Why not 5 stars? …well sushi is one of those things, like a holy grail, that you always Want to keep searching for. Great job Sachiko!

Great sushi! Had 3 different nigiri and 2 different rolls, all good. Service seemed a little overwhelmed but food was great. Staying near the airport, it is close and good.

Fish not particularly fresh. Had the Unagi and the sauce was too sweet and applied too liberally. I will say that the service is excellent. Prices were comparable to other, better sushi restaurants.

What a great place to eat sushi. My husband had a few rolls and I did the sashami plate and it was very fresh and wonderful tasting. I think it is family owned and everyone was very friendly. The prices are very reasonable. Not a fancy place at all but a great place to eat.

Great sushi, had the boat special really excellent. Lived in Japan and Korea 10+ years… this sushi is like being there. Excellent service, quick, and accurate. Kitin Ichiban is superb. Highly recommended.

The food was terrible! the sushi had no flavor. Beef was soo dry. Potato salad was nothing close to a salad. Food was not good at all.

Delicious sushi! The sachiko special roll was especially good, the spicy salmon roll was also very good. There was no music or background noise, so it was very quiet and you could hear everyone around you, but if it wasn’t packed at all so it wasn’t a big deal. Overall great place.

I came to this place with my coworker Brianne H. for lunch the other day. The restaurant is clean and our server was nice. They have some good lunch specials — I got the Hollywood Boat, which came with a spicy tuna roll, a California roll, and a Vegas roll, for $ 13.95. We also were given miso soup and some edamame. The sushi was tasty. This part of town is a bit short on dining options so I’m glad I was told about it!

Everything I’ve ever had at Sachiko has been awesome. This was my go to spot for sushi in Tucson. It never disappointed, had great drinks(unsweetened iced green tea!), and all of their sushi was fresh and flavorful. I could eat their eel all day and the teriyaki is pretty legit too!

This place is a great find for Tucson. We are from out of town, Nevada and N. California and were impressed. Prices were very fair and fish fresh. The hamachi Kama was delicious and the sushi was good. The oysters in our one sushi(sorry I forgot the name, it was on the wall) tasted fresh and was very flavorful. Great presentations and all tasty. We had the miso soup and an udon dish and the curry chicken for my Dad, he’s a curry fan and loved it. My brother had a chiroshi and loved it. He ordered more after a while, of the hamachi toro and salmon toro… yummmm…I loved the yellowtail I had both the collar(hamachi kama) and the toro… I want to go back but don’t know how to fit it in… we leave tomorrow morning…

Really was expecting more. I usually go to the Wilmot location but thought I’d check this one out. Huge mistake. Went with a party of 6. The only thing that looked close to what I ate growing up in Japan was the Tokyo ramen. The curry rice was a joke. I mean… broccoli? Sushi was meh. The 20 minute drive to speedway and Wilmot is worth not having the regret you’ll have from eating here.

I came here with a group of colleagues for lunch. The staff is friendly, service is fast, and the food is good. I had their Vegas roll and it was delicious! Very reasonably priced, and awesome options available for lunch. The only con for me was that they don’t serve a fried California tempura roll, but I’m a picky eater.

Had basic spicy tuna and spicy salmon. Two rolls and beer I was full. Was very tasty. Both guys preparing the sushi were super friendly.

This place was about to violate fire code(joking) on the Friday night that I went. I’ve never seen so many people just hankering for sushi than I did at Sachiko. My guest and I got lucky. We arrived and the parking lot was packed as was the door and lobby. If I had to guess, we were looking at a 30 minute wait, if not more. But they were looking for a small party that was willing to sit at the bar. SOLD! So we were seated in under 5 minutes. As with many sushi places the place seems to operate on chaos. You have 5 servers who also double as bussers, food runners, chef assistants, and whatever else they could do. I’m sure if they could fling food out across the crowd, they would do that too. Because of this, service could be a little slow, but hey, eat and enjoy your food! I can’t remember what either of us got, but everything was eaten — soup, nigiri, uramaki or makizushi. I enjoyed it all. I am temped to believe that many other people feel the same — seems like a lot of people were there and a lot of other reviewers have made this their favorite sushi place.

THISPLACEISAWESOME!!! We are sushi lovers and this is our ultimate favorite spot. We’ve been here over a Hundred times and always get great service, awesome food, and decent prices. The best deal is the Titanic Boat. The variety is great. We especially love the«Super Vegas Roll» amazing!!! After living on a small island in the South Pacific, we got spoiled with the«right from the ocean» raw sushi fish. This place makes it as close to that as possible. The staff is super friendly and they really get to know you especially if you’re a returning customer. Even the Sushi Chefs give you a friendly wave or nod of the head. We hope you find this place as appealing as we do. It’s always nice to share news about an awesome place with those who are looking for one. Definitely our«go to» place for sushi! Enjoy!!!

Came here for lunch on a weekday with some former co-workers. One of these co-workers kind of warned us about how Sachiko doesn’t have very good Japanese food. Umm sorry former co-worker, but I have to disagree with you. The food I had at Sachiko that day, even though I don’t even remember what I had, was pretty good! Each of us shared plates of various sushi, and not a single sushi disappointed me at all! Having not eaten sushi or any Japanese food in over three years prior to my visit, I had a great time trying at least one piece of sushi from all the sushi we had ordered that day. Each of us also ordered our own meal. One of our co-workers ordered her meal that came in a pretty big boat, which fascinated me. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and suddenly flashed back to all the good Japanese food that I ate when I was in college. Definitely recommend!

I learned this place has been here for ten(10) years. Wish I knew cuz I am usually right in this area at least once a year. So I apologize for not sharing any photos of my phenomenal menu options but my battery was too low. I will tell you I had the eight(8) piece Sashimi, the Freshwater Eel, and the Tucson roll WITH a Kirin. So good. I am going back to my hotel and will probably pass out from eating ALL of that. Oh alright, I didn’t eat all of it but I did try. Staff was quiet. I sat at the bar and it felt awkward enough eating alone. At some places the itamae has been capable of being a host, much like a waitress/waiter is more than simply a person that serves your food, creating conversation with their guests. That part of the evening was the only negative but at least there was the news on the tv right behind the sushi bar.

Solid food for a solid price! My wife is a sushi snob and she loves this place. She says the Salmon Sashimi is extra fresh and delicious. I usually bounce around the menu and every item I have had has been tasty. I love their Gyoza. The Sukiyaki Ramen is delicious. The Chicken Curry is pretty good even though I don’t like much curry. The Chicken Yakisoba is awesome! The staff is super nice and I love the vibe here. Honestly, it is a very solid sushi bar and an equally impressive Japanese restaurant. If you are in the neighborhood, give it a try!

First time I ever heard of a Las Vegas roll was by way of their specials menu; reeled in by tempura encrusted cream cheese and deep-fried salmon. And while I know that elicits an eye roll from the sushi purists among us, I can’t help myself. I love it when rolls go wild! That was seven years ago, and I’ve since been judging every sushi chef on their version of the Vegas roll. In many areas this roll doesn’t even exist. Imagine my surprise/disappointment when I couldn’t find one while IN Las Vegas, after having inquired at two high-end, gourmet restaurants. The mister said, «Well maybe it goes by another name here.» Even though a California roll is still a California roll when you’re in California. But I didn’t find a roll in LV that matched the mainstay ingredients I was seeking. I didn’t search far and wide, either. Bah. But of the others I’ve successfully hunted down and devoured, Sachiko’s has yet to be surpassed. And while I’m obviously way too obsessed with this particular roll, the rest of the menu is great, too — and the customer service is top notch. But let’s talk a little more about the Vegas roll…
