completely dependent on my experience there. First off, if the sandwich is constructed poorly I won’t return. If the bread is stale, I won’t return. If you put too much mustard or the lettuce is so slimy that it turns the bread into dough, I won’t return. And if you are an employee that acts like a derelict or a moron, I will not return. Luckily for this franchise, I have not experienced any of that nonsense in several years. To be quite honest, this is one of my favorite locations in Tucson. They make my sandwich correctly, quickly and without giving me any hassle or b.s. Their level of efficiency is unparalleled on that end of town and they seem to pay attention to the quality of the ingredients because I never get stale bread, dry meat or gross, slimy lettuce. If you love Eegee’s and are in this part of town, don’t be afraid to stop by.

This is the nicest Eegees I have been to in Tucson. Everyone who lives in Tucson knows that a cold Eegee slush is what they are famous for and helps locals get through the hellish summers. Their fries are touted as the best in town. I have had many of the subs off their menu and they are all fantastic. Last, the employees are always friendly and personable.

The food is nothing to get worked up about, and the«upselling» is very annoying. I go mainly for the eegee drink, that allows me to overlook the rest.

Hey, what can you say, decent cheap grinders, fries are pretty good too, but ultimately, what everyone comes here for and what never seems to disappoint is the«Eegee» slushie. They are excellent and everytime I’m in town I have to swing by for one. The only question I have to ask when I come to town is «what’s the flavor of the month?» This month it was cherry pineapple and it didn’t disappoint. For some reason they have an Eegee’s on every corner in Tucson but haven’t been able to make the chain work outside of town. It’s a shame because I could really use an Eegee’s right now as I sit here writing this in Massachusetts!

I moved out of Tucson and every time I come back I have to make a stop at Eegees. Their Grinders and salads are good. I especially love what they call an «Eegee», which is a slushie like no other. The customer service here was AWESOME!

Good old Eegee’s. This local Tucson sandwich chain tastes a little like Subway to me. But that’s a good thing because I like subway. Their menu’s got the basic meats and comes in different styles: sub, grinder, d-lite on white, wheat or rye in 5″, 8″, or 12″. I personally like the grinder or the d-lite(add onions and pepperoncinis) for a slightly healthier option. Of course, you gotta have the frozen slushie drink, the eegee. I like getting the flavor of the month but I’ve heard the half strawberry/half piña colada is the best. Straight forward menu and straight forward food. I think it’s a good alternative to Subway.
